香川では無いが、岡山にも美味しいうどん屋さんがあると聞いて出掛けた。このうどんを食べたくて、今回の旅の出発日を考慮していたら年末は、定休日の火曜日も営業するそうで安堵した。時刻:5:56 すでに明かりが灯り受け入れ体制整っているのかな。香川県には朝早くから営業しているうどん店や、お昼の数時間しか営業しないうどん店が多く存在しますが、岡山県にも営業時間が短いお店があるんです。1日の営業時間は、たった2時間45分のみ!しかも早朝6時から7時の間だけ!昨夜からの雨がまだ降りしきる中既に3名の先客がいるが、天気も悪いし、寒いし真っ暗だし、この程度で終えるだろうと思っていた。暫し店内を見物すれば、飲食スペースがちゃんとありました。この時点で20名程まで増えていました。定刻6時よりちょっと遅れたが開店です。並ばれてる方に話を伺うと、今日は天気悪いし冬で寒いから少ないですが、夏ともなれば長蛇の列が出来るのが毎日の光景だそうです。
工場内に入っていき、注文と同時にお金を支払う、支払いは現金のみです。多く皆さんが釜玉うどんを注文することも教えてもらいましたが、店内チラシのラー油が気になり釜玉ラー油の大盛りと決めていた。並んでいてもお店の方は手際良く裁く為、並ぶ時間は短いです。茹でたてうどんにラー油だけ添えられ、釜玉は自ら生玉子を1個取ります。ネギ、天かす、マイセルフのおろし生姜をチョイス。最後に醤油を一回し掛け完成です。しっかり混ぜこんで、では頂きます!一口食べてラー油のアクセントが良いね。辛いだけで無く独特のうまみがそこにはある、刻みタマネギをラー油と調味用で煮込んだものだがピリ辛で美味しいね。食後は、使った丼は自ら洗うシステムでした。今日は12/30晦日と製麺屋さんは大忙し、今朝は2時から仕事をし、うどんは勿論年越しそばの製造、更には掻き揚げなどの天ぷら類を仕込んでいた。そんな日にも短時間ながら食事の提供をしている姿に頭が下がります。朝6時から7時までのたった1時間しか営業されないのは?、この後は麺の配達があるので営業時間の延長は無理です。今後も1時間の営業時間は変わりません、朝早くからお客様に来て頂いてるので、朝一番に元気を届けたい!との思いで励んでるそうです。そんな松家製麺所さんであった。
