This cafe was awful in terms of quality and staff! We ordered hot chocolate and cappuccino, all the cappuccinos were cold and also the hot chocolate tasted very bad and I got sick half an hour after drinking it! I do not recommend this cafe at all.

I went to cafe joyeux to have a hazelnut cappuccino on a very rainy and cold day with my friends, the coffee was cold and I had to ask them to reheat it, while waiting for the coffee outside the Cafe the workers there asked us to not stand outside the cafe and leave. It was very weird behavior and bad hospitality.

Not only a wonderful cause, but also the best coffee we found in Rennes!

Everything was just top. Enjoyed the quality of the coffee, viennoiserie, and orange juice. Kind and helpful staff.

Great coffee, salads, and pastries all served with a smile. Nice terrace when the weather permits and if it doesn’t, plenty of indoor space in an aesthetically pleasing dining room. Customer service was excellent!

Found it while walking around in search of a place to eat breakfast. They just had opened and were really friendly. While waiting just a short while for my breakfast, I looked up the restaurant and am really happy to have found a place with such a good mission on top of a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The music is also wonderful. It's definitely worth a visit.
