Finest service we experienced in La Cruz and Puerto Vallarta. It's too bad the food didn't keep up. Admittedly, the mahi mahi, tuna, and scallops tasted decent. But the shrimp fettuccine tasted bland. The octopus tasted bitter and rubbery to me. For the desserts, everything but the creme brulee tasted bad. My cheesecake had a chunky texture. The Napoleon had hardly any flavor. The key lime pie tasted way too sugary.

The food was delicious. Our waiter was top notch. Great ambiance.

We avoided this place for our first month because we thought it was overpriced, but we were so wrong!! Service and food are a 10/10, and the drinks are even better. Skip their house marg and opt for a martini or lemon drop. The tuna, veggies, and tempura were excellent. Don't skip dessert - cheesecake was our favorite la Cruz dessert yet

Wow New Years menu was set, which I understand, but….we received a spring mix salad as the first course because neither of us like oysters, this was the only choice, salad was minuscule and tasteless, second course was Tuna Tetake about a teaspoons worth, 3rd course was supposed to be lobster, they walked up to our table and said sorry we only have one lobster left? and? Waiter just stood there, I asked could you substitute a steak? He said yes, we shared the one small lobster and a very small steak, key lime cake, enough for 2 bites, we each had 2 glasses of wine, our bill for the two of us came to $300 CANADIAN, we are still in shock, not going there again EVER

Update 01-09-23 We went back one last time because the food is soo good. The service was very good and the food was a good as before. I think the problem may be with the holidays that we were trying to go to before. We will be back again after this very positive experience. This has to be the best restaurant with the worst service I have ever been to. The food is amazing but constantly having to stop a waiter just to order another drink gets old pretty fast. We have been twice because the food has been great but every time it feels like there just isn't enough people working. I will also say that we went on Thanksgiving and new years for the special dinners. It does seem like this shouldn't be an issue but it has been two different times now.

I had the shrimp with goat cheese ravioli. Personally, I would put a little less goat cheese in the ravioli, I would probably mix it with another cheese, as I felt it was a bit too strong for the dish. But very delicious. Otherwise! Excellent service, wow! Highly recommend.

We hired Julio to cater our vow renewal in Punta Esmeralda. The service and food have always been top notch and this wasn't any different. We loved our menu selections, the service, the wait staff were pure gems.

Terrible experience for New Year's Eve. It was a set menu for $85 USD each and I can't eat oysters so we were brought about a Tablespoon of Spring Mix with some vinegar on top instead then we were told that they ran out of Lobster so a tiny steak was brought in it's place. Our waiter then disappeared, I guess he left early for New Year's,? Sooooo disappointing for the price and food was not good st all.

One of the best restaurants in the bay, great food , great staff, have never had a bad meal there!

A must visit in La Cruz, the ambiance, staff, wine selection and food presentation were only the precursors to an amazing flavourful meal!! We will definitely be back!

Rack of lamb is excellent! Best restaurant in La Cruz and Bucerias area and better than most in Vallarta. Daily specials are a great deal! Everything I've tried has been excellent- salmon, dorado, tuna, duck, pork chop and steaks. Salads, appetizers and desserts are wonderful as well. If you want to try some of the best Mexican wines- they have them, just ask for advice.

Absolutely WONDERFUL great service and DELICIOUS FOOD.... everyone should trying twice just so they can tell them everybody how enjoyable it is

From the moment we entered, staff were there to seat us and provide menus. An excellent experience of both food and service. It is upscale food so a bit pricier than your taco bars or trucks. We first shared a tasty crab cake appetizer with wonderful flavors. I enjoyed the Surf and Turf. An excellent Filet Mignon with 6 perfectly prepared grilled shrimp. My wife loved the Paella full of fresh seafood. We will be back!

We first discovered this gem in 2013. Been coming back ever since. The four of us thought each or our meals were the best last week.

We had a wonderful experience tonight for dinner. Recommendations were given and both meals were as good as was told to us. Presentation was beautiful. I had the Tuna my husband the lamb. Service was great. Would highly recommend this restaurant! Thankyou we will definitely be back!
