The
short
story.
First
class
service!
The
long
story
started
with
my
finally
being
able
to
go
to
Sabah
for
a
holiday.
The
catch?
I
need
to
do
a
PCR
swab
test.
It
wasn't
easy
to
find
HBM
Family
Clinic
on
Google
but
I
got
lucky.
I
went
to
HBM's
website.
Saw
a
PCR
Test
they
had
labelled
as
'Suitable
for
Pre-Flight
Screening'.
That
was
very
smart
and
intuitive.
All
the
others
I
looked
at
never
said
any
of
their
swab
test
was
suitable
for
pre-flight
screening.
In
this
very
confusing
time,
to
know
that
the
test
you
chose
is
the
right
one
is
a
huge
relief.
I
clicked
for
to
booking
an
appointment.
The
instructions
were
easy
to
follow.
But
after
filling
all
the
relevant
details,
I
clicked
to
pay
and
found
out
they
only
accept
Pay
Pal!
I
don't
have
a
Pay
Pal
account.
The
other
choice
was
'Manual
Payment'.
Didn't
know
what
that
meant
but
I
clicked
on
that.
Instructions
came
up
asking
to
make
an
online
payment
to
HBM
and
whatsapp
the
proof
of
payment
to
a
handphone
number.
I
online
banked
and
send
the
payment
receipt
to
the
HBM
handphone
number.
Within
an
hour,
I
received
a
whatsapp
message.
I
was
ask
very
pertinent
questions
as
to
what
my
test
was
for.
That
done,
the
appointment
was
concluded
promptly
and
efficiently.
Then
she
asked
me
when
I
was
flying.
I
was
advised
to
change
my
appointment
closer
to
my
flight
(29hrs
closer).
I
was
assured
the
test
results
will
be
with
me
way
before
my
flight.
This
would
stretch
the
14
day
validity
of
the
swab
test
result
out.
The
appointment
change
was
again
quickly
done
and
confirmed.
HBM
did
not
have
to
take
this
extra
step
to
stretch
the
test
validity
for
me.
It
only
made
for
more
work
for
the
same
money.
But
they
did.
A
small
attention
to
detail
that
makes
the
situation
better
for
the
customer.
It
shows
such
caring
professionalism.
Here's
the
clincher!
3
days
after
I
made
the
appointment
and
paid
in
full,
Sabah
announced
that
there
will
be
no
more
PCR
test
necessary
to
enter
Sabah
as
of
1
Dec
2021.My
test
was
schedule
for
the
afternoon
of
9
Dec
and
my
flight
was
the
morning
of
11
Dec.
Did
I
just
burn
RM
220.00?
I
whatsapp
HBM
to
explain
this
new
development.
I
requested
for
a
possible
refund.
HBM
told
me
they
will
get
back
to
me
in
24hrs.
Instead
they
got
back
to
me
in
2hrs
and
asked
me
for
a
bank
account
they
can
reimbursed
the
full
RM
220.00
to.
I
had
my
money
back
in
my
account
in
less
than
24hrs!
People
say
it's
hard
to
find
good
service
in
Malaysia.
I
beg
to
differ.
HBM
is
an
exemplary
example
of
not
good
but
excellent
service.
My
only
criticism-
forget
Pay
Pal.
Take
TnG
&/or
credit
card
payments.
Apart
from
Covid-19
Tests,
they
also
provide
the
