Book this hotel based on the ratings on google... room was great. Stayed at pavillon B. Book 1 night via booking and second night direct at the property.. 2 issues with room. Phone not working and did not have shower gel at all. Despite reporting it to the front desk staff and they said they cannot do anything as the whole mechanism of the shower gel box is missing.. they gave us soap to shower. Extended the second night and was expecting some kind of gesture on the pricing, so some manager name Flore, said no gesture as solution was provided...soap was given. ???? We stayed 2 nights and no one cleaned the room....i do not understand why.. yet you pay the public price....i do think thst they do not value their customers...

I booked a room at "le Petit Manoir du Casino Pointe-au-Pic" three months before our trip through Expedia.ca. A week before the trip, I noticed that the room information that the hotel sent me did not match the information on Expedia. I tried to explain to the hotel staff over the phone, and unbelievably he hung up the phone without any help to the customer, and when I brought my complaint to the hotel general manager, she refused a simple apology and tried to justify her employee's behavior. The general manager rejected my request. She tried to show that the room information she sent me was the same room I had booked on Expedia. While the name of the rooms, the size of the beds and the location of the rooms were completely different. Thenks to Expedia for fully supporting my request. They forced the hotel to respond and give me a room that I had booked. In all the long emails the hotel gereral manager sent me, I couldn't find any words how they are sorry or show they made a mistake about the room. Customer can understand that there may be a mistake in the information or reservation, but somehow the hotel management was very unprofessional for such a simple problem. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone and I strogly suggest to not go there. You will get nothing except rudeness and trouble. Positive: The hotel is located in a very nice place in Malbaie.

Service was terrible. As a family with 2 little kids the service staff was unfriendly throughout the whole stay (Spa, Restaurant, Front desk) Extremely disappointing to experience this as a QC resident.

The hotel left us 2 days without hot water in the room. Not acceptable for a 4 stars hotel and for such a price.

Bed is a bit hard and pillow and covers uncomfy. Rooms are big but empty. A bit noisy as well.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel is simple but nice, would need a little TLC in the cleanliness of windows and hallway carpets. The spa is in need of big repairs. Some features didn't work or are missing. Nice view of the river from inside. Restaurant very nice, important to know reservation required. Located on a hill side, in narrow streets, a bit complicated to navigate.

Excellent hotel on the mountain with a fantastic river view, the spa was a beautiful bonus!

A nice and beautiful place to stay in La Malbaie. The hotel is located in the center of many activities and the sea view is breathtaking! Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The restaurant Les Délices serves delicious food for reasonable prices!! We really enjoyed our stay!! Thank you

Stayed at this hotel while in town for UTHC. I arrived at 2 pm, with two children in tow and went to the desk to see if by chance the room was available (but would understandably pivot if it was not). However the room was ready! It was very clean and had a fridge, bain tourbillon and a beautiful view of the water. We decided after a little while to go to the family spa, only to find it was closed for maintenance. We inquired at the front desk and they told us we could use the main spa (16+). They greeted us enthusiastically at the spa and given that we knew it was a special circumstance, my kids were respectful and kept the volume down. They actually thoroughly enjoyed their first spa experience! 😅 The spa needed some maintenance overall (2/3 pools were open), random flickering lights but all in all, a great experience. The hotel staff at check in and checkout was extremely courteous and we will definitely be back the next time we are in La Malbaie! Merci énormément!
