Rooms are very nice, the shower could’ve been a bit cleaner. The hotel branding is really nicely done and generally everything was clean. The rooftop pool is small… but since you’re directly by the sea you don’t necessarily need to use the pool. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. Directly behind the hotel is a big plaza with restaurants and bars so at night it was a bit loud (we were there over the weekend).

We had an awful night at this hotel (my wife, our 7 month old baby and myself). Due to the constant street noise, we could hardly find any sleep despite earplugs and pillows on our heads - though it was Wednesday and not friday or saturday. In addition, the rubbish bin in the bathroom was still full from the previous guests and a lot of hair, dust and dirt were present in the room. Better acoustic insulation is required/mandatory in rooms facing the larger street! I often work in international hotels, but I've never had such a bad experience. We got a significant discount, but it doesn't make up for the terrible night at all. Actually, I was looking for a family-friendly and quiet hotel and must have been misled by the positive reviews. We will definitely never come back, although the staff was very friendly (the only star was awarded for this). A night to forget. We like Toulon, through which we had to walk in a daze and headache the next day, very much and are very sad about the shocking hotel experience. A hotel is first and foremost a place to sleep. For us, this one failed to achieve its primary goal. We are also used to the big city life because we live in Hamburg, but the noise level in the hotel room was unacceptable. I was referred to the manager twice and wanted to speak to her, too. Nevertheless, she was excused in each case. I am 100% behind this rating and open-minded towards inquiries!

Nice nautical themed hotel in the port area of Toulon. Staff are friendly, rooms are quite big, the pool is quite small and has to be booked. But it’s on the roof with amazing views. Close to everything needed for a nice city break.

Brilliant! This hotel ticks all our boxes. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely airy spacious room with great views, and a very good restaurant. We would definitely stay again.

Great location and very chic ambience. Samuel on reception was exceptional. I was expecting the swimming pool to be bigger and there isn’t a contre courant.

The deco was nice and the staff was friendly, but overall didn't have the impression of a 4-star hotel. More like a very good 3-star hotel. Pool area was very small. Finding the parking space was frustrating as box numbers were disorganised and boxes very narrow. Great location for visiting the city though. Lots of bars and restos just outside the hotel.

Bad, the room below expectations . Different from the photos. Was on the first floor with views, to a roof. The room big but with small twins bed. With little furniture. The minibar was free but with only fresh water. The bathroom with a bad smell, the mirror in hole without light and far from lavatory like a ikea mirror. The acess and place to the parking a terror movie.

Surprisingly nice hotel, right next to the port with a lot of cool bars and restaurants right outside.

Simple fantastic- great location. Loved the modern rooms all in maritime style (good quality) young and attentive staff at front desk, great breakfast Toulon has been a pleasant surprise - will definitely come again. Lovely old town area in the old port

I stayed at L' Eautel for a week in June and was quite content with this hotel. My room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly. L' Eautel is in a great location. It’s just a short walk to the harbour or the trainstation. The hotel is in the centre of town. The surrounding squares can get busy on summernights. If you’re looking fort he perfect quiet it’s probably better to find a different place. There’s a small pool on the roof of the hotel. I loved the nautical themes that are used in the interior design all through the hotel. All-in all I had a great stay.

Very clean hotel with great amenities, good location next to the port, very friendly and helpful staff. Also great atmosphere in the courtyard behind the hotel which could be heard from the back rooms

The staff provide exceptional, friendly and professional service. Rooms are compact, clean and tastefully decorated. Extensive choices at breakfast. Excellent location right on the waterfront. Highly recommend this hotel.

I love staying at this hotel, the room was great, so was the location. The service was good, but we ran into a few issues: the key cards kept being demagnetized. Every day we had to go to the front desk to fix it. The toilet light has a motion sensor no switch. Its timer is very short so very often you end up in the dark. On the location side, everything is walkable, stores, markets, cafés bars... I find that the breakfast offering is ok, but overpriced (I only used it once). You can easily find what you need for half of the price. (The hotel asks 22.5 euros per person per breakfast). On the place l'équerre, behind he hotel, there are restaurants and bistros, one of which belongs to the hotel, and many more within walking at the port/marina. It gets noisy at night, bring ear buds.
