Unfortunately the habitat has not seen maintenance for quite a while now. A few animals including the casowarys, a tree cangaroo, bird of paradis and the famous saltwater crocodile aggro are still there. The friendly staff is very helpful and happy about visitors still coming in.

The habitat consists of beautiful animals of a variety of species in Papua New Guinea. A pleasant place to understand the animal kingdom of this country.

Environment and Waste Management is one of my important and profession Spies geologist surveys, and heritage I consider setting up camp in remote for studies. Logistics: Helicopter, radio communication, camp supervision, in-house training and managing.

A nice place to visit... Unfortunately over the past years less upgrades haven't been done and I am seeing it falling apart in the next 10 years.. The authorities must go back have a look and save the Beauty of the place..

It's a fun place to take your family and friends there to have fun, plus you get to see animals like crocodile, snakes, butterflies, cuscus, birds, etc... You may also learn about animal breeding, insect farming and such. Wedding ceremonies are also hosted there, so if you're looking for a place to say your vows---Rainforest Habitat is one of those places.

It's a rural village and situated away from the town. Sorrounded by jungle with clear crystal fast flowing rivers/creeks. You get to observe different species of birds while bush trekking. Friendly people.

A beautiful place I would say. It's like a mini rainforest inside Lae City.

They need to fix this place. The Morobe Provincial Government should look into it to restore the place. It is the heart of Morobe City and this place needs up-grade.

Should have rated 5 stars but I give 3 because it needs maintenance. Quite peaceful with natural environment..

Quiet Scenery wildlife conservation Habitat. Open for functions, conference, or just for a tour. There's an affordable guest house available for those who wish to sleep over

A Guest House that is a bit shabby but clean. The bathroom needs maintainence as well as the corridor floor. The kitchen is a little shabby but functional. Guests can cook their own meals and store food in the refrigerator. The staff however are a bit noisy as they bring their family members to use the kitchen facilities etc and often times make too much noise for convenience sake despite being very friendly. There's room for improvement.

A beautiful place to observe native animals and some historical remains. The place is also good for barbecue and other gatherings. It is more secured because it is in the perimeter of the school. The place is save and free as long as you abide by the rules of the habitat.

No proper management hence, the once-seen beautiful habitat now has already lost its beautyness. Also the number of visits-by people-per week is also declining..

Always loved going there as a kid but i really it gets renovated soon so it can be up to par with Port Moresby's very own Nature Park.

👍👍 Have been to the Lae Botanical Gardens 3 times now. Twice for SME Markets and once for Adventist Community Services Craft Market. The gardens are used to host events, especially the craft markets. A lovely, natural habitat to relax and be close to nature with the trees around.
