University of Ilorin is an Higher Institution of learning which offers Bachelors, Masters and PhD courses in many fields: Arts, Humanities and Sciences. The Unilorin campuses occupies a very large expanse of land and is very beautiful. The campus still has much potential for growth.

I schooled here for 6 years (optometry) and I'll tell you, other than the difficulty in getting bus into and out of school, the school is amazing.

Better by distance, school is still in its early stage in terms of development, it has a massive land mass and still needs to undergo further planning to cater for its population, road to the main campus seems to be artifically long by making it go through a longer route too.

We went on a facility tour of the Researchers' lodge situated within the permanent site. The structure has massive space. Gazing from within the structure and you see a beautiful lake at a distance. The university is surely blessed with land mass.

I am proud to be a graduate of this great school. It's indeed one of the most preferred choice for candidates seeking admission into universities in Nigeria. The school reputable for adherance to strict moral and ethical code. Also, the rate growth and improvement in infrastructures and facilities are rapid. Each time I visit the school, there is always something new. Nevertheless, there are transportation challenges especially for students staying off campus. Also male student have very limited accomodation on campus.

Being an alumini from the school, the school is okay at best, Not enough shuttle buses and cab for students, so must times you are stuck on queue for some time. Classes are usually always overcrowded Not enough activities for students to engage in or maybe I'm just lazy. Academic wise, well.......it is what it is in my opinion.

University of Ilorin, is called Better By Far and it’s not just for any reason but due to the discipline and law enforced in the school. Fighting, exam malpractice e.t.c. are deeply frowned upon by the institution and anyone caught in any of this act should be ready to deal with the law of the institution for real. The cost of living around student area, is not that costly but slightly higher than that of normal areas in the state.

A good and affordable university. Students face transportation issues. Has a great land mass. Very few sculptures to be seen. Moderate pliable roads with numerous bumps. Has a zoo and dam.

It was amazing having seen student who barely graduated from this institution in three months, come to NYSC orientation camp with their certificate not statement of result, this shows that the management are proactive.

University of Ilorin, also known as Unilorin, is a federal government-owned university in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. It was established by a Decree of the Federal Military Government in August, 1975.The establishment aimed to implement one of the educational directives of the Third National Development Plan which was aimed at providing more opportunities for Nigerians aspiring to acquire university education and to generate high-level manpower, so vital for the rapidly expanding economy. Compared to other higher institutions of learning in the country, the institution has one of the largest landmass covering approximately 5000 hectares of land.

University of Ilorin is one of the top ranking Universities in Nigeria, I am glad to be a product of this great University. It was established over 40years ago. It has an eligant Senate building, ultramodern buildings, walk ways, several Faculties, wonderful roads network, spacious lecture halls, standard stadium, clean and we'll planned environment. It is a very well recognized citadel of higher learning.

I can't imagine a public institution like 'the almighty unilorin' doing things that even secondary schools shouldn't do. Imagine unilorin sandwich program accepting a candidate, collecticting acceptance fee when the candidate has not been accepted and in the end you rejected such person's application. This is so uncalled for and the institution needs to do better. If I could rate lower than this I would just do
