In
short:
good
IMAX
room,
dirty
3D
glasses,
and
lack
of
numbered
seats.
Keep
reading
for
details.
Pros:
this
cinema
has
one
of
the
rare
(the
only?)
IMAX
screen
in
the
city.
The
image
and
sound
quality
were
as
expected.
In
particular,
all
the
speakers
were
at
the
same
volume,
which
is
too
often
not
the
case
(many
cinemas
lack
a
syllable
in
the
"all
around
you"
phrase,
which
is
simply
not
acceptable).
Con1:
they
gave
previously
used
and
very
dirty
3D
glasses.
They
do
provide
an
alcohol
swipe
with
it,
but
that
was
not
enough
to
get
them
clean.
Trying
to
get
rid
of
finger
marks
for
the
first
10
minutes
of
the
movie
was
a
terrible
experience.
I
had
spare
clean
3D
glasses
from
another
cinema,
but
they
were
not
compatible.
Con2:
this
cinema
still
has
free
seating,
which
means
you
need
to
arrive
very
early
to
get
a
good
seat.
For
the
IMAX
room,
you
end
up
standing
in
a
queue
outside
of
the
room
before
it
opens,
and
then
seating
through
15
minutes
of
advertisement,
which
is
like
paying
for
the
ticket
a
second
time.
That
makes
for
a
terrible
experience.
The
only
cinema
I
have
done
in
Paris
with
numbered
seats
is
Pathé
Beaugrenelle.
Since
your
seat
is
reserved,
you
can
arrive
20min
after
the
"beginning
time"
and
skip
all
the
ads.
Extra
observation:
the
cinema
felt
completely
deserted
on
a
Friday
night,
which
seemed
surprising.
