Overal so-so only. Definitely underwhelming when pricing is a factor you'd consider Didnt bother to be seated at the 'window' seat as you cant see the city anyways with obstructing view of plants, despite the waiters saying; minimum spend of RM 250 for window seats, regular seats dont have any requirements. I think we spent more than RM 400 per pax Starters Sourdough toast: came with salted butter & seaweed butter. I personally prefer the salted butter The 2 lil snacks (came with my set meal): delightable Foie gras: not bad, abit sweet Mushroom puree(?): good to go along with the sourdough toast but quite heavy on your tastebuds if consumed alone Some citrus-y cocktail that came with my set dinner (the yellow one you see with the foie gras): a very nice mix but lack the alcohol kick i was hoping for Mains: (just mine) Beef brisket: this was a let down. No jus to compliment it & the beef was not as tender as i expected, after the build-up from our starters. But the corns were something commendable, crunchy & sweet Desserts: Strawberry something: this is a saving grace after the sad beef brisket. Very light on the tounge, the textures of ingredient used is vastly different yet the flavours compliment each individual ingredient Oh, also the hotel couldn't validate the parking ticket as Willow is a third party in the W hotel, so full price it was (RM25 for 2 hours++) parking was without TnG, physical ticket & cash payment only

*Visit my insta @janefoodbaby for more! FANCIEST MEAL EVER! 10/10 for the ambience!! ✨ Note: There's a min spending of MYR250/pax if you requested for the window seat. You'll spend more than that anyways so just ask for the best view! This review is based on the 3-course menu* (MYR 250++, some items will require add on $) & ala-carte menu. We were not confident to go with Chef tasting menu as it was fully "omakase" style. All dishes ordered were based on staff's recommendation. Food/Price: 1. Spanish octopus (MYR102) - This was surprisingly good! Personally never liked octopus cause it's always TOO chewy, but this was perfect! The suckers were grilled until so crispy and the leg was so tender. Portion large enough for 2 pax for sharing. FUN FACT‼️Octopus has 2 legs, 6 arms (not called tentacles!), 3 hearts, 9 brains and blue blood (hemocyanin) 2. Hokkaido scallop (MYR98) - 2pc Fresh, huge scallops. Nicely seared on the outside and tender on the inside, sauce has a hint of spiciness. *3. Foie Gras (+MYR25) - Very creative and unique way of cooking foie gras. Good balance of savory from the creamy foie gras & sweetness/sourness from the raspberry. Way better than Beta's. 4. Uni Wing (MYR96) - Uni camouflaged with the wings, so take a closer look🤣 Wings are VERY CRISPY on the outside and stuffed with glutinous rice inside. 5-6. Cod (MYR138) - The oxtail broth was too salty for me, but overall it pairs well with the cod, not too overpowering. Cod was soooo good it melts in my mouth 🤤 *7. Miyazaki Brisket (+MYR30) - 36-hour braised brisket, very tender and flavorful. Definitely meet expectation! This was also on the saltier side. Didn't like the mini corn cake on the side though. 8. Tea-ramisu (MYR48) - Light and refreshing matcha cake! Perfect dessert for a heavy meal *9. Rum Baba - Mango, passion fruit, w/WHITE RUM! Strong alcohol taste yumsss! 😜 Very refreshing as well! 10. Complimentary sourdough (nice seaweed butter!) and appetizers. Overall a very filing (lol had to tapao the mains) and satisfying meal. I'd recommend all that was ordered to anyone! Service was not too bad but staff could be more attentive. Definitely enjoyed my birthday celebration here! 😍🥳

Ambience: comfortable seating arrangement with purple theme interior. Came during a lunch time for a quieter dining experience Service: very attentive and observant Food: tried their 3-course lunch meal and it was amazing! Hamachi was flavourful and well prepared as it didn’t have any fishy smell or taste, the salmon cooked very well with crispy skin and creamy sauce. The dessert however was very hard due to the toffee😭 it was small in size and I took 10mins to finish as it was hard to cut. Tried my friends vegetarian main dish ( truffle potato) and it felt like eating taro balls😂 quite filling and tasteless on its own, thanks to the mushroom it had some spark to it. Would come back for dinner course

Came here for Christmas cocktails and it certainly did not disappoint. It’s only a seasonal festive offering so best to get here before the New Year. We had the winter spice and bourbon Alexander and throughly enjoyed it. The bartenders were very accommodating too.

