Zentrale, aber ruhige Lage. Sehr preiswertes Parkhaus direkt gegenüber. Zimmer geräumig, mit Balkon im 3. Stock. Zimmer und Bad sauber und ordentlich. Frühstück gut und reichhaltig. Frühstücksservice, nett und freundlich.

The good things first: All the members of staff is very friendly, the beds are great, the breakfast is very tasty and the price is fair. The location is also really, really good. What you should be aware of: The rooms, and specially the toilets can be a bit small for some peoples taste, and there is no where to buy snack or drinks near by in the evenings. 2.20 for a 0,2 Coca cola in the minibar is a lot. All tv channels are in German. All in all a great hotell for our needs, I will definitivt be back but I hope the fan in the bathroom by then has a separate on-switch as it is very loud.

£309 for 3 nights Room in the attic sloping roof not worth the money we paid, the stairs were challenging, advertising free breakfast but it cost 7 euro a day kulmbach is a lovely town but won't be staying there again

Located in the small centrum of Kulmbach, this hotel has a very nice atmosphere going for it. Personally much preferred over the bigger hotel chains. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The personnel is very friendly and the breakfast is fresh and extensive. An underground parking garage is located right next door and costs under two Euros for a night. Further on, there are plenty of restaurants nearby and the main roads are easy to reach. If you travel alone and don't mind a small room, ask for a room in the attic. These have a very nice window where you can just sit and look outside, read a book or whatever.

Room was ok. Breakfast was average, I would recommend having it somewhere else. Location was nice, close to the walking path to Plassenburg. The lady at the check in wasn't the most friendly, but the rest of the staff was very nice.

Sehr gastfreundlicher Empfang, ausreichende Zimmergröße, großes Bad, alles sehr sauber, tolles Frühstück. Ein Stern Abzug weil Bett für Pers. >190cm und >100kg absolut ungeeignet. Aus diesem Grund würde ich für mich das Hotel nicht nochmal aussuchen. Für alle Anderen "Empfehlung" (außer mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen)

Zimmer waren top, für eine Übernachtung perfekt. Negativ ist die Laune des Personals beim Frühstück zu bewerten. Leider werden Weißwürste oder Rührei nicht mehr aufgefüllt, und ab 09.00 alles andere auch nicht mehr.

Great place to stay if attending Kulmbacher Bierwoche! You can see the tent from the rooms if your facing that way!
