With the busy ski season underway, it was very much appreciated to have Jun’s help with our rentals! She was simultaneously gracious and expedient. A gem to have in the shop. For Park Hyatt folks, this shop is half the price (though less convenient) than Diamond X. Recommend renting here for a few days and using the lockers at the ski valet.

There’s a shop inside selling snow and ski related stuff. This is also where u get your ticket for the lift and other activities. But it get snatched up pretty fast. So u gotta be fast. Tubing doesn’t need reservation but it is popular. Always sold out. There’s small playground inside for kids but it only opens at 4pm and 5pm. Surprisingly the ice cream sold by the kiosk inside is very nice. They serve nice drinks too.

I’m somehow extremely satisfied and somewhat disappointed at the same time. First, a bit of background. I never had access to winter sports, so I wanted to try snowboarding for the first time. I booked online, and indicated that I was a first timer from the drop-down on the registration page. As a first timer, I expected everything to be included for the price I was paying for a 2.5hr lesson. Everything from the booking screen onward, including the registration confirmation emails, didn’t mention anything about what to bring or expect. the good… pretty much everything after I got sorted at the activity center. The instructor was amazing, and super patient. Couldn’t be happier. The gear seemed well kept. I had a great half day on the beginner slopes. The bad… kind of everything on arrival. The lesson checkin desk had no clue what to do with a first timer, and since nothing during or after booking told me what to expect, I was shocked that I had to spend another 50% on top of my lesson price for rental gear, lift passes, and I actually had to buy goggles, which ended up being a helmet decoration, because as a first timer, I never actually hit speeds that justified putting the goggles over my eyes. Looking back at the “information” page on the website, most of this information is in the fine print, but again, this information was NOWHERE from the booking screen onward. Especially for a first timer, I just wanted a turnkey experience. I had to spend another US$150 after my instructor fee to make the day happen… and since I had already paid for my instructor, I had no choice. All of this should be much more clearly stated during and after booking, or even better yet, have a first timers package that includes everything needed to snowboard for the first time. As a complete noob, I had no clue what to do or expect, and I was shocked that my bill nearly doubled after I got to the activity center to make the day happen…

Very convenient for Niseko Moiwa but buses to/from Niseko Annupuri, and the rest of Niseko are available. Car is recommended as they have free parking and you can easily visit the hot springs in the area after a full day. Their food selection is average and slightly overpriced but if you stay over you have access to water cooker and microwave oven. Good for single travelers.

It was very organized and clean. Rental was very organized and modern seemed to have a wide variations of gears. The shop was really nice too. I had a small lunch there. Very affordable and delicious. Children can play at their inside play ground as well.

Perfect for small children. Took our 3 year old snow tubing here. Pros: magic carpet, fun tube trail, good restaurant with loads of things to eat. Con: expensive, but all ski resorts are and we expected that.