This place is definitely a best choice if you r looking for a romantic and peaceful fine dining atmosphere for special occasion. Service from their staff is really excellence and detailing from taking care of our food up to the extend of putting on extra mile to offer assist to shoot perfect and professional angle photo for us. We ordered 3 course lunch menu and 3 course Prix Fixe menu each. Overall food presentation and taste from Starter, Main course to Dessert are not disappointing eventhough putting quite high expectation on it, quality worth for the value. Plenty of indoor car park available, remember to validate your restaurant receipt at reception counter in order to entitle flat rate RM15 per entrance.

Dishes tasting for a good friend's wedding ceremony conducted here. Excellent services by the team during the wedding ceremony which truly deserve loud applause. Thanks to chef Timothy Wang for the dish preparation, all of the dishes taste good. They're a restaurant with an excellent ambiance, suitable for one who likes an instagrammable places.

The set dinner is absolutely spot on. From starter to the main course. I love every single dishes. My favourite dish is Cod! It's cooked to perfection with a glazed of Miso and Dashi broth. I'm not a person with sweet tooth so I think the dessert is so so. The ambience is really great too with a window overlooking klcc tower. Food is served timely and service is impeccable! There's smoking area outdoor and it has beautiful view too!

Came for their lunch set and was not disappointed. Though I was hestitating to give 4 stars or 5 stars, their dessert really blew me away so I'll give them 5 stars. The sourdough bread: it was pretty mundane and the butter was nothing special, just salted butter and the seaweed butter didn't have strong flavours. I prefer truffle butter but it's ok. The sourdough felt underbaked and no different from something you get from a cafe. Trout egg benedict appetiser: The fish and ikura was good here, though the egg taste is too overpowering and it reminded me of kopitiam egg and toast. Regardless it was delicious Angus beef main: I was a bit let down by this dish. It came a bit cold even without the sauce, and the slices were a bit thin. It was perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing so can pass la but not the best. Chocolate and coffe with bailey: My favourite dish today, it was complex with a variety of chocolates with strong alcoholic taste. You can really enjoy this dish slowly and taste the different elements. Overall it was a pleasant experience with friendly staffs and surprisingly it was mostly empty during lunch. In terms of value it's a bit pricier for what you get but understandable due to the location.

Back for the second time and it didn’t disappoint. Had their 5 course Omakase and found it absolutely delightful. Pricey yes, but it’s one of those restaurants where you’d treat yourself or that special someone to an unforgettable degustation journey. I paired mine with their refreshing Eden Melon cocktail (pictured in this post). It’ll be a long drink but you’ll leave oh so satisfied! Will be back again.. and again.. and again. Till that next special occasion.

Willow replaces Saint Pierre at the W, a far more liberated and excited version of its former self. The menu draws inspiration from all over the world - textures of somen, scallion pancake and perfectly sous vide lamb, with tastes of pistachio, cumin, uni and gojuchang. One can opt for the a la carte or 5 or 7 course omakase experience, and finish off the meal with the devilishly clever cocktails on the menu. The meal we had was interesting with every bite, crafted with quality ingredients and a global perspective to what tastes good together. The keladi rice is a must try. Four stars and not five, as the decor and setup were somewhat gloomy and seemed almost an afterthought. The ambience of the main dining space didn't quite connect with the food, so get the window seats if possible. But I look forward to coming back again, hopefully after a space redesign!

Had a wonderful & memorable birthday celebration! Loves the modern and floral deco, especially the pink flower tree, ia perfect icon for instagram photo-session … The 3-course lunch served was absolutely fantastic! The service staffs were attentive. Especially a waiter called Hafiz (a great photographer) who took a lot of nice pictures for us.

Had our company annual dinner here. Food was good, and service was perfect. We had the whole place for ourselves, they also have a very good live band too. Ambient was prefect and they have many spots for great photo. Parking was easy. They also allowed for own alcohol with corkage charges.

Came for an anniversary dinner, got seated by the window and had an amazing view of KLCC. My husband is quite fussy with his food, but thinks the A5 steak he had was one of the best he’s had, and I quite enjoyed the options on my tasting menu as well. The mocktail pairing was wonderful as well, there was some options that were awesome! Our waiter Sharul was polite, well informed and even gave us a drink on the house for our anniversary.

