Das Museum zeigt die Retrospektive des Bildhauers und Stifters Prof. Fritz Koenig, der in Landshut lebte. Es liegt unter dem bewaldeten Gelände des Hofbergs. Der Eintritt ist frei. Wer am Schlossberg ist, dem kann ich nur empfehlen, sich etwas Zeit dafür zu nehmen.

When I think about the fact that these heavy objects were transported all over the world and gave artists like me hardly any room to breathe, I can understand why Dich&Ergreifend rejected the Bavarian Culture Prize. There is never any money for true art, only for the elite. The second worst museum after the BMW Museum Dingolfing.

There is no question that Landshut is worth a visit but the museum is a must! How good that the wonderful works have found such a beautiful home! An additional plus point: entry is free! Great!

Ein versteckter aber sehr feiner Kleinod am Rande der Landshuter Altstadt und unterhalb der Burg Trausnitz. Man muss kein Kunstexperte sein, um den Charme dieses Ortes zu genießen. Besonders schön empfand ich die Tatsache, dass sich alles auf den Ort und die Kunst fokussiert...kein Kiosk etc. Es stehen aber interessante Materialien in Form von Büchern, Karten etc zur Verfügung. Neuerdings kann man leider die ausgestellten Exponate nicht mehr fotografieren.... zumindest würde ich darauf erst hingewiesen, als ich bereits ein paar Bilder gemacht hatte. Schade.....da im Eingangsbereich nur darauf hingewiesen wird, dass man ohne Blitzlicht fotografieren darf.

Eine wundervolle Ausstellung. Tolle Skulpturen sehr sehenswert ein Ausflug nach Landshut lohnt sich auf alle Fälle. Für die Eindrücke bin ich sehr dankbar

Bei freiem Eintritt wird eine Spende am Infoschalter sicherlich gerne gesehen und man wird gebeten, Rücksäcke/Taschen in kostenlosen Schließfächern zu deponieren. Wir kommen sicherlich gerne wieder!
