Have been going to Alestas everytime we visit North Cyprus for the past 15 years! Lovely family and the food is amazing. The restaurant looks amazing too. Can't fault this place. Their cigara borek, lahmacun and iskender is the best in the world in my opinion!

Update in 03 August 2023: we found the doner not like before as the filling was less and the taste was not like before. Lost 2 stars. Average doner now. Photos are old on this review.

Superb restaurant with good place to eat outside. Clean, green, quiet, good privacy, quick service. The dishes are not the biggest in the Cyprus but great taste. Everything is very fresh, you can smell it. Prices are competitive, good value for money. I can definitely recommend to go here with a family.

Great place to take your friends or family. Very clean. Nice food. Good prices . Very friendly staff. Especially owner Mr Ali. and his assistant Mr. Jamal. I liked the decorations but the food is amazing.

Alesta has been trading for more years than I care to remember.The owner is a charming man always welcoming and polite. Good honest Turkish food at affordable prices. Great little venue with a Fabulous hidden garden.

Nice kebab place. Here you can try many different types of delicious kebab and more. The restaurant is nice and it also has a very beautiful garden in which you can dine. The service is good.

Never had pide like that before. It looked like a stuffed pita bread. Tasty though, although I felt it needed sauce or moisture. Lovely decor in restaurant.

Unfortunately, the service has declined. In the past, the house service was a plate with dips and a piece of bread for everyone. The last time we ordered a plate of halloumi as a starter, bread didn't come for everyone and the dips were also left out. In addition, the waiter tried to clear the plate with the remaining pieces of halloumi.

Good food, good portions and good staff. Tried their Seftali Kebab and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size and taste. Reasonable prices too. Would go again.

The atmosphere in this place is brilliant,people that work there are friendly and the service is very good. The food especially the milkshake,orange juice,doner,lahmacun and kleftiko is delicious.

We had several meals here and all were very good. The staff were very attentive and polite. Helped the with with her choice as she has intolerances to onions, garlic and mushrooms. A very quirky decor greats you as you enter, helping give it a great atmosphere.

Lovely decor . On busy main road so sit outside at back. Had Adana kebab , good portions and service . Would recommend !

My service was dine in! Too long time passed after order even though too much employees were there both at the kitchen and customer area. My order was served very cold. Salads and potatos chips were very little. We were 13 persons and wanted to drink tea for Ikram and the guy who is the owner's son told us that it wasn't free and we were schok! Normally tea serves for free such a restaurant type in Cyprus. It was my first and the last time to visit there! Never ever!...

Back to Alesta for a mixed kebab and as always very tasty. A little bit of a shame that they don't provide a meze with the kebab, but other than that it was very nice. Friday evening is busy but still some tables free. Baklava is perfect desert to finish. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

My favourite place in Kyrenia! Don’t even know how many times we’ve been here during the 2 months we spent in Cyprus. Food is delicious and affordable, staff is alway welcoming and ambiance is calming with outstanding decor!!! Well done team!!

Setting is nice but food portions are getting ridiculous small. The last few times I was almost forced to order two kebab plates to feed me. Really small portion. I keep coming because it has a nice garden and although by the road it is quite calm.

We were very happy with the decision to eat here - and even more happy when the city lost power and they had a generator to keep the dinner party going :) the Kebap has a very unique and full flavour, and the lamb shank was extremely tender. Just a touch overpriced compared to other options in the area, otherwise perfect.
