Great place. Plenty of parking in the back. A lot of seating space. They were busy but managing. Drinks were strong and food is to die for. Absolutely delicious burgers and their whipped feta is BOMB. Great music, amazing atmosphere. Service was great, friendly, nice, polite. Overall great place

My wife and I shared the artichoke dip for an appetizer . For my meal, I had the starred restaurant favorite bacon turkey sandwich. I had the $6 beer of the month which is pint size. The place had lots of people and lively atmosphere. When we got seated, our waiter didn't stop by for like 10min and remarked surprised when he saw us. Food was pretty good.

O'toole's is a northern Illinois staple for tasty food, service and a great time! Oddly enough, this is the first time I've tried their Bloody Mary and it did not disappoint. Just as full of flavor as I have come to expect from this establishment. The only thing I wasn't super happy about was the tater tots were a bit bland. With that said, it didn't stop me from enjoying everything else... And yes, I finished the tots also. Haha If you're looking for a great food experience, I would 100% recommend any of the 4 locations.

We really enjoyed our visit to O'Toole's. Very generous portions that were incredibly flavorful and served by a great staff in a fun location. Thanks for making a road trip even better on a random stop that turned out awesome. All the food was well prepared but the french onion soup was fantastic!

I tried a few times this legendary place in Libertyville… and I left always thinking the same. Not for me. The 4 stars are 89% for the staff. Dedicated, precise, fast, kind and profesional. Even the summer kids that they hire temporarily are nice! Good job! However… I find myself screaming to be able to communicate because the noise inside is always super loud. And then there’s the food… it’s just fine… for what the place is, I feel it could be slightly better. Nothing special. We ordered the fries with the beef and it was cold on the sides and just warm in the center. My wife got the fish with rice and I got to try it; that was better. I guess the rest of the stars go for the wide variety of beers… They have been in business since 1982, so may be time to review their kitchen… it would make a huge difference. They have trivia Tuesday’s and a ton of events which is what makes you come back. Drinks and events. Other than that, am going to wait for the food to improve before am back.

I threw my wife a surprise birthday party here on November 20th and it was amazing. Thank you so much to Brittany who was an awesome host that spoke with me more than multiple times to get all the details right. She has a great personality and thought of every detail down to have the blinds close dto the room so no one could be seen! She had great ideas and suggestions as well. Even took an impromptu meeting with me when I popped up at the restaurant unscheduled and helped me plan all the appetizers for the event. We had a good showing of about 30 people and appetizers came out promptly at 3:30 and there was nothing to be desired. The server, I think her name was Jessica (sorry ma'am!), was great. The reason I went with O'toole's, is because they were very flexible in the planning. The times were open, I could have made a personal menu but I chose to use their menu, they allowed individual checks/couples/families which other establishments wouldn't, and the room fee was very very affordable for a party of this size in comparison to other local and well-known places in the area that charge a room fee seven times the amount I paid at O'toole's. Meals were very good, for a party of my size they brought everything out in a reasonable time. Highly recommend and would definitely do it again. The room we had, I don't know the name, but it was awesome very elegant and was very nice for the event.

We had a great taco, nachos and delicious happy hour Margareta. Portions were larger than expected, so we could have ordered less food. Bartender was a nice guy. We will be back to try new things.

After visiting Timothy O’Tools in Libertyville and speaking with the event coordinator, Gabriel, my fiance and I were impressed. The venue provides an entire floor that has plenty of seating for our guests. A large bar with a stage and catering area is provided with comfortable seating near a fireplace. The venue offers a warm welcoming that gives a great celebration environment for any occasion. Definitely a great place to have gatherings of any kind. We’re very excited to have our wedding here and highly recommend booking events at this location. It’s located in the downtown of Libertyville, IL. A great place surrounded by other places to visit for food and beverages. When the weather is warm and beautiful, this is a great place to enjoy sitting in their outdoor dining area, which is screened in. If you’re looking to book an event here, highly recommend contacting Gabriel. She’ll do everything she can to help accommodate your special occasion. She doesn’t charge for renting the venue. This is a win-win for everyone!

