Well...the camp was extremely fun...it was regimented just like everyother camp in Nigeria. The camp officials, platoon officer, soldier instructor and the state coordinator were really friendly. The weather was good πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ And I got connected to good set of friends.

I enjoyed my stay at the camp. It was both fun and stressful. The soldiers and camp officers were very friendly and hospitable. They also have a good clinic in case you fall during the orientation camp. Ensure you go with a power bank as they don't allow phone charging in the hostel.

Did my NYSC camp here. It was a good time. Loved climbing the mountain opposite the camp. The Mami market was cool as well. As someone who went to boarding school early, I wasn't complaining about the experience like others were.

This is A nice place for the youth coppers, i will never forget my experience here, Sleeping By 10PM waking up by 4am. The"double up"by the soldiers. The drilling by the Man O War. The really morning parade and the never ending lectures. Also I can never forget my experience at the SAED where i thought my fellow corp members how to produce paint.

CHARGE YOUR PHONE, ITS YOUR BOY STAR BOY!!! OLABISI IS A GOAL!!!!! Not the most beautiful camp in Nigeria but ofcourse one of the best camp you'll enjoy in Nigeria. Small piece of land, everyone lives like one big family, you easily see the same face daily because of the small area of land. Soldiers are not wicked, road is tarred. Youll enjoy this place. Going here for your service? Get there a day before so as to secure a good hostel and early registration on Tuesday morning.

The camp is a nice environment, clean and the COVID-19 guidelines are complied. Anything needed can be accessed at the Mami market, food and water are readily available and the community within the camp is peaceful. Loving my stay here. ❀️

Thank God it had full facilities - There are toilets and bathrooms! Good enough ones but you won't escape using that potty. Paid hot water available in the morning. Buy your things outside because MAMI market is x3 on top Nigeria's current x3 on prices, even cash get it outside! Also get your prescriptions outside, the clinic may not have it all. Brace Yourself and Enjoy your Stay πŸ˜‚

For someone who would love comfort and privacy, this place might not go down with you. Nevertheless, the reason for the course is the focus. NYSC Orientation Camp, Ikare-Akoko offer drills, parades, martial arts, Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurial Development Trainings, Lectures of diverse topics for Young Adults who have just graduated from Tertiary Institutions and would go ahead to serve their Father land with dedication and selflessness.

Mehn....the sun in that state is too hot not like the northern part of the country tho... The food is just typical camp food bland and tasteless, queueing for water, heat unstoppable... The camp is all shade of fun with amazing camp officials and fellow corp members. I really enjoyed my time there. It wil get better .

It has been actually interesting, I have got to meet people from different states in Nigeria and I have interacted with a lot of people. The weather this period is quite cold at night and sometimes hot during the day.

It's a great camping ground with right environment for training and inculcating discipline. Also teaching of morals, management skills and enforcement of unity among people of different tribes in Nigeria is a primary goal of the camp.

I camped here from January 25 to February 14, 2023. The camp environment is generally neat. The kitchen food is good and for those who can afford it the mammy market is another viable option. For male hostels, Agagu Hall is the best. Tiled with the bunks properly arranged. The camp is surrounded with many pit latrine kind of toilets. If you can- go with sunshades and sunscreen as it's really the sunshine state. The camp officials are nice and friendly people. You will enjoy your camp activities here. Don't be afraid

A good place for tourism with the mountains, hills, and quietness. Though the ground is very dusty because of the red sands, so, wearing masks is highly recommended.
