I was looking after a friends cat who needed to see a vet. They took me the next day and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. They really treat you like you’re family!! The owner of the cat I was looking after will now be bringing both of her kitties here. I personally also brought my new kitten in a week later for her 2nd booster and again had a wonderful experience. The staff are so kind, patient and accommodating and the facility is Gorgeous!! The team at North End Animal Hospital are incredible! The service is great and you can tell that the staff are passionate and truly care about their patients. We have been bringing our dog here for almost a year, and the staff is always great about answering any questions or concerns we may have. Truly a fantastic vet office!

North End Animal Hospital is great! I took my cat to get a health check and rabies vaccine recently. They were incredibly professional and were really helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. Dr. Bell was so caring and good with my little guy, and made him feel extremely comfortable. The visit was quick and easy, and they even offered me water in the waiting room. The prices were very reasonable. If I was staying to live in Halifax, I would definitely take my cat there again. I have been taking my cat called Dorian Grey since last year here. But unfortunately he had several healthy issues and we had to put him down. I have nothing to complain about this hospital, excellent service and lovely staff. They always treated me and my little friend with respect and doing always everything they can to make him feel better. I do appreciate Dr. Bell and Dr. Hagget, you were great. I would definitely recommend.

If I could give North End Animal Hospital more stars, I would. They are an extremely caring group and my dog is actually excited to go to the vet (if you can believe it!). Whenever I have needed an appointment they have been able to see me quite quickly. You never feel as though you are being rushed and the veterinarians take the time to fully explain everything to you. They even call after your appointment to see how things are going and are amazing at following up if you have additional questions. I would recommend North End Animal Hospital to anyone who is in need of a vet for their pets!

My puppy’s first visit was amazing. Dr. Bell made both of us feel comfortable and welcomed. Excellent service and the prices are very fair and reasonable! Will definitely recommend. I’m happy that I found a place where my dog can get quality care!

We have become huge fans of this clinic in our household of 1 dog and 1 cat. Great for regular checkups and shots but also great for bigger issues. Our cat who is 12 had dental surgery here last year with Dr. Haggett and she was marvellous. I also received updates from a really caring and attentive vet tech who I believe was named Candice. Our dog is a rescue from the Dominican republic and came with erlichia. He had his first flare up and Dr. Bell was able to diagnose and treat the flare up. It’s an ongoing situation but I’m super happy with the care received. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been professional and kind and treated my pets with care. They even do frequent follow up phone calls and are always happy to answer questions. Can’t recommend this vet hard enough.

He was the one of the *perfect best ever* sweet lovers ever. I rescued him when he was 9-ish and have made sure he’s lived in the lap of luxury for this past 5 1/2 years I’ve been blessed with being his mom. I am heartbroken, but I must give an ocean of gratitude to North End Animal Hospital. They were just so kind, and sweet to both of us. Highly recommend ❤️

My puppy unfortunately has crippling anxiety, and it was hard to find a vet that was actually willing to listen to my partner and I’s concerns about her behaviour. North End went above and beyond my expectations, and made sure that not only my puppy was comfortable but we were as well. The veterinary assistants were so polite, friendly, and actually felt like they enjoyed being there. Our vet (Dr. O’Hanley) made me actually feel listened to, appreciated, and genuinely had compassion and empathy to both me and my puppy. The atmosphere was warm and comforting as well, very inviting and not a clinical feel at all. By the end of my first appointment at North End, I made sure to get my cat there as a patient too! Thank you so much for giving me a wonderful experience, I cannot recommend North End enough!

What an amazing place! They always take my calls with such compassion and knowledge! Do yourself and your pet a favour and switch over! My dog is scared of people and they are amazing and make sure she is always as comfortable as possible! Can’t say enough good things! I would rate much higher if I could!

I just took my cat, Shiraz, to see Dr Haggett and had a really wonderful vet experience. She made him feel comfortable and was very attentive to him and his needs. My cat Jasper is EXTREMELY anxious and I have had bad experiences taking him to vets before. Dr. Bell and the staff at this hospital were absolutely amazing. They were understanding, patient and accommodating. Due to Dr. Bell's amazing care, my older male cat has a clean bill of health and this is something I've not been able to look into for YEARS due to his anxiety at vets. I can't speak positively enough about Dr. Bell and the staff here. Thank you! <3

My dog had an "encounter" with a porcupine. The North End Animal Hospital took him right away, did a good job, did not add frivolous fees, and ended up charging me less than what they had quoted me.

It was the best vet experience of my life. I saw many different veterinarians in different European countries and never service like this. North End Animal Hospital has very friendly and attentive staff. Although I arrived 15 minutes earlier, they treated me kindly. Dr Das Gupta was gentle and very professional. My cat even didn’t notice that she was vaccinated))) Price is reasonable (there is nothing local to compare with). I will definitely remain a client of the clinic for a long time. Щиро дякую 🥰🙏

I’ve had a great experience the last couple days at the North End Animal Hospital! They got me in first thing on Monday with an emergency, and have done a wonderful job taking care of my cat, Butter. We saw Dr. Mica who was excellent, and really made us feel at ease and helped find a solution I could afford without compromising care. Very highly recommend!

What can I say, I picked this clinic out of convenience, but Dr. O’Hanley saved my day. She was super reasonable and believed I knew what was best for my dog. Appreciated the service I got here today, she really went above and beyond and we might be new regulars :)
