The
gym
itself
is
fine,
however
they
changed
my
contract
and
extended
it
to
2022
without
me
signing
it
or
giving
permission.
I
am
in
the
process
of
trying
to
cancel
my
current
membership
because
I
do
not
feel
safe
going
to
a
public
gym
at
this
time.
I
even
considered
coming
back
to
Just
Move
once
the
pandemic
was
over.
I
only
had
2
months
left
of
my
membership,
but
it
was
set
to
auto-renewal
and
the
only
way
to
cancel
that
is
to
send
an
email
or
a
letter
in
writing
to
their
finance
company,
ABC
Financial.
I
have
done
that
and
I
waiting
for
a
response.
In
the
process
of
this,
I
received
an
email
saying
they
would
lower
rates
or
add
an
amenity
and
that
the
lower
rate
would
be
guaranteed
for
24
months.
All
I
had
to
do
was
fill
out
a
Google
Form.
No
where
on
this
google
form
did
it
say
that
a
new
contract
would
be
written
out
or
that
I
would
be
locked
in
to
an
additional
2
years.
There
were
no
terms
or
conditions.
I
went
ahead
with
the
lower
rate
because
I
figured
I
only
had
2
months
left
of
the
contract
once
they
verified
my
cancellation
of
the
auto-renewal.
I
then
receive
an
email
with
a
new
contract
extended
my
membership
through
2022.
I
never
signed
off
on
this
contract
and
it
is
already
been
put
through
their
systems.
It
looks
like
the
sales
person
was
Dana
Mansfield.
I
have
tried
emailing,
calling
the
gym,
leaving
voicemails,
and
calling
their
finance
company.
The
gym
never
answers,
and
when
I
call
the
finance
company
they
said
I
have
to
wait
for
them
to
email
back
and
they
can't
do
anything
about
the
contract
and
that
I
have
to
talk
to
the
gym.
I
don't
believe
its
legal
for
them
to
move
forward
with
a
contract
I
never
signed
off
on
or
agreed
upon.
I
am
at
my
wits
end
and
will
not
be
coming
back.
I
plan
on
sending
the
finance
company
the
amount
to
buyout
for
my
membership
and
then
block
them
from
collecting
any
more
money
off
my
card.
I
know
that
everyone
is
short
staffed
right
now,
but
this
is
ridiculous.
I
would
not
have
cared
as
much
if
the
new
unsigned
contract
had
not
come
through,
or
if
anyone
could
answer
my
calls
or
give
me
some
answers.
I
was
on
hold
for
10
minutes
with
their
finance
company
after
I
explained
what
had
happened
and
she
said
I
just
had
to
wait
for
an
email
to
come
through
from
them.
No
explanation
as
to
why
there
is
a
new
contract.
I've
post
a
screenshot
of
the
form
that
they
asked
me
to
fill
out
for
lower
rates.
Earlier
in
the
year
they
had
an
opt
in
program
to
lower
rates
while
the
gym
was
closed
and
that
did
not
require
a
new
contract,
so
I
was
under
the
impression
this
would
be
the
same.
Beware
if
you
are
trying
to
get
out
of
a
membership.