I came here on an early Sunday afternoon with a friend. The place was packed, including the outdoor patio. We ate at the bar and couldn’t have enjoyed the experience more. There were many TVs with Chicago baseball on, a great selection of draft beers, the bartender was very friendly, and the burgers were outstanding! I think I have a new home away from home.

Wonderful service by entire staff, even though the place was fairly crowded. The burger selection is wild, so many unique options, but also the make your own is great for those that are picky. Needless to say, the number of beers on tap is perfect for every taste. We've been there numerous times and will continue for years to come.

We had my daughter’s baby shower at Timothy O’Toole’s in the private room upstairs. What an amazing experience it was. Jennifer and her staff we so professional, helpful and fun. The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely would recommend to anyone having a celebration.

Very nice place! Fresh and flavorful food. Baja fish tacos were really good. Great beer selection and the atmosphere at the patio was really nice! Server was kind and friendly! Will definitely come back!

Amazing food! We always look for places we can take our pup but usually that means bars with OK food. This place has amazing food and is dog friendly. The ambiance is very cute too. This is the “fanciest” dog friendly place I’ve been to. We drive here from Chicago and have become regulars because the food and service is excellent. This is a gem Their soup of the day hasn’t missed a beat. I really like their Poke bowls too!

We had a long day of traveling and my husband and I were hungry to say the least. I had the teriyaki bowl and it had lots of great flavor. My husband had the mushroom bowl and he really enjoyed it. We both enjoyed the flatbread appetizer and it was good as well. Great service and atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the experience was less than exciting. A small group of us showed up at 3pm on a Wednesday to have a few drinks and food. The gentleman who greeted us was less than pleased that we were there, he was clearly put off that we didn't call ahead. His attitude was less than pleasant. Luckily for us, it was close to end of shift and ended up with a very pleasant waitress. Its not likely we will return any time soon.

Mushroom bowl was pretty gross, but I wanted to try something new. The garlic ginger wings were dry. Our service was slow AF, even though we got there early enough for happy hour. But alas, my drink and the 1/2 order of nachos were absolutely great!

Nice local place to catch a band on the weekends. It sometimes gets too crowded where you’re waiting 20-30 mins to get a bartender’s attention to get a drink, so when you do be sure to order two. Other than that, it’s a good good place — and would be better if they would hire another bartender.

We come here way more than we probably should. The outdoor eating atmosphere is truly unique. Jessica is probably the only server anywhere whom we've ever special requested to sit at one of their tables. She's the best. Highly recommend!

This place has several burger options, my choice was the blue cheese with bacon. I also had the French Onion soup which is a house staple here. You must try it if you're a French Onion soup person. It is highly recommended. My wife got one of their many bowls. I believe hers was a chicken, but cannot recall for sure. This is a nice place and the food is great.

Huge selection of beer and friendly staff. I highly recommend their Michigan Avenue salad( you can add your choice of protein) Want to catch the game? Hangout with friends? Business dinner? Romantic dinner? O'toole's got you covered.

I absolutely loved this Restaurant Bar. The host was kind to give us our preferred seat, take care of our baby stroller and our server was also very knowledgeable and kind to make good recommendations. We had a couple of drinks and Nachos. I didn’t like the Flatbread. But Nachos were good. They have a great collection of Cocktails and Mocktails and beers on Draft.

We recently went to O’Toole’s for drinks and appetizers. We had a good time at this place. The waitress was nice and also very patient with us. Someone in our group broke two glasses during our time and the waitress quickly cleaned up the mess and brought new drinks. I would definitely come back.

Super friendly staff, cozy covered patio, and interesting stuff on the menu = nice spot for a late lunch! I ordered the salmon burger, and appreciated that the side of tots was NOT huge... the "burger" patty was a bit odd, though, like it was made with canned salmon & breadcrumbs when I'd been expect something a bit more fresh and juicy. Next time, will try something else.
