I came to Ariana for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The food was very good - tender lamb, tasty rice and salad. The portions were quite large, I couldn’t even finish everything. The restaurant itself is nice, clean and quite. The prices are very fair and the staff members are helpful and polite.

What an awesome restaurant!!! Been here a few times and will be coming many more. Simple, full of flavour, delicious, restaurant quality but just like home-made with love meals. Whether it's your first time trying Afghan cuisine or you are a connoisseur, this is the place to be! I didn't know what to expect as it was my first time trying Afghan and I found it exceptionally good! The food was just amazing and it was also confirmed by someone who has eaten these in Afghan households. The safe, yet perfect ratio between salty, sweet, spicy, acid. If you ever tried any kind of Middle Eastern food, you will be able to identify the spices too! We had Mantu as appetizer, the mixed grill plate for 2 + 2 types of incredible rice, mango Firni for dessert, coffee and drinks. We could not eat everything as the portions were so big! We took away and even had a nice breakfast the next morning. We didn't wait for our table, the guy that was serving us spoke English and was very nice helping us pick the best dish. The location is central, close to the lake, tastefully decorated and the soft oriental music playing of the background felt very cozy. The total cost for 2 persons was fair considering the size of each dish, the drinks and the location! We were very very happy with our dinner spot! Thank you Ariana Restaurant!

Our first time trying Afghan food. We cannot say if it is authentic as we have never tried Afghan food before but we can say that it is really delicious! Nice service and reasonably priced lunch menu. Highly recommended.

The meat was delicious and tender. The rice was little too much and the salad portion was small. The bread was not fresh. But still 5 star because of the meat

Very tasty, but a little bit expensive , for my mind. Also they prefer cash instead of cards. But the staff was very polite, there was a short time to wait, everything was very fresh. Some discounts, and places would be full of people.

Been there a month back. Food is good, but service is quite slow. For a mittagessen on a Friday , it took us more than an hour. So definitely won't recommend for quick lunch. But fine dining, with family, yes.

Outstanding Afghan food with very generous portions and (for Hamburg) reasonable prices. The Bolani Kachalu was a revelation. I need to find out how it’s made!

The meal was delicious and for a very good price. We loved that there were traditional Afghan meals (a big variety of them) as well as some more European-like ones. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was a great experience.

First time having Afghan food, it was nice. Everything cooked to perfection. The lamb was tender and no smell. (I normally don't eat lamb because of the smell) The service was fast and friendly atmosphere. We definitely would come back.

The place is big enough to accommodate our big group of people who make a last minute reservation. The waiters speak good English and really helpful. Example I prefer rice over fries and she make the customise to me. Highly appreciate. It’s a non alcohol place. They serve with good food and halal meat

One of the delicious food I’ve ever had in this restaurant, everything was on point and the place was so cozy i felt home.

I had the Kabuli Pulao with grilled chicken and Bolani kachalu. The chicken was well-grilled, but the rice was way too dry. The Sharbat aubalu (drink) was refreshing. I have had way better authentic Afghani food than the one at Ariana.

Amazingly delicious food but 3 stars cause the waitress got my order completely wrong. Luckily whatever I had was delicious. The waitress also seemingly lied when asked if we could pay by card and said it'll take 10-15 minutes to sort our bill if paying by card when it actually only took about 1. Assuming this was an attempt to get us to pay with cash instead, despite us having already told her we didn't have cash (it's 2022 Germany...)

Over priced. The portion if without rise, the bread is one piece and not enough. Other restaurants have the choice of rice or bread. If you want extra separate rice it is alsoover priced. Chicken was chewy . The appetiser before food was one small tomato plate ,which is given to one person order or two. We were four at the table with the same one small plate. Service was good. Absolutely no logic in pricing. I will never come back.

Really good food. Homemade icetea. Dekor could be better and toilet's are not so nice. But definitely worth a visit for the food 😉

The Afghani Kebab and avocado salad with kebab were amazing. Waiting duration was short and they are serving breadcrumbs with sauce. I liked the place 💙

Great food and service. Was very tasty and satisfying! I had lamb and it was really tender and the Kirahi was so delicious well rounded dish.

The place and the staff are very friendly. The kebab there was amazing. For the rice I think this is the best rice I've ever eat in my life.
