The food was very nice however the reason I am only giving two stars is because of the unprofessional approach, we sat outside we placed an order for two meals and two drinks my wife's meal was brought out even before the drinks then about five minutes after that our drinks arrived then it was another five minutes before my meal arrived, that is the basics that any restaurant should get right. As it was getting dark they placed a little battery operated table lamp on the table for us but low and behold as soon as we had finished our food the lamp was taken away and given to someone else, they were getting passed about from table to table come on for god's sake get some more lamps and start thinking about your customers.

3.5 / 5 Good food but a bit plain; the salad was a nice portion. Pricey, but nice views to the sea. Pleasant service overall. Alcohol free beer was great!

Stopped off here for some food, and it was a great choice. Seats right on the beach front. I ordered bruschetta mixte and Spaghetti Carbonara. Both were delicious!! Thoroughly recommended Went back here on another visit to Las Palmas my partner. The onion soup was very good. However, the home made ravioli was delicious!! Good service too.

We had great paella with seafood, and they offered a really nice spaghetti for kids. The only shortcoming is a lack of free starters, but the service is quite quick

The service was friendly and attentive and smooth. The pizza had a lot of filling and maybe a little more flavor could have been used, but it was good and tasted good. The best possible environment to enjoy food outside.

The food is really good and staff was very friendly. Came here again for some pizza and got the best and biggest calzone for €13!

It's a good looking restaurant with good pizza, bruschettas and salad. I wouldn't recommend it that much. For me, the attitude of the waiter Igor was shocking, he was very unpleasant and arrogant. His behavior spoiled our visit to the restaurant.

Overall an amazing experience. Very nice place by the beach. I recommend it! For a very good price also! We ordered a tropicana pizza and a burrata pizza. For drinks a bottle of white wine. Pizzas were delicious and the house wine was amazing. EXTRA POINTS for the wine cooler!! Kept the wine cool in the burning hot temperature. For dessert we ordered lemon sorbet and crepes. The crepes were very chocolatey. We thought the lemon sorbet would be more like ice cream but it was a smoothie. Still very good and refreshing. The service was polite and kind. Nothing bad to say! Keep up the good work.

A lovely restaurant along the Las Palmas beach with great views overlooking the sea. The food is very good, very authentic Italian cuisine with fresh pizzas and homemade pasta. A little touristy but Prices are very reasonable for the location. Would definitely recommend!

So, painfully slow service. The first course, was calamaries which were literally rubber... awful. We will not order those again. The medium-rare sirloin / solomillo was cold but okish. We were offered a hot stone (see photo) in order to re-heat the meat. The salad was quite basic, but ok. It seems to me this restaurant only relies on location, overlooking the most important two things: Good food, and Good service. We will come back for italian food during our next visit to Las Palmas.

An outstanding Italian restaurant! I'm not generally one to visit attentive nations restaurants when abroad but it was my daughter's turn to pick, wow she picked a good one. Service was wonderful: extremely friendly, fun, there when needed, fast, polite, helpful - spot on. The food was out of this world! My daughter's dish, pasta with creamy pesto, blew her away; my pasta with smoked salmon, prawns and caviar, was simply divine and goes down as the nicest Italian dish I've tasted; my partner's chicken salad (Cesar) was exceptional too with beautiful fresh produce and a creamy dressing, perfect! The portions were a good size too, nothing wasted. The wine, an Italian house wine, was lovely and priced just as I'd expect. This is an incredible restaurant that simply must be visited and we're really tempted to go again to try their sourdough pizzas.

Great ambience for outside seating underneath umbrella and food was good. I ordered the sirloin pepper steak 🥩. It’s nice that also a warming plate comes to the table to warm meat or cook a little longer if too rare. I thought this was pretty cool. A drink was not available on menu so had a red wine instead. Overall I would comeback and enjoyed.

Very very good pizza! Was surprised since my hometown Oulu in Finland traditionally delivers the best pizzas, hands down. Anyway, tried to find weaknesses all the time while eating but for vain - it was perfecto, muy bien!😋 This could be the reason to move here permanently..

The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful to me and my family even though I know very little Spanish. We had pizza and pasta and the quality even for such simple dishes was exactly what I needed. We have traveled all around the world but we have not come by a place such as this. Thanks and see you again soon!

The place was packed, there was a queue outside, but a table was still found quickly. Iberian Secret meat dish with fried potatoes, accompanied by a handful of fried vegetables. The portion came surprisingly quickly. It was huge, the stomach was full. The meat is unfortunately dry, no sauces included. Overall, two pluses: considering the size of the portion, the price is right, the house red wine was good. A tourist restaurant, what a tourist restaurant. The staff is energetic and friendly.

Second time we came here during the last week. We came back for their Focaccia that I had last time. My wife had it today and I had their pizza with ham. The lady serving us was very nice and spoke good English. The same with the gentleman who brought us the food later. Their focaccia is superb and the pizza was very good too. Will be back.

Stopped here for a drink on my first evening in Gran Canaria. Didn't eat here, but the food did look (and smell) very good. Great view along the sea front, and close to the nets so can watch people playing beach volley ball. Will be sure to go back for another drink and watch the sun go down, and to try the food.

Great restaurant. Both gluten free and vegan options. Delicious food. Staff were not pushy but were not particularly attentive (it took a while to get their attention for more drinks). No disabled toilets and no baby change facilities. Staff followed COVID rules (making a real point of cleaning tables etc). Would definitely come back again.