A lovely high tea in a wonderful place! The wisteria just makes it so whimsical, surrounded by an amazing view of the twin towers. Food quality was great, everything from the wagyu sliders, to the teas and sweet treats; just absolutely delicious! Great ambience for spilling teas with your friends!

This place is famous because of a tree in the restaurant. Came here because of a friend birthday. If you afraid of getting hungry easily, you can consider to go for their 3 course meals and also able to top up w wine pairing for a price. We ordered set menus and some sides. Overall the food here is delicious w a punch of Indian fusion western taste. Do note that the portion here is small given of the food is to the high side but quality is definitely there.

Overall the food id say is pretty good. I had the fine dining course meal, I was questioning the choice of combination. For example, panna cotta served as an appetiser topped with caviar, some ice cream topped with caviar (again, and not a dessert dish)

Came here to celebrate birthday. The food was good, service was fantastic. Nice ambience. There was a live band performing for the guests. We have to pay a minimum RM700 to be seated at the window for a nice KLCC view.

I came here with my husband for our wedding anniversary. I saw the high rating on google and was intrigued. After our experience there, I must concur that their high ratings are well deserved. We ordered the four course - mine was with cocktail pairing, my husband had the wine pairing. My order was the somen, Hokkaido scallop, lobster, and chocolate & coffee. I enjoyed them all - the chefs combination of flavours matched my preferences very well. My husband ordered the hamachi, Spanish octopus, cod, and melon. Special mention would have to be the somen - I especially enjoyed this. I will definitely be back to try the high tea next time.

I don't usually do reviews, but this restaurant is terrible and was a waste of money. Five slice of substandard beef cost RM300. Everything else was overcharge even basic coffee tasted awful. Will never bring my family or anyone there ever again.

The restaurant was so amazing. Its perfect for romantic and dating place to go. If you want to celebrate for special occasion,, etc: birthday, anniversary, must order their signature board. And if can, book table at window seat. Private space and its also perfect for picture! Just want to share range price for 2 people around 1k. Worth it! You guys must go! ❤️

When we think about celebrations, Willow is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, my Spanish Octopus, Cod, Porcini might have been the best meal I have ever been served. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10 Well done!

Excellent dining experience, every dish was flavourful and well executed. I can't choose a favourite because I enjoyed every single one of them e.g. cod fish with dashi broth was comforting, wagyu striploin was tender and delicious, ravioli had strong mushroom flavour which I really love. Perfection from start to end, mummy agrees too ☺️

This place is all about presentation (food wise & the place) . We had to secure our booking with a credit card and was told that we will be charged RM100 per person for late cancellation or no-show. As we wanted to sit by the infamous window view, our booking is only for 15mins and they reserve the right to re-sit us elsewhere if we're late. As we are a group of 6, they also require our individual pre-order apparently to avoid delay. So, no changing your mind on what to eat on the day. It was the most stressful pre-dinner experience. For the fuss with the booking etc, the food was just okay. I especially like the Miyazaki Brisket. For the price, the portion is small. We ordered dessert board (RM180) for the birthday girl but it was too sweet & we couldn't finish it. I think there were mousse-like ice cream/frozen yogurt, brownies, crushed pavlova, maybe pralines & some berries. The waiter was really attentive & even help us with the best photo for the night.

Visited: 15/10/21 with my wife and friends. Overall is good. Food: 4/5 great food, but there is a room for improvement. Cocktail: 5/5 highly recommended for ala carte & pairing. Service: 4/5 need to groom your waiter. I don't like your aprons design. Communication skills need improvement, but the service is very good. Ambiance: 5/5 good place for couples. Need a live band & sofas for drinking & dining. I hope there is a bar foods too.

👍👍 for its interior, ambient and view. Totally Instaworthy! 👎 First pot of Earl Grey was tasteless. (After infused for 15 mins) 👎 Asked for change to English Breakfast. Tasteless. Unsure if it is due to the brand Zesta. 👎 Scones is sub par. Dense and no butter taste. 👎 A layer of the sandwich was missing. Instead of changing the whole piece, waiter came with a piece of toasted white bread to complete the missing part. Pretty funny. 👎 Praline is just milk chocolate 👍Earl Grey Choux 👍 Mini Salmon croissant RM150++ per pax, not worth the price. St Regis, Ritz Carlton or Majestic Hotel is far better.

