We did 8 days in Sri Lanka and 3 in the Maldives and we could not be any happier with all the amazing, once in a lifetime experiences we had! Firstly, booking with BH Lanka was very smooth and took so much stress away from planning. I sent them a list of all the things in Sri Lanka that were important for us to do, and within a few days they sent back a detailed itinerary including all the activities I requested and more, hotels, dates, prices, etc. All I had to do was book flights, and they had someone at the airport waiting to pick us up! Next and most important, our tour guide, Chinthaka! If you can request Chinthaka, you should, because we cannot imagine there is any better out there. To start, driving in Sri Lanka is chaotic, with lots of tuk tuks and mopeds speeding all over, he was an expert at navigating all the roads and we felt safe every minute in his car. He paid close attention and noticed what our interests were, for me, its animals. When he noticed I stopped and pet every one of the 100s of stray dogs on the street, he helped me order food for them at a restaurant and drove us around to hand out the food to all the starving dogs. He spent 3 extra hours of his own time at a turtle hatchery with us, because I found out they release baby turtles at 6pm but we were leaving at 3pm. He knew how important animals were to me so he let us stay so we could have the magical experience with baby turtles! He is also an expert on Sri Lanka, the culture, the history, the food. There is nothing he cannot answer and you can tell he is happy to share all he knows. Next, all of our beautiful experiences, the highlights include: seeing elephants up close on a jeep safari, we also saw jackals, crocodiles, three types of monkeys, and many species of beautiful birds. Scenic train from Kandy, Ziplining and swinging in Ella, several waterfalls, the Nine arch bridge, a river safari through mangroves, snorkeling with sea turtles at the beach, the botanical gardens, the tea factory, a turtle hatchery, several beautiful and historic temples, and so much more! All of our hotels had excellent service and accommodations. The rooms exceeded our expectations, were clean, aesthetic, and most importantly we felt safe. Every hotel included breakfast and dinner, most were buffet style and had plenty of options for all types of eaters. For lunch Chinthaka would bring us to local places he was familiar with, and we loved getting to try all different types of places! All in all our experience was a 10/10. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with so much to offer. BH Lanka made booking a breeze, and Chinthaka made our vacation into a dream come true. Do not hesitate to book with them and ask for him!

We had an amazing 8 day tour of Sri Lanka and we experienced a Christmas to remember bathing elephants and having a traditional lunch with a local family. Special thanks to our local guide Bhathi, with his knowledge of the areas we visited meant we experienced all that we could have possibly hoped for. Nothing was to much of an ask. From a quick detour to grab an amazing photo or a slight change in the days schedule to suit what we wanted to see more of. Every question we asked was answered enthusiastically and with great detail making drive and the trip very comfortable and like a friend was showing you around their favourite town. The accommodation and food inclusions, were for the most part very good. A couple of the rooms we stayed in were in need of minor renovations, however all in all they were comfortable and some exceeded expectations. We would happily recommend BH Lanka tours and especially Bhathi for a trip through beautiful Sri Lanka. And make sure to request Kamesh as your Yala safari guide, he went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the animals that could be found in the park.

After much research I booked a 14 day slendid adventure tour with BH Lanka. Their tour sure lived up to it's name and offered the best value for money whilst covering all the main highlights and much more. I received the full itinerary, hotel and activity details before my arrival. I was welcomed with a traditional Sri Lankan hospitality and so began my adventure. I would like to give a special thank you to my wonderful driver, Heshan. He was courteous and polite and maintained an excellent level of professionalism, ensuring I was safe and comfortable at all times. As a solo female traveller this is especially important in making a holiday a postive experience. Heshan was able to offer advice on good places to eat and shop and it was great to be able to rely on local expertise. My tour covered safari, beach days, hike up Sigiriya and visits to all the main temples and stupas, ancient sites and of course the iconic train ride from Nanu oya to Ella and visit Nine arch bridge. Main highlight was reaching the summit of Adams peak, a truly memorable experience. The tour company was fantastic in accommodating my needs as I had requested at very short notice to change a day in my itinerary. Sri Lanka is an amazing and beautiful country. The people are lovely and friendly and it is a trip of a lifetime!! The hotels was excellent and the food was amazing. Truly unforgettable experience and a once in a lifetime adventure with many memories to cherish. Would definitely recommend booking a tour with BH Lanka.

An amazing week with BH Lanka Tours and especially our tour guide Ravi who was outstanding and could not do enough to helps us and ensure we had a fabulous time in Sri Lanka. In August 2023, I experienced the Grand Tour with my family of five (50/48/21/18/12). Each of us had different expectations of this trip. Sri Lanka promised to offer something for everyone: Culture, history, religion, animals, flora and beaches. For us, this was our first trip to Asia, so it was very special. The booking with BH Lanka Tours worked very well, the communication and pick-up from the airport were hassle-free. We were able to experience this unforgettable trip with our guide Dananjaya. He was very open and always gave us good answers to all our many questions. Dana explained many things about history, religion and everyday life in Sri Lanka. In addition, he drove in a totally safe and very relaxed manner through the very unusual road traffic of Sri Lanka. We experienced many great, unforgettable and very special moments together, for example climbing the rock fortress Sigiriya, a temple visit with prayer, botanical garden, rafting (also a very good guide) and safari, but also shopping in small workshops and markets. I was particularly impressed by the friendly interaction of the many people and the peaceful temple ceremonies in Polonnaruwa. In addition, Dana always accompanied us helpfully and created a good atmosphere and harmony with small attentions. We had a lot of fun with him, so the whole family was happy. The choice of hotels was excellent and a good mix of different categories. Each hotel had its own charm. The people were very friendly and lovely. Unfortunately, the time was far too short for the many activities and charming places. So it would be advisable to stay a few days longer or just come back again. Our guide Chinthaka Silva was great! We were so well looked after. Even though the traffic in Sri Lanka is crazy we always felt safe as he is a very good driver. The car was always clean and drinking water was supplied daily. He was always punctual. The hotels were excellent and the food was superb. Chinthaka was very flexible and accommodating when we would change our itinerary. He went above and beyond in arranging an extra safari to see more elephants and also arranging another hotel for the night we leave the tour. Chinthaka is also very knowledgeable as he supplied all information needed and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend him and also BH Lanka tours. Great value

Very nice tour that shows you most of the main attractions of Sri Lanka with a knowledgeable and friendly guide who tries to fits everyone’s needs. Good quality hotels, good route, pace, private driver, always on time with his clean mini bus. A bit on the tourist path and pace, so for the ones who like it more local there is not too much time. Local food during lunch is possible, dinners are in the hotels (mostly buffets).