Absolutely the worst lasagna i have ever had. Even microwaved supermarket lasagna is better than what I had. Meet unevenly spread, pasta over cooked and sauce tasted like ketchup. My gf had carbonara which was also quite blunt in taste.

  • 2/5 anna k. 1 year ago on Google
We took lasagna and spaghetti carbonara. Lasagna had overcooked pasta and very ketchupy taste of tomato sause. My spaghetti had too much of bacon, bacon felt like was just thrown into the dish at the very end before serving. All semi warm. Also taste was quite mild. Would not order it again.

Worst pasta I’ve ever had in my life I was really surprise when they brought my pasta 5 min after my order. When I tried it I realized that it was just warmed up, so the pasta is already prepared and they just warm it … and just pasta and shrimps , no sauce. Really worst place, will not return back …

A restaurant by the beach that seems to offer great pizza and paella 🥘 but disappointing gourmet. I went there for the first time as the terrace seemed nice and by the beach. The staff were nice but the Paella Negra and Italian ensalada 🥗 that I ordered was disappointing for Spain…I was expecting more taste and mixed tastes… It looked decent but the taste wasn’t matching to my expectation. The table outside was wobbly and was very disturbing…. Perhaps the pizza would have been. A better option.. Unfortunately won’t go back again…

Great to have gluten free pasta and pizza. So many choices too! The staff are fast and efficient. One of our visits they seated us in the adjacent restaurant as there wasn’t enough room in the main area, which was nice. Pizza Royal (with pear, prosciutto and Gorgonzola) was my fave.

I really enjoyed my experience at Al Maccaroni. The staff was incredible and the food was the best that I had on las Palmas. Daniel was a great server and the lobster was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend eating here.

Been here a few times and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, today wasn’t great. When we arrived, there was nobody waiting for tables and nobody allocating tables. We had seen a family just paying their bill so we waited a while for them to finish and took the table. When we sat down, we had to wait ages for the table to be cleaned and to get service. Evidently by this time people had arrived waiting for tables and a blonde lady seemed to be managing who sits where. When we asked for menus, the lady came over and was incredibly rude telling us we should have waited in the queue, we advised her that there was no queue when we arrived and she was nowhere to be seen when we got there. The service seemed slow, though they were busy people who came in after us were being served so I felt that it was because they didn’t like us taking the table. Had to ask 3 times for some sauce. One of us had asked for rose wine and got something different which they did happily change. Unfortunately after many lovely meals here, we won’t be returning. The one saving grace is that the waiter who came to give us the bill and process the payment was very friendly but unfortunately it was too little, too late. The other waiter came as we were standing up to clean the table and came across really rude, didn’t acknowledge us.

Food was very good and the wine was brilliant. But it was like every waiter didn't know what the next 1 was doing. Running around like headless chickens. If proper designated areas were given to people and attention to customers a little better. Sirloin Pizza & Lasagne was very nice too. Washed down with a bottle of Rose wine 🍷

Delicious food! Really nice stuff! Yes, they can bring dishes separately, but that's because they really cook it instead of warming it up. It is a great place to have a lunch or a dinner! I trully recommend it!

Some of the ordered dishes are forgotten. Drinks are served strangely. Part of it is served inside at the bar, and part of it is served outside, at the table. Why?? 🤔🤔 He poured something into a glass at the bar, we don't know what it was, but it wasn't Arehucas. Sorry, but we do not recommend this place.

I got a pizza to take away. It was extremely burnt I wanted to go back and complain but I was a 20 min walk away. Very disappointed and annoyed to arrive home with a burnt pizza and also the toppings were spared even the tomato sauce was non existent. Dry wouldn’t recommend. But staff were friendly

Delicious Solomillo Roquefort, perfectly cooked and delicious Atun A La Plancha, also perfect. This atun was just too much for me and they gladly put the rest in a takeaway box! Very friendly staff with perfect English :-) And the lovely sun set is a free extra.

Very nice mixed tapas starter and Pizza Royal, all pizzas made freshly when ordered. Obviously a very popular place as we were there at 7.30 and it soon filled up. If you are around Las Canteras and want a pizza this would be a good choice.

Misleading name! This restaurant is the same kitchen/food/menu as the Italian next door. I wanted some tapas and ended up with a huge menu with mostly frozen food. Tentaciones? No gracias. Staff pretty unfriendly who seemed to be totally bored. Guys you should be happy to have a job nowadays.

Very hard to review the food when when your wait for an hour after ordering and they just forget. Even after asking no reply. After asking again they only remember half of the order. The staff doesnt check on the terrace and seems highly unmotivated. We left after more then an hour.

Surprisingly enough, this Italian restaurant serves one of the best spanish dishes on the coast. Garlic prawns are to die for! Pastas and drinks are also very good. Overall a very nice experience directly in front of the beach.

Don't usually leave reviews went for tapas as a last meal in Las palmas, hugely disappointed the oil was greasy the tomatoes were not fresh and the potatoes were too salty to eat, the bruscetta was mushed tomatoes and pesto no freshness no garlic no taste sadly horrendous the service was medium but the food not good at all and for £33 if you enjoy good food there are so many amazing new places to try on the area sadly this is not one of those

🫤 Overpriced & slow service. The view is good, but the food was really under appreciated. Food was nothing special, and the chips that could be one of the basic were too much oily and undercooked.
