Portage Park is a stop along the wonderful, wandering trail which follows the Nicomekl creek. This meandering paved trail stretches from 192 Street to 208 Street. The surrounding marshes are filled with all sorts of wildlife, plants and flowers. The bushes along stretches of the trail are laden with blackberries and raspberries. Benches and tables along the trail provide a place to rest.

Beautiful park. Lots of paved pathways so it is easy for those with walkers or wheelchairs to get around and enjoy nature as well. Plus great kids play ground areas.

Lovely open park with nice running trails, plenty of trees, and a covered gazebo with multiple picnic tables nearby the playground. All around a beautiful park.

We stopped by to photograph some of the rare trees and enjoy them in full foliage. This park is lovely and the playground equipment is in top condition and there’s a great collection of it. We walked the trails and also found two geocaches. Now we know it’s here we’ll make a point of coming back again.

Cute little park in Langley. Doesn't get too busy in the morning. It may look a bit dodge as there is forrest a little ahead but great place to take your toddler for some fresh air.

Wide, paved paths snake through a wooded area between homes. Nice place to take a stroll with the dog.

A lovely walk. I brought my paints and sat for awhile at Sendall gardens and while walking home through Portage park I found this charming foot bridge.

Within walking distance to our grandson, we have visited this park a few times and he loves it. Washrooms available which is a bonus! Hoping to live in this area soon as people seem kind. Would love to see a water park developed in this park as an addition for the kiddies to enjoy.

A great park to take a walk outdoors. The park has many trails that winds through grassy areas and streams, leading to residential areas. There is also a playground there too. One interesting feature is how the city named various trees by the playground. I like how this provides a great way to learn about the names of the different trees located there. It's a short walk from the city centre and includes public washrooms near the playground.

Quiet little park with lots of trails, needs a new playground, but it is not terrible.

We live close by. So it is very convenient. It is quiet and safe. It does get flooded very often and in the winder it freezes over. Other than that, I'm glad it's around for a little stroll..

Playground is older and smaller than other nearby ones, but still has some fun stuff. Smaller covered shelter area with four picnic tables is serviceable and there are public washrooms right beside them.

Good park for littles. Bathrooms were very clean. Unfortunately notice needle parifinalia in the picnic area which is sad but over all a well kept place.

Great trail system, unfortunately coming across people openly shooting up in the middle of the day. Puts a damper on a carefree stroll.

It is a nice and beautiful place to walk, kids play area is good too. Be careful with mosquitoes lol, get a repellent on before going πŸ˜€

Best basketball court I've ever seen at a park, seriously. Fully fenced in like a hockey rink so the ball stays in the play area, lots of shade, and a great court surface. Awesome 2-person swings, tons of trees, a covered picnic area, washrooms, and even Ernie the fish! We discovered it while biking along the Nickomekl cycling route. The kids love it.

A beautiful woodland area. A children's playpark exists at the edge of the wooded area. There is no tree cover for the children's playpark so it is quite hot and sunny on warm clear days. There are only about 6 structures in the playground (swings, merry go round, see saw, small slide, jungle gym). It tends to be very quiet and secluded. There is a picnic area in a shed/gazebo. There's also an enclosed basketball/soccer/hockey court.

Great park for kids of all ages, trails for for pets or older kids interested in taking a walk. Beautiful bridges that you can stand on and view the Nicomekl River, catch it at the right time of year and you can see large salmon.

Nice park with lots of details including bridge and creek.

This is a seriously beautiful landscape. Trees are large shade giving evergreens. The paved walking loop connecting the city parks are filled with berries in summer. A thoughtful playground accompanies ample lawn and a basketball hoop.

A beautiful place for a quiet, peaceful walk. I encountered very few people, and it was a green, serene park.

It is big and beautiful. There is enough room for many different crowds and for dog walkers without ever even bumping into someone not desired to speak to at the time. I can sure relax and enjoy my thoughts here.

This is a gem of a park right in the middle of Langley City. We've been coming here for several years and always enjoy taking our kids to the playground for a little play time. The trees are especially gorgeous here in October with their fall colours.

Lots of trails. Almost 4 star'd it because of littering millenial dope smokers but there's a nice old man on a mobility scooter that picks up after others, and he really shouldn't have to, dam kids.
