This
temple
stands
out
due
to
its
tall
five
storey
pagoda
that
you
can
see
in
the
distance.
However,
there's
more
to
see
with
two
halls
housing
large
altars
whereupon
sit
grand
Buddhist
statues
that
are
quite
a
spectacle
in
themselves.
Unfortunately,
it's
not
so
convenient
to
sit
to
admire
or
meditate,
nor
can
you
take
photos
at
the
altars,
so
you
tend
to
go
inside
the
two
halls
relatively
briefly.
The
temple
also
has
some
gardens
that
make
a
nice
enough
stroll
through,
but
there
are
better
gardens
at
other
famous
attractions.
The
temple
grounds
don't
seem
to
get
particularly
busy,
but
if
you're
in
the
area
and
are
interested
in
tall
pagodas
and
grand
altars,
then
it's
well
worth
a
visit.
You
can
grab
the
Toji
temple
only
ticket
or
the
combined
ticket,
which
gets
you
entry
to
two
nearby
attractions,
Homotsukan
museum
and
Shoshibo
temple.
