    Nice, very nice beach. We loved it and we'll be back. It's also nice to stroll or ride your bicycle along the sea towards Les Boucholeurs.

    Plan your visit during high tide, otherwise you'll have plenty of mud during low tide. Very nice sand, no rip tide, able to stand up for a hundred meters away from shore. Showers nearby, paid parking or free of you walk a couple blocks. Jellyfish possible during hot weather.

    Best beach we came across in greater La Rochelle area. 30 minutes by bus. Large and very clean. Very good market with stalls the day we visited in August 2022. Beaches at La Rochelle were small and covered in stones. We'll worth the bus trip. Buy the weekly bus pass ...very good value and also covers water buses.
