I have walked this park many, many times. For once I stopped and enjoyed the beauty that was right in front of me. I also enjoy this park immensely because of the playground for the children. There are many structures for all age groups to enjoy. My grandson loves this park! This park also has lots of functions for families to enjoy. One of the main attractions is the Christmas lights. This is a must see park!!!

Nicely landscaped park with adult workout area, huge children's playground, trains (check schedule), library, and performance center. Great place to do laps or have a picnic in the open area. You can do one lap in less than 10 minutes. Very nice and clean restrooms. Their "little library" box could use some refill donations.

Largo Central Park is a beautiful park to visit. Our family always enjoys passing through. The playgrounds are filled with so much to do from slides, swings, and obstacles. The trails are also nice to visit. The people here are very friendly. The wildlife is amazing. We see a variety of birds and squirrels throughout the park. I highly recommend coming here to relax and have fun.

One of the largest parks in the area! The children's playground section is very spacious with a variety of activities for all ages and abilities. Probably one of the most inclusive parks in the county. The bathrooms weren't dirty or miskept when we visited. We try and go every year to look at the Christmas lights and tree.

Finally made it to the winter lights here & wow was it beautiful! Parking took a little while to happen but it was worth the wait. They had food concessions & even a Ferris wheel set up. Plenty of photo op spots set up too. It was a beautiful festive night, will go back sure sure.

Some of the lights are out but oh well. It's very nice at night but gets crowded after sunset. Parking after 5:30 is rough, so get there before that if you don't want to drive around for 30 minutes looking for a spot.

Amazing playgrounds! Iโ€™d highly recommend this location for 2-10yrs old. It was great on our vacation. We spend at least 1.5 hours there. Older kids probably longer. Brand new designs. Cool colors, AstroTurf, great shade, easy parking, swings, rock climbing, gated-in playgrounds, large running fields, Christmas lights set up for the holidays, and picnic areas.

This is a great park! The Christmas display is free, thereโ€™s a carousel, Ferris Wheel, funnel cake stand and popcorn stand for purchase. This has a HUGE kids playground and plenty of picnic tables and bathrooms! Very pretty grounds. All the events we have gone to here are great! Florida is so much fun in December! There is also a performing arts center if you want to come support local talent!

Largo Central Park on December 23rd was an absolute delight, earning a well-deserved five stars in my book. The Christmas light display was nothing short of magical, creating an enchanting atmosphere that left a lasting impression on both my kids and me. The park's meticulous attention to detail in the decorations showcased a commitment to spreading holiday cheer. Navigating through the dazzling lights, we felt immersed in a festive wonderland. The variety of displays was impressive, from classic holiday scenes to imaginative light sculptures that sparked joy in everyone, especially the kids. Santa's corner was a highlight, with a warm and welcoming setup that made our visit truly special. What sets Largo Central Park apart is its dedication to creating a family-friendly experience. The live entertainment added an extra layer of joy, and the overall organization of the event ensured a smooth and enjoyable evening for all attendees. From start to finish, the park's Christmas light display on December 23rd was a heartwarming and memorable experience, making it a must-visit during the holiday season. Largo Central Park exceeded expectations and provided our family with a five-star celebration of the festive spirit.

This is a great park for the kiddos. And when the train is running, itโ€™s even better. They also do โ€œTouch a Truckโ€ here every year and the kids have a blast.

There is an old feed store across from the theater ๐ŸŽญ that is used as a community center and for acting rehearsals. The building is also a tribute to local largo history with some great local historical artifacts on display. We were there practicing for the upcoming musical Oliver. I always enjoy all the park and theater have to offer. It is a great place to spend any time with the playground and botanical gardens on site. The theater is usually having something fun and exciting as well.

Accidentally found this place while I was driving around. Nice park all decorated for Christmas. They even had food and drink stands set up for your convenience. Great way to end a romantic evening - with a walk in the park.

Fast charging was awesome. So much to see and do here. Well done largo! Great eye on the future. Check out some of my pictures This area was part of the Pinellas county fair and library area years ago. Nice memorial for K9's. That have passed. Huge playground for the kids.

Great place to come and relax. Lots of shade in this spacious city park. Bring your leashed dog. I stress leashed as the rules are posted clearly at the entrance. This park, in addition to being a great place to walk, has a tremendous play area for young kids to enjoy. There must be five different play setups in the fenced-in area. I also saw a field for outdoor games, a picnic area, and the best part, a small train to ride! If you live in and around Largo, cone enjoy your park.

Wonderful time spent here! My spouse and I had a wonderful time. The grounds and landscaping crew does such a wonderful job keeping this place in order. And additionally, the atmosphere of the Botanical gardens is positively serene. We, my spouse and I, are incredibly grateful for the blessing we received by visiting this beautiful, well-taken care of slice of heaven in the Greater Tampa Bay area. The best part of this, it's free!! Thank you so much for a wonderful and peaceful respite doing part of our week away from the grind of work!!

I enjoy this park. Thereโ€™s a little something for everyone. A playground for kids, an area for exercising with built in equipment, trunk or treating in the fall, periodic carnivals, christmas celebrations where the trees are lit up. Pony rides for kids. Thereโ€™s even a train you can ride through the park.

Really enjoyed this park, especially during the holidays. They have a really great playground that is fenced in as well as covered and it's usually pretty busy. There are bathrooms near the playground as well as a large field. Definitely stay in the evening and check out the Christmas lights on the walking trail. #4evafunlife

Largo Central Park has an EXCEPTIONAL Christmas Light walk, replete with various photo opp areas that are sure to be enjoyed by the whole family! It runs up until NYE, and is adjacent to the large playground near the Performing Arts Center. Be forewarned: the carnival rides are quite steep at $6 per ride, given they all last for less than 5 minutes and babies and small children accompanied by an adult all need their own ticket.

I went with my niece & great niece. We went just for the train this time. The 1st saturday of every month, a train club comes out and volunteers their time to give families a ride on the trains. The park is clean and well maintained. They have clean bathrooms, picnic areas, and a separate part just for teens, so they do not have to try to use the smaller equipment. There is plenty of parking and even large grassy areas for free play or just lounging around.

We went to the park early before the crowds before dark to see the free Christmas light. It was wonderful. They did a great job. There was a few vendors selling things. A couple of food trucks. Parking was free and so was the entrance. If you want to ride the rides, there is a fee. Would definitely recommend. We will be back very soon.

It was a really clean park. Toilet is bright and clean. The light show and the Carnival for Christmas were pretty good. The funnel cake is so good. I enjoyed it a lot.

We come here annually to see the holiday lights. It makes for a beautiful after dinner walk. This year we visited on Christmas Eve. It was fairly crowded in some areas but still enjoyable. The perfect activity between dinner out and milkshakes while looking at Christmas lights on the way home.

My husband and I enjoy coming to this park for afternoon strolls. Recently, we went in the evening to check out Christmas lights with a group of friends. We all had a great time! Lights were beautiful. You can't beat free admission and free parking.

Great park and a great family outdoor escapade spot. When the train is running and the Christmas lights are out, it's even nicer

Beautiful light displays. Safe environment. Would be nice if next year they change the train schedule to run each night of the holiday celebration.

The holiday lights event is perfect for a date or a family night out. If you plan on eating, bring plenty of money because the food trucks and stalls will be charging "carnival prices" (read: 10 dollars per funnel cake). Great opportunities for photos!

Absolutely amazingly beautiful Park. It even has train tracks. As a side note they're looking for volunteers to help me maintain the tracks in the trains and get them running on a regular schedule. This place is definitely worth the trip, and I hear at Christmas it is breathtaking even more than it is now.
