I wasn’t sure what to expect when our group decided to dine here on a Saturday evening, but I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed! We ordered the appetizer sampler plate to share and our own entrees as well. All the flavors were phenomenal! We were also able to bring our own wine (since they are BYOB), which was greatly appreciated. Pro tip: get here early if you’re dining in on a weekend, since they don’t take reservations and fill up fast!

We went here on a Wednesday evening around 5. It was relatively easy to find street parking 🅿️. Although it was not crowded at 5PM, by 6PM it was pretty much at full capacity. Service was top notch. The staff was attentive, gave some nice recommendations and brought the food out fast. Food presentation was good. We tried their appetizer platter. Everything was great except for tabouleh (we personally prefer tabouleh from Lebanese restaurants better). For main we got iskender kebab, hunkar begendi, chicken Adana, cipura (white fish) Loved all them. The meat of hunkar begendi was so tender and soft. It melts in your mouth. Isekener kebab with yogurt is made to perfection. Fish was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Adana kebab was one the best we have ever had. For dessert we got kunefe and kazandibi with Turkish tea ☕. They were fine. Will rate this place 5/5. Will definitely come back here and recommend this place to others as well. Also, they said the food here is halal.

Pera is a refined Turkish restaurant. The staff is actually Turkish and proud of their cuisine. The head chef in the kitchen is also Turkish and knows what he’s doing. The food is delicious and authentic. My mother, who is an excellent Greek home cook, had very high praises for this place. And she hates most restaurants. If that’s not a major compliment, I don’t know what is. Highly recommend!

First time dining here and most definitely not our last! We were blown away at how amazing the food was. Every dish we had was so unique and flavorful. Our waitress was very friendly and took her time explaining each dish. The lamb dumplings were a personal favorite of mine, but every plate was a 10/10.

Tried it as take out and the food was great and had real taste. It’s too expensive as takeout, the mixed grill dish was at $36 but can imagine it being worth if you go in person. Definitely one of the better experiences I’ve had with Turkish restaurants.

Got the babaganoush and hummus, good dips but I feel like my blood is 90% olive oil afterwards. Ordered the Lamb Adana and the meat was very salty. Disappointed it came with small tomato slice and only 1 pepper. Atmosphere is comfortable and would be great for BYOB. Might try again one more time to see if better options on the menu but was lackluster time.

In Pera Turkish cuisine, which we have been too many times, we tried hummus, ezme and atom as appetizers, we tried mantı, mixed Grill and pera salad with feta cheese as the main course, and the special dish of the day, stuffed black cabbage. All meals were excellent.

i haven’t had much turkish food in my life but these dishes were SO beautiful and colorful. came here with a fairly large group on a Sunday afternoon, but the service was accomodating, attentive, and super sweet. great portions with a super affordable lunch price! i got a gyro wrap— delicious esp w the sauces. and my friend got a salad which looked absolutely gorgeous. some other orders at our table were the falafel wrap, lamb shish sandwich and grilled chicken wrap. you cant wrong with anything you order! would definitely come back again!!
