😠 Poor conditions in rooms, specially barthrooms were not clean disgusting. My kids refused to go in and we had to find a better place. They even switch rooms on the next day and seems so greedy on money they earn through young couples by rent them for few hours only for sex. Dont recommend this place... People often mention room, lake, nice,

The place is with minimal facilities. Rooms are packed and small. Cannot satisfied with the Cleanliness and the place is renting for couples for few hours. So for family accomodation not recommended. But situated in ashore of the Prakrama Samudraya can walk to the towards the lake, during the rainy season water fills up to the hotel level. Rooms are not face to the lake. In internet you will see such misleading information but NO.

Pass your way! Unless you are ready to give business to people who lies... We booked via Booking.com a double room with Lake View and no lake view was offered. Also it was booking with breakfast but the lady owner refused to provide it arguing that their rate with booking.com are too low. There two ways to do business... Personally, i can pay more, but i do not work with liar as they corrupt the overall business.

Nice place near the Lake. Nice food good service. Food is awesome. The owner is very nice and helpful. Most importantly the place is adjoining a huge lake 'Nuwara Wewa'. There are cabanas where you can have your food and relax. Alshashen dog is the guardian 😉😉😉🤣🤣🤣. Parking is available. The location is in Dambulla Anuradhapura main road. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast is Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 . Anuradhapura sacred city is 4 kilometers away and Mihintale is 6 kilometers away. The lake is beauty in the night as you could see the Stupa in Anuradhapura from here. You can see Ruwanwelisaya and Abhagiriya temples through the lake. Nice staff and nice stay.

We stayed at a family room and the room size was alright. But the bathroom condition was very poor and also it was very small. They need to improve it. The staff was very nice and made us a delicious sri lankan breakfast. They also gave us mangoes from their own tree. Vehicle parking is also enough, but be careful as there are coconut trees in some spots. They accept only cash at the moment.

Hotel Millenium is a lovely locally owned, family run hotel. We based ourselves here whilst visiting Anuradhapura and Wilpattu National Park. We had a double room that was quite spacious just for 2 people. The bathroom was clean and lovely hot water shower. The A/C worked really well and there was a fan too. We had both a Sri Lankan breakfast and a Western which were both simple but tasty. The view of the Lake is just stunning in the morning! Loads of car parking and a lounge area where you can hang out. During our stay the wifi wasn't very good. It was too slow to connect so we used our phones. The owner is currently sourcing a better connection to fix the problem though!

Nice Small hotel within the vicinity of the ‘Nuwara wewa’. From the hotel, the three sacred stupa ‘Ruwanweliseya’ , ‘Jeethawanaramaya’ and ‘Mirisawetiya’ can be seen over the water’s edge of the ‘Nuwara wewa’. Both AC & Non AC rooms are available. It’s run by a local family. The owner is a young, kind heated and helpful person. During the discussion I had with him, he didn’t even ask for an advanced payment. I wanted to have an AC room for six members and he was very flexible on that request. The room rate was very reasonable. We had a great welcome. The room was clean and had adequate facilities, all the basic needs were there with AC. In our room, we didn’t see a TV , Hot water facilities or WiFi, for which we didn’t bother at all. There were enough spaces to our kids to play. The place is managed by the hotel owner’s mom. She was very kind and hearlty spoken. She even prepared the ‘Kiri Aahara Dhaanaya’ for us. We only had to scrape coconut. If you wish to cook your own meals, there is a kitchen for that.
