Bar
staff
who
were
working
on
Friday
2/12
need
customer
service
training
or
a
different
job.
I
live
quite
close
to
The
White
Cross
but
as
of
late
I
find
myself
going
here
less
and
less.
I
was
here
on
Friday
with
some
friends,
will
be
the
last
time
for
a
while.
The
staff
really
let
the
place
down.
First
order
I
asked
for
a
Guinness
and
the
barman
acted
in
a
bizarre
way
as
if
I'd
asked
for
a
drink
he'd
never
heard
of
and
the
entire
communication
was
just
odd.
Second
time
at
the
bar,
one
of
my
friends
wanted
to
try
a
Baby
Guinness
shot.
Made
up
of
Kahlua
or
Tia
Maria
and
Bailey's.
I
have
ordered
this
in
The
White
Cross
before
no
problem.
This
was
a
different
barman
who
'served'
me
and
said
,
'I'm
not
doing
it'
as
he
didn't
know
how
to
put
it
through
the
till.
He
had
a
really
bad
attitude,
so
I
asked
if
his
colleague
would
make
them
and
he
also
refused.
I
have
worked
in
customer
service
before
and
it
does
not
look
good
when
a
business
refuses
a
sale
because
they
do
not
know
how
to
take
your
money.
If
you
don't
know-
ask.
They
are
plenty
of
other
pubs
in
Lancaster
that
will
happily
take
my
money
and
they
are
where
I
will
frequent
instead.
I
would
not
be
happy
if
I
was
the
owner
of
The
White
Cross
and
I
am
definitely
happy
as
a
customer.