Amazing place 😍 It has a glamorous purple interior with high ceilings, cool birdcages, and a bright sunlit room. An ode to the spring season, the willow is the first bird to arrive after a cold winter. With a beautiful restaurant-length bouquet of purple flowers hanging from the ceiling, I’m expecting Prince to make a grand entrance at any moment.

I would like to share this awesome experience at Willow KL. The staff is super attentive. The moment we walked into the premise, the staff welcome us with friendly smile. They are very patient when we asking questions (the ingredient). Other that 3-course menu, we ordered ala carte scallop and octopus. The octopus is so yummy and not chewy. The chef is superb! I am surprise with cod fish in the 3-course menu, they serve with dashi soup. The fish is still very hot when serve to our table, and the cod fish is so fresh and thick. very worth the value. Not to forget, the staff is also very pro in taking photo. They know which angle is the best. Good Shot! Being a pregnant mom, the staff informed the kitchen, and the kitchen prepared fully cooked appetizer instead of raw salmon tart. Reasonable price, cosy place, attentive staff, good food. I did not give 5/5 star because of the parking, the parking cost me RM25 for 3 hours.

Located 8 floor in W Hotel. You get a nice view of Klcc at the window. Overall this place definitely hit the right note, most of the time. The food is very good and definitely feel like you paid its worth. You get a choice of 3 course (rm200-300) or 7 course (rm580++). Pairing wines comes at a hundred more. Most of the food were good, and I have nothing critical to say. The waits staff was great, friendly and attentive, especially the guy with the chin length hair. But saying so.. I did have a slight negative experience, with one of the staff that was cold and unfriendly. Serving the dessert and, He enquired whos bday was it. He then promptly dropped of the dessert and walked off quickly. Thankfully the other waiter followed up by coming to our table and made a simple wish.

Ambient okay , live band acoustic was nice. Environment still ok . However the food really so so only abit over rated and over price especially for the wagyu beef. It taste like my cat canned food to be honest. If wish to dine for a better beef recommend go to the prime @ le meridien . The ending dessert is too sweet. When i having my yuzu sorbet , halfway i stopped and record some video when i turn back to my dining table, my yuzu sorbet was gone. The waitress took away without acknowledge me.

Very beautifully curated dishes. Service was exceptional. Didn’t like the music choice. But perhaps it was Mother’s Day. Highly recommend the beef tartare. Would recommend not the caviar - overwhelming chives on stroopwaffles. Scallop was cooked perfectly.

  • 3/5 Antony L. 2 years ago on Google
Like the deco of the place. We started with Cauliflower Soup and Hamachi. Loving the Hamachi but unfortunately, the kitchen didn't get the lamb loin right. Knowing we ordered medium rare, I don't think this is the right balance of fats and the loin Wasn't done right, it's rare. Wasn't a good start with the chicken too because I had a crunch of salt in my 1st bite of the chicken. However, overall flavor was ok. Was planning to have 3 course dinner but after trying the mains, we didn't proceed to order anything else. I don't remember how much is the parking rate but you can ask for flat rate RM 15 at the front desk. So if you wanted to go for a 2nd round, just leave the car there and walk. Ordered 2 starter, 2 mains and plain water for two, total was RM 405.90.

Had a wonderful dining experience here from their ambience to the food and service. They serve complimentary sourdough bread with 2 diff kinds of butter. Scallops were nicely cooked to my liking. Somen was just okay (personally not a fan of it in general). The octopus was amazing! It wasn’t chewy at all, it had different textures and the gochujang flavour made it appetising! The lamb loin was cooked medium rare to my request and it tastes very light and non gamey. The lamb fried patty that was served alongside it was very flavourful! Got the chocolate porcini for dessert and you can definitely taste the mushroom but its not overwhelming at all, and the chocolate mousse was not too sweet! The server Mimi was extremely helpful and will help you take multiple pictures and she even teaches you how to pose nicely and the angles are amazing! Truly an amazing experience at willow 👍🏻 bring your gal pals or a date for celebration
