Although it is a museum, it seems that the main business is buying and selling, so it would be more refreshing to classify it as a sword shop. However, there is no stiff atmosphere at all, and you can look around quite frankly. (In terms of atmosphere, it feels like you are visiting a warehouse for organizing.) It's a good system that if you first purchase an admission pass (valid for one year), you can come as many times as you like. It's easy to create a flow where you visit the store many times and get to know the staff. The inside of the store is quite small. (As mentioned above, it is a warehouse) The swords are also displayed and stored quite casually. If you have luggage, I think it's best to leave it at the entrance and walk around the store empty-handed. If you applied in advance to the store staff, you could actually hold it in your hands and admire it.

It feels more like a gallery run by an antique dealer than an art museum. It's not very spacious, so if there are a lot of visitors, it might be difficult to move around. Shinsengumi-related swords are displayed in an easy-to-understand manner.

About 5 minutes walk from Chayamachi Station. It seems that they collect and sell swords from a wide range of regions, with a focus on swords from the Bizen region. Swords made by the same creator as the swords used by Shinsengumi and Miyamoto Musashi are also on display, designed to create a sense of familiarity. If you look at it purely as an art museum, the exhibition space is small and the aisles are filled with luggage and other items, making it a bit cluttered.

If the Bizen Osafune Sword Museum is for learning, is this for practical benefit? You can also purchase However, the amount of information is too much for me, who only has half-baked knowledge... The admission fee is an annual passport, so if you live nearby, please visit as many times as you like.

I received my father's sword. I felt that I would be treated with respect here. I felt that it was a very good relationship.

Just a short walk from the parking lot. Traffic volume is not small. You can imagine it as an antique shop that mainly sells swords. The 1,000 yen admission fee also becomes an annual pass. Appraisal, purchase, maintenance, and sale of antiques. After getting into a fever with Touken Ranbu, you can take pictures inside the hall. Furthermore, except for the items stored in the cases, you can ask the store staff to touch and appreciate the items.

The site is not large, but there are many swords, and they are all serious 👍 It seems that they also sell them, so why not display them in your alcove or use them as a guardian deity for your home? I can go to see it 😊 I also want to go see it.

    身近に刀剣を見ることができます。刀装具も美しい。ガラス無しで目にできる刀剣もあるので新鮮です。十手や鎧、銃などもあるので面白いです

Annual pass for 1000 yen for junior high school students and above. On the first floor, photos were allowed and swords were sold. The second floor is an exhibition space.

I was surprised at the high entrance fee considering how small it was, but it was well stocked inside. I was able to see the sword very close, so I had a really fulfilling time. The free rush weaving museum right in front of you was wonderful, with the male guide carefully giving interesting explanations, and considering it was a set, it was a good price.
