Decent sized rooms, very comfortable beds, topnotch customer service, very clean, and best of all, being just a 5 minute walk from Kyoto Station make for an excellent experience. The only downside is that there is no restaurant within and nearby that is offering breakfast, but a Lawson is very close by (the hotel has a microwave) and Kyoto Station itself has restaurants that open early. The lobby also has a smoking room, vending machine (cold drinks only), laundry, and ice machines to add to the convenience.

As a first time guest, this hotel did surprise me with the comfort and convenience walking distance from Kyoto stations to here. There are plenty good and local restaurants nearby this hotel. Improvement- probably increase more washing and dryer machine as guest are always full and require to line up for laundry. Nice decoration and set up in rest area but most of the are not available like football board games and ping pong. By the way it won’t bother me to come again as the front desk are very friendly and polite. 👍

Rooms sizes are slightly above average and rooms are well insulated. What makes this hotel stand out is their bed. The mattress has the right amount of firmness accompanied by a very plushy and dry-to-touch bedding. What’s even better, the queen bed comes with 4 pillows of good quality, which is extraordinary for hotels in its price range in Japan.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Very close and convenient to the station. Staff was very friendly and they let us leave our luggage before check in and after checkout. Rooms were very clean and quiet. I felt safe and had a very good stay! The room size was on the smaller side but that is customary for Japan. I did not find the space much of an issue.

This hotel was a fabulous find for a too-brief overnight stay in Kyoto and only about 5-7 mins easy walk from Kyoto station. We have stayed in a number of hotels over a couple of weeks in Japan and this was perhaps the most western in style. Check in was seamless - we arrived a little early and we were able to leave our bags until we returned. We are extremely grateful to the very kind young lady who checked us in and helped us navigate our way to our tour departure point, including calling a taxi and directing the driver. Her English was excellent which was so helpful given our request wasn't ordinary and would have been tricky with Google Translate! We paid a few extra dollars to have a bigger room and it was by far the largest we have stayed in - big enough for a couch which is most unusual! Our favourite luxury was the shower cubicle (no bath) with a rainfall showerhead. While we didn't use the ground floor lounge facilities, they had the feel of a modern work environment with multiple furniture configurations as well as foosball and table tennis tables. Excellent value and exceptional service - you won't be disappointed by staying here.

Fantastic experience! Rooms are attractive and comfortable. The community space by the loby is convenient. Location is central. From the airport take the bus, not the Train as it drops you off a block away from the hotel. Windows have a complete blackout screen. Complementry comfy pajamas. Families with teens can get more than one room as the hotel is reasonably priced. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Beautiful modern hotel that caters to travelers who are on a budget and do not care with lots of amenities like breakfast and such. It’s mainly for sleeping. But everything was nice with a great lounge in the 1F to eat or play games. You can fetch some toiletries in 1F too. They have coin laundry as well which is around ¥700-¥800 but there’s only 2 machines so it’s quite crowded especially at night. They do have a sign which shows a nearby coin laundry too. The location is really nice though as it’s near Kyoto Station Shinkansen area.

The rooms are compact but clean. Check-in and check-out was easy and fast. Location is good if you plan on moving around all around Kyoto, but I wouldn't recommend staying here if you plan on spending most of your time in Kawaramachi area (in that case, just get a hotel from there. You might even be lucky and spot a geiko or maiko on their way to work in the evenings!)

Great price for the room and awesome location within walking distance to Kyoto station. Clean and well-equipped sleep area and bathroom. Friendly staff as well. Will definitely stay here for our next trip back to Kyoto.

Great location - very close to Kyoto station, but far enough that it's not loud or busy. The rooms are a bit small and were not too clean, but decent. Front desk staff are nice. Prices are also good.

Good size room for Japanese mid range hotel. Everything was clean and staff helpful. Bags can be securedly left after check out if you need to do a bit of sightseeing before leaving Kyoto. Location is close to JR Kyoto and good eateries within 5min walk. All in all a great stay.

Only about a 6min walk from the station and near to a mall! There’s plenty of food places around too. Each room was really cosy for two people, and they even have a laundry room and provided pajama sets for us as amenities! They have a really lovely and huge lounge area so you can sit to do your work and a laundry room! My friend left her airpods at the hotel and a few days later, called the front desk. They kept it for us, as well as our hanger! We went back to pick it up and the staff is very nice and accommodating as well! The roads are really quiet too so you can sleep well. We will come back here, the next time we come to Kyoto!

5 minutes from Kyoto station. With a cool manga store in front. Convenience store nearby. Also an airport bus stop. Plus!!! Cool lounge. I also love that they support sustainable travel.

New, modern and functional hotel that is about 5 mins walk away from the Kyoto Station. Check-in is swift, even though they have self check-in ability, as there were no other guests, the reception helped me to check-in nonetheless. Lift can only be activate via the room card which is kinda secured. The corridor from the lobby to the rooms are all carpeted with warm yellow lights which is very welcoming. Inside the room, everything is minimalistic. There is no wardrobe but just hangers by the wall. Small bathroom but easy to operate shower and toilet (note there is no bathtub for the room I booked). Bed is comfortable and I like the pillow. My room faces the street, which gave me a bit of "life" but its is not noisy as the street is a relatively quiet one. The lounge area by the window is very handy to just laze the time away or simply use it for your luggage area. Overall, the room is adequate for a short stay for couples. In addition, I will also like to add on that the Hotel lobby has a big co-working space with some games (ping pong table, foosball). It could be better if they can convert it into a bar area too. The hotel doesn't really provide luggage security after check-out. They do provide bicycle locks that you can chained your luggage to some hangers at the lobby floor. There are a couple of good restaurants just beside the hotel too and is very worth a visit.

The hotel is walking distance by the Kyoto station so it was quite convenient. There were a few restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Rooms itself were quite small, but everything was new and very clean.

Great value for money hotel. The rooms are not super big, but the layout was done well so it didn't feel too small for a 17sqm room. The lounge was definitely a winner. It's free to use almost the whole day except for breakfast time. It has nice tables and chairs for hanging out and also free water to drink.

Superb comfortable and high quality feel in the hotel. 5 stars hotel reception, helpful and friendly staffs, super comfortable beds and luxurious toilets. Very near to Kyoto station transport hub, food street and shopping malls within walking distance.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel mainly due to proximity to Kyoto station, about 5 mins walk only. Very nice lounge too. Our room is clean and big enough for our 4 luggage. Nice T&B also.

The room was clean and well designed although I stayed in a small room. The lounge area has nice seating areas for working. However, I could only find two washing machines for guests to use so I didn’t get a chance to use them as the my were always occupying when I checked. Another problem is the WiFi seems unstable and the internet could be slow at night time.

I had a super nice stay at this hotel. It’s a great location and decently close to everything. The staff are very polite and speak English quite well if you’re in need of English. The lounge area was really great for meeting other travellers and making friends. Super close to the train station which holds many options for lunch and dinner. Would highly recommend this hotel for travellers and backpackers looking to make friends.

I had a fantastic stay. Similar comments to others, I was surprised that the size was slightly larger than other hotels I’ve stayed in Japan. Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and the service is impeccable. They actually clean your room everyday and make your bed. After an unfortunate situation in Tokyo, I switched hotels last minute bc I was nervous about bed comfort, and could not be happier that I chose this place. Bed is so comfortable, they provide pajamas for guests to use, so close to train, great price, I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Rooms quite small, but counter staff speak good English and have good service. Location OK, short walk from Kyoto station with Kyoto city bus stops nearby. Special thanks to Miss Tsujiuchi for assisting us on many matters, and helping us to make a restaurant reservation!
