En ooru is a unique destination that offers a glimpse of the tribal culture and natural beauty of the region. It is a perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and reconnect with yourself. I had a wonderful experience when I visited there. The village is accessible by jeeps that are arranged by the local guides. The ride is bumpy but adventurous and scenic. The jeeps are well-maintained and the drivers are friendly and knowledgeable. The price is reasonable considering the effort and skill involved. The village itself is a serene and peaceful place. The people are welcoming and hospitable. They showed me their traditional crafts, dances and rituals. I learned a lot about their history, beliefs and lifestyle. I felt a sense of respect and admiration for their simple and harmonious way of living. The only drawback is that there are no restaurants or cafes in the village. You have to bring your own food and water or buy some from the nearby shops. However, this did not bother me much as I was more interested in the cultural and natural aspects of the place. En ooru is a hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone who loves adventure, culture and nature. It is a place that will stay in your memory for a long time.

En Ooru is a place with a lot of scope. Right now it is very basic. The ticketing system is extremely well organised - paperless and efficient. The place itself is quite bland and boring, and what is supposed to be a "tribal village" is literally just a bunch of empty structures. If you've been to a place like Dakshin Chitra, you are going to find this very boring. The views of the valley from here though, are lovely.

Offline Entry Tickets for En ooru and jeep tickets can get from here. We can park our vehicle in pay and park here by and buy tickets and wait for the jeep for our turn. Amenities are limited here. Only a petty shop is here only for snacks and water. No waiting shed here . Good to take an umbrella for own comfort.

🫀 Best to avoid. There isn't much to see, except for the hills of the side of this property. Visited during holidays. This place screams artificiality. Dance and songs by tribals were the only attraction, but then it was mostly like using them as a prop.

You may park your car on road side without disturbing other cars, take care monkeys and do try to be overfriendly and feed them. Keep an eye on small children don't allow to stand on walls.
