Finally i've found a nyonya food that perfectly match my taste. A truely authentic nyonya delight. All the food and drinks i tried in this cafe today is so satisfying. The pork bun taste so yummy and the Rendang pork is truely amazing. The nyonya fried rice and chicken wing are really good too. Even the nutmeg juice with mint taste so refreshing. And their signature coffee is perfect as well. The environment is so retro and instagrammable. Can't help myself to take lots of photo in this cafe. And also, their food is serve in tiffin. Really brings us lots of childhood memories. Introduce the Tribute Retro Cafe which location at Hin Bus Depot. They serve different menu every week and there is only limited seat in the cafe so do call and make a reservation before you go.

So cool! Kerabu bihoon 😘 Assam Laksa comes with chunks of fish and goes well with all the fresh vegetables. 😍 A must try is Tribute Special drink. Parking available along Jalan Timah and free inside the compound of Hin Bus depot. Entrance to parking is from Jalan Timah.

A small, hidden gem in the heart of Georgetown. Homemade dishes that will transport you back in time to the good old days. The owner and chef is extremely friendly and will make you feel very welcome. Definitely will come back for more!

Sonny is a wonderful host, ensuring your time at Tribute is relaxing and special. We enjoyed the snack box with a variety of dishes. Each were delicious. Be sure to ask Sonny about the inspiration behind the place, it's worth hearing. Highly recommend.

We had a delightful lunch at Sonny’s retro cafe, and the service and hospitality was amazing! Already this place looks like it’s “out of time” with its kooky knick-knacks and vintage collectibles, ANDDD the food and experience was out of this world!!! We chomped our way through the crispiest chicken wings, fried rice that carried the taste and touch of a mother’s love and a savory rendang dish served in a charming tiffin carrier. The highlight had to be the iced nutmeg drink, which was just what we needed on a typically hot Penang afternoon! Even the youngest of our gang got the desire of his heart - complimentary lollipops! Thank you Sonny, for taking time to attend to our needs with so much devotion to detail. We are so blessed by you and your heart to feed and love the community.

Came across this little place whilst searching for somewhere to have lunch. The food was delicious. It was our first experience of eating out of a tiffin and also nyonya food - it didn't disappoint. The owner Sonny, is such a lovely guy and gave us great recommendations for our stay in Penang. Highly recommend.
