We tried this restaurant based off Guy Fieri and Triple D show, but not overly the top amazed by the food. We wanted it to be amazing but it just wasn’t. The cinnamon roll was the best thing we had. The gravy definitely tasted like it came out of a can. Service could have been more attentive too, waited a very long time for a coffee refill. Best part was it was cheap $9/meal but I’d rather pay more and have better tasting food.

What a fun, delicious, unanticipated stop on our way to Denver. This cute café was bustling. My husband ordered the corned beef hash, and I the Dan wich - but I substituted ham instead of sausage. This was probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever put in my mouth!!!

Great food. Very fast. There was a 20 minute wait to get in but well worth it. I will go back.

Nice old fashioned diner with fantastic food! The 7220 Burrito is incredible! Once again DDD led us to a great meal.

We are homesick for your restaurant & food! We came thru & spent the night on our way home to Iowa from our Colorado trip in May. Lady at Hotel recommended your restaurant. Amazing food! You put Laramie on our map! Thanks & oh how I wish we could come back right now! We now have a new route on our vacations-thank you! Someone please have a biscuit & chicken fried steak meal for me! Best coffee ever!♥️♥️♥️

Great little diner to eat at! We ordered the cinnamon roll and pancakes and they were the best I’ve had by far! The biscuits and gravy and French toast were also amazing! The service could’ve been a little better but overall would recommend great place to eat!

Place where the locals hangout. Everyone knew each other. Best cinnamon rolls in the world if you are like me enjoying thick icing, heavy cinnamon and soft yeasty buns. Oh, and they heat them for 45 seconds. Worth a visit to Laramie for them.

We made a quick stop here Sunday morning after leaving Centennial. The breakfast did not disappoint. I was a little worried when we walked in and saw not a single table or chair empty but they are FAST. Our 5-10 minute wait ended up being 7. They got us seated, put in our orders and delivered our food within 25 minutes. The food was all AMAZING!! As we walked out there was people outside waiting on the sidewalks and curbs. That’s how ya know it’s good!! If you find yourself in the area stop, you won’t regret it.

On our way from Oklahoma to Idaho we stopped here for a late breakfast. It was a fluke - I just looked for a local place that we could get in and out of quickly. We always try to support local businesses when we travel, and I’m so glad we happened upon this gem. Once we sat down we saw Guy Fieri’s emblem on the wall as it was featured on DDD. We were super excited. Everything we ordered came out quickly and was absolutely scrumptious. A stick to your ribs breakfast perfect for a long day on the road. The service was also excellent. When we come back thru, we will make it a point to stop here again.

We were driving cross country from a hunting trip and stopped. In case you’re concerned, there’s plenty of room in the street parking spots for a truck & hitch basket (see pic). The food was delicious (J’s homemade cornbeef hash and prairie rose omelet, cinnamon buns) and despite being busy, the food came fast. Service was friendly and excellent at handling the busy flow while still keeping our coffees full. The biscuits & gravy and corned beef hash weren’t what I’m used to (roots in PA & AR), but both were amazing and plates cleaned!

Delicious! The food was absolutely great. Could easily see why this place was on Triple D. The corned beef hash was the best I've had, and topping it off with the strawberry rhubarb pie, was the best decision I made that day! Check this place out!

This is a great spot for breakfast and lunch! Very friendly service, great comfort food and classic diner experience. We enjoyed the chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, and the patty melt. Be sure to try the homemade cherry pie a la mode - you will not be disappointed!!

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN 2.23.23 So, I tried a place festured on Guy Fieri's DDD back in 2021. It's a tiny little Cafe downtown Laramie. I tried the chicken fried steak sandwich and tots. The steak was tender and crispy, but I don't believe it was made in the house, just a pre froze, drop in the fryer. Having said that, it was enjoyable, just not special. The tots were not made in house either, but I was fine with that because I happen to enjoy that type of barrel shaped tot. Good and crunchy. I understand their cinnamon rolls are exceptional and they did look homemade and yummy, I just didn't have room. While it what I had was not homemade, it was good for what it was, and I would do it again. Recommended!

We got breakfast here for takeout during our travels and WOW, one of the best breakfast places we've been to! The house special breakfast burrito was delicious and the veggie omlet was a top 5 for me. Great and timely service too, definitely check this place out if you're traveling on I-80!

Stopped in for a late lunch on a recent trip to Laramie. What an absolute gem! J's is an old-school diner with excellent service. The food was out quickly and tasted fantastic. DO NOT MISS the breakfast burrito which has the option to double the meat for $0.50 or triple the meat for $1.00 and is served all day! One of the best I've ever ordered. For those who enjoy an "Easter Egg", head toward the bathrooms and check out the deity statues in the back room as well as the story about them on the table. Charming! Highly recommend J's Prairie Rose!!

Packed w/ local cowboys, this isn't the place to go if you're not ready to dive into a raucous, rowdy rabble. The feeling is like jumping onto a speeding train. Definitely a place of unique character, it captures to me what Laramie started out as, a bit of the old wild west. Their breakfast burrito is damn good, and inexpensive. Not a place for peace and quiet, but definitely an experience.

Long yet fast moving line led to a very tasty experience. Food was fresh and cooked perfect. Waitresses were attentive and helpful. Even though the place was packed (always a good sign) the food was right out, So if you drive by and see a bunch of people standing in front, don't be afraid to stop and put your name in. There's a reason

Small local diner with great food and quick service. My husband ordered the breakfast club and would definitely recommend it. My daughter and I were still full from dinner so we got a bowl of oatmeal and a pancake. Cool place for sure. We also got 2 t shirts as souvenirs.

Small place with good mom/pop “diner” food. Stopped in at 1:00 and the place was packed. Grabbed a table and waitress was there in a flash with menus and took our drink order. In a very short time the food arrived and was plentiful and tasty. Prices are more than reasonable.

After a very long day of driving from southern Colorado to Laramie Wyoming I was very hungry and very tired. An art festival was going on and it took forever to find a parking space near any restaurants. Finding this little gem of a mom & pop restaurant was so worth it. Smiling and helpful employees always makes my day. The service was great and my food was delicious and brought out immediately and well placed. I wish I had taken a picture of the Chicken fried steak dinner. So good. And a good price too.

Was in Laramie for a wedding a number of years ago, and wanted a tasty Sunday morning breakfast. We wanted to go "where the locals go". We found it. This place was a total gem. Amazing food (the breakfast burrito was delicious, as were the biscuits and gravy), really nice people, and a comfortable "diner" type atmosphere. If you are looking for a good "local" place to dine while visiting - look no further.

Super yummy cinnamon rolls!!we also had pancakes and I enjoyed the hash browns. Nice atmosphere, was able to visit with my family while I was in town. The server wasn't super attentive but it was quite busy for a week day.

Great breakfast. Packers but the service was fast and attentive. Had the tower and ate 1/4 of the breakfast burrito. Both were very good.

Nice local breakfast stop. Nice, courteous staff. Clean. I had a chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and hash browns all built into a tower. Surprisingly, it was quite good. The cinnamon roll was delicious.

Yes they were busy, our 3 top was seated in 10 minutes.. we had our meal within another 10. Chicken fried steak was the big winner, burrito was so good too. The French toast had the perfect texture. Old school diner at its best, the servers were great and worked together with the cashier and busser well. A well organized staff is always appreciated here. Well done ladies and gents

So glad we stopped at this place during our short stay in Laramie! The cinnamon roll was the best I've ever had and The Tower was literally my perfect breakfast. I did sub the sausage for bacon.. And added a few dashes of Tobasco. Service was great too! They were very busy and busting their butts to take care of everyone. Just such a great place!
