My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Belle de Nuit. We were in Wakefield for a wedding, and came across this gem! We spent the weekend in the I love Venice room. The room was exceptional! Very clean, had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. And of course, the best part was our private hot tub facing the exposed granite rock. It's also a short walk down to the river where you can enjoy eating and drinking at a number of restaurants. I highly recommend this Inn. Thank you Claude for a gorgeous weekend getaway.

After an oversight totally on my part , we were beyond accommodated at the Inn. I arrived a day early! Without hesitation, Claude was able to open up his Inn, the same room I had booked , allowing a seamless stay for the family wedding. His attention to detail and hospitality did not go unnoticed. I would love to return again and experience the winter in Wakefield at the Inn. Thank you for a relaxing experience.

Wakefield is such a pretty village winding down a spectacular river and this inn is a gem. Had a lovely dinner in the village, a short walk along the river to the inn where we enjoyed a private hot tub. The host was thoughful, the room was spotless and tasteful. Everything was perfect

Set in beautiful, quiet surroundings, this auberge is a true treasure. The rooms are well appointed, with a very comfortable bed, and kitchen. The coffee, roasted by the owner, is excellent. Each room has a private patio with a bbq and a hot tub. The host, Claude, is most charming and welcoming. Highly recommend a stay!

A fantastic little get away location in a wonderful little town. I and my girlfriend spent a wonderful night in the Tuscany suite and exceeded our expectations. Beautiful building, all the amenities one could ask for, and a private hot tub to relax ourselves in. We managed to come at a relatively quiet time, so there was no disturbances from other tenants, and the place itself is tucked away on a quiet street. The quality and comfort of the rooms rival and exceed what most standard hotels would offer for similar prices. Of course the hostess was a pleasant and friendly individual who certainly cares about her business and well being of her customers. owners keep the place in tip top shape and we had zero issues. we certainly hope to visit Wakefield again in the future and would absolutely love to stay here again, worth the money. Check it out if you ever plan to stay in the area, beautiful tourist location, and certainly feels like a small bit of home away from home.

stayed for a night for a birthday getaway. fantastic, well kept bed and breakfast. very clean, both in the lobby and room itself. we added the romance package and although the weather prevented us from enjoying the fire pit, the private hot tub was really all we needed.

We booked the Venice room for the fire pit, BBQ and hot tub with the intention of some late April meteor shower night watching. It was cloudy and drizzly pretty much the whole time, so instead of sky watching we enjoyed our private backyard facing a wall of igneous rock and a towering forest—perfect for bird watching. Lucie was a gracious host and kept us fuelled with firewood. The fire pit and hot tub (larger than it seems in the photos!) kept us warm. It’s a very short walk to the general store and bakery to stock up. Recommended.

We stayed in the New York room. The room was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The hostess went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The room and the foyer were spotless. It is very evident that the owners take pride in their establishment. I would highly recommend this beautiful spot to anyone travelling to Wakefield!

We recently spent 2 nights in the "Paris" room and it was all-round lovely! Our host Claude was very kind and attentive. The room was very clean and had eveything we needed for a great stay (especially the excellent coffee!). The hot tub was well maintained and made for a great spot to relax after a busy day of activity. This was not our first stay at Belle de Nuit and certainly won't be our last.

We rented all six rooms of the Inn for our family to stay during our wedding. The location was very convenient in Wakefield, walking distance to everything. The grounds around the Inn are very nice, so much so that we decided to take some of our wedding photographs outside of our room. The rooms are well appointed and Claude's home roasted coffee is a welcome way to start the day. Claude himself is efficient and greeted us on check in to show us around.

My husband and I just had a great anniversary getaway at Belle de Nuit and couldn't be happier. The room (Paris je t'aime) was beautiful and perfectly clean, and the inn is just a gentle 10-min walk from the restaurants and shops. We paid for early arrival and late check-out and found it well worth it as we had time for three dips in the private outdoor hot tub, which was spotless and the perfect temperature. The Inn doesn't have vegan breakfast options, but it does have a full kitchen and coffee maker so we had a great little breakfast that we packed and cooked. And as of this writing (for anyone interested), there are vegan options at at least three of the local restaurants: Café le hibou, the Village House, and Ixim. Wakefield and Belle de Nuit both made for a lovely getaway and I expect we'll be back! Merci, Claude et Lucie!

We had a wonderful stay at the Belle de Nuit. Courteous staff, nice rooms and well situated with respect to the main commercial strip and hiking trails. We were in the Tuscany room and it was comfortable and clean, had a convenient kitchenette and hot tub. Would highly recommend.

I have had the opportunity to rent the Paris room at this beautiful inn. The main feature for me with this room is the private hot tub. This was not my first time renting at this inn. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating making sure you have the best possible stay.

We had a wonderful mini-getaway at La Belle Nuit. It was so relaxing and quiet, the best place to escape. Comfy beds, really nice to have kitchen facilities, friendly service and plenty of parking. Would visit again!
