The
hospital
is
nice,
but
the
Moommong
Shop
inside
is
VERY
unprofessional!
--
They
sold
me
the
most
expensive
high
index
glasses
lenses
that
are
exactly
WRONG
for
me.
I
explained
to
them
my
problems
but
they
either
ignored
me
or
have
absolutely
no
idea
what
they
are
doing.
35
000
THB
on
glasses
that
are
useless.
Yes,
I
will
be
returning
them.
--
For
comparison,
I
have
a
pair
of
old
glasses
(from
a
different
shop
in
Thailand).
They
are
perfect,
cost
a
fraction
of
the
cost,
and
yes,
the
same
prescription.
My
reason
for
going
to
Rutnin
was
to
push
the
boundaries
of
perfection.
It's
not
that
there
is
something
wrong
with
the
product,
it's
that
it's
the
WRONG
product
for
me.
I
truly
don't
care
about
the
price
as
long
as
I
get
the
best
possible
product
for
my
needs.
The
"high
index"
glasses
they
sold
me
are
sharp
ONLY
in
the
very
middle,
but
blurry
and
distorting
on
the
sides
and
top/down.
I
have
experienced
this
with
other
glasses.
I
explained
to
them
that
I
need
glass
lenses
that
cause
minimal
distortion.
Some
people
don't
mind
this
because
they
are
thinner
and
lighter,
but
I
do
mind
this
because
it
makes
them
unusable
for
computer
work.
If
I
look
straight,
the
text
in
the
corners
of
the
monitor
will
be
noticeably
blurry.
I
was
overly
clear
in
explaining
this.
--
My
old
glasses
don't
have
this
problem
at
all.
I
explained
to
them
that
I
need
glass
lenses
that
cause
minimal
distortion.
The
staff
insisted
these
lenses
are
the
best
choice.
Yet,
I
got
the
lenses
that
causes
the
most
peripheral
distortion.
Reading
about
these
lenses,
they
are
exactly
NOT
recommended
for
me.
There
was
no
language
barrier.
I
explained
for
them
for
30
minutes
my
experiences
and
requirements.
The
staff
spoke
English
well
but
I
asked
my
wife
to
translate
to
thai
anyway.
I
explained
to
them
clearly
that
I
came
to
Rutnin
exactly
because
recently,
another
shop
had
no
idea
what
they
where
doing.
--
The
staff
also
insisted
NOT
to
add
anti-glare
coating,
something
that
high
index
lenses
should
have.
They
insisted
to
NOT
get
any
special
coatings
such
as
anti-smudge,
anti-fog
etc,
which
was
weird
to
me.
Instead
they
claimed
these
lenses
were
good
enough.
That
too
is
a
complete
lie.
The
glasses
glare
very
much.
Unfortunately,
I
did
not
know
about
the
issues
with
high
index
glasses
at
that
time.
--
But
that's
why
you
go
to
the
most
reputable
and
know
eye
hospital,
right!?
To
have
professionals
help
you.
It
took
me
exactly
15
seconds
of
Googling
to
understand
why
my
new
glasses
are
horrible;
and
an
additional
2
min
to
find
these
issues
are
very
well
known
and
opticians
don't
recommended
for
people
like
me.
The
reason
I
accepted
ordering
those
lenses
was
because
I
did
not
know
know
then
what
I
know
now,
and
because
Moommong
claimed
those
lenses
were
the
best.
At
least
3
staff
were
involved
in
helping
me
selecting
frames
and
the
best
possible
lenses.
There
was
no
reason
for
me
to
doubt
"professionals".
Now
I
got
my
new
glasses
by
mail
and
the
peripheral
distortion
are
comically
bad.
--
I
want
to
repeat:
The
hospital,
nurses
and
doctor
were
all
nice
and
professional.
It
is
the
Moommong
"By
Rutnin"
glasses
shop
inside
Rutnin
that
are
horrible.
