La Petite Hôtel de Flouka at Lala Takerhoust is a most conflicting place to review. I will list the positives: superb location and view, outstanding lunch service, easy parking. Moderately positive: the rooms, perfect for a holiday in the sun and swimming pool with a family. The breakfast, carb heavy but fresh juice and very fresh eggs. The bar shaped as a boat (Flouka means river boat) is very pleasant. The grounds are expansive and well furnished though one must always be aware of varying levels of masonry steps and patios. The negative: if you require an internet connection you can depend on don't come here. The various access points have limited range and rooms outside the immediate office area will seldom be connected. The worst aspect of this is the laissez faire of half of the management who seem to genuinely not care. The other half of the management is willing to address the issue helpfully. Finally, a grey area neither positive or negative but should be taken in to account: this hotel is 100% Francophone. I am a traveller embarrassed by my monoglot language skills though I can read and understand several languages. I am always grateful when people make an attempt to help me communicate. The staff at Flouka are helpful that way even when it comes to communicating with gestures. Half of the management on the other hand is contemptuous of non-French speakers. This attitude (and vile internet) would make it difficult for me to return.

We had a fabulous stay here in April and would return in a heartbeat! The view is outstanding with the snowcapped Atlas Mountains visible from the pool. The food is brilliant and we dined like kings eating oysters, delicious steaks and various forms of carpaccio everyday. Thank you Le Flouka team!

The place looks cozy and traditional, the food is expensive compared to the volume and portion

Great view and location however the service is left to be desired. The restaurant is understaffed on a Sunday and therefore the waiters are in a constant rush and stress which bothers a customer who is trying to order and call for their attention.

Wonderful food, fantastic location. Very cool, hidden gem overlooking the lake. Will be there again next year. 😊

Unwelcoming owner with an arrogant attitude. The room was okayish and not properly cleaned to justify the price and the food was rather bland at best.

Couldn't be more satisfied with my pool day at Le Flouka. The food was excellent, and the staff are nice and helpful. Looking forward to coming back here soon.

Great great place to stay very beautiful only issue was the electric going off every 30 mins and would be hours to go back up. Other guests were leaving because of it, the only reason we stay was because our room had a fire place where the other rooms were electric. The nights were cold that you needed heat up in the mountains

Amazing view of the lake and really good food. Quite a walk down some steps to the restaurant and bar from the main road. Quad biking available just outside. Not very close to a town, you would need to drive here.

This was by far one of my very favorite experiences in Morocco. The place was really nice with a very passionate owner, Abdullatef the waiter was incredibly nice and polite, great food and awesome spot on the lake! The small cottages with fireplaces are the best. Highly recommend it if you wanna spend some quality time.

Quiet place in the middle of no where. It is perfect for anyone looking to escape a busy life and the views are awesome. Bit pricey but then again good venues cost more.

A very bad place. We arrived as a group of 6 from Europe. The arrogant French manager did not welcome us and was not interested in giving us a table. He was treating his Moroccan employees badly as well as the guests. French guests were immediately serviced. This is racism and we do not support this kind of behavior. We rather support local Moroccan small businesses. Never again! There are many nice alternatives in the area.

The rooms need a bit of maintenance and deep clean up, there was insects on the bed in middle of the night. Also the rooms don't have a lake view. I was charged a glass of alcohol although I don't drink at all.
