I love this place. Just love it. I've been performing burlesque for almost 13 years now and the museum feels like a second home. The first time I wandered into it, it was hidden in a tiny little room off Fremont Street... years later, it finally has the exhibit and the space it deserves and I adore being able to watch it start to give back to the local community. Burlesque is a huge part of Americana and an even bigger part of Las Vegas and, besides the yearly weekender, this is where history is being made. What once was the naughtiest entertainment you could find is now a political and fringe art form. Las Vegas is not where burlesque came to die. It's where burlesque came to live, to preserve it's history and re-invent itself. It's an art form where women have always had a voice, even when they were playing Greek statues. Come to the museum. Take the tour. Join as a member. Find the local, independent, off the strip shows. Experience where burlesque came from, what is once was and what it has become. Yes, it might get raunchy. Yes, it might get political. Yes, it will definitely be risque and challenge a lot of your preconceived notions. But nothing ever grew in a comfort zone. This is Sin City. Challenge yourself.

This place was a lot smaller than we thought but the tour guide was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all the pictures on display.

This petite museum of burlesque artifacts takes visitors beyond the va va voom. Rare photos, costumes, and other archival materials about the art form make it a fun stop if you’re in Vegas. Love the donor wall of pasties, find the names of your local greats! We arrived while a tour was already in place, and it was easily to listen in while we wandered around the two rooms. That’s also Dita Von Teese’s prop martini glass! Once you’re done, wander down to check out the rest of the shops in the Arts District.

My friends and I went today for Museum Day! This place is not huge but it is packed with history! We got the official tour and our tour guide was awesome! She was very well spoken, knew her history and had me completely engaged! I highly recommend this as “must see/must do” when in Vegas!! I will definitely be back!

The cost of admission includes a half hour guided tour through the history of burlesque, which was absolutely worth it. We arrived a little early, and had no problems wondering the museum for ourselves before the tour, but the tour gave a lot more details and information that I had missed wandering through by myself. Very good experience, I highly recommend coming to visit when you're in Las Vegas!

Super fun experience! The staff was friendly and very excited to share upcoming events with us. We felt super welcome. There are lots of photos, some costumes, and a cool history lesson. I really love the area that focuses on women, empowerment, and inclusion.

This is a fantastic museum especially for anyone who feels they’ve “done it all” in Vegas! Our experience was really made by our tour guide Darby, who is actually the curator of the museum. She is a vessel of knowledge, and could answer all of my boyfriends questions about the crossovers and history between Burlesque and Hollywood, and more. She is a true expert and it was fascinating to see her speak so passionately on the subject throughout the tour, pointing out stories about the different pieces they have at the museum, and then taking the time to speak with us afterwards as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something fun to do in Vegas whether you enjoy history, museums, film photographs, burlesque, costumes or props, or even if you just enjoy learning! Please support this museum and go now! They also have Covid protocols in place unlike most of the rest of Vegas so the experience is a safe and uncrowded one.

Took a class on making rhinestone pasties. Wonderful class, completely informative and very thorough. Worth every penny of the cost. Just got a glimpse of the museum but will definitely go back and see the museum.

A group of us went to Las Vegas to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and decided it would be fun to take a burlesque class. We got all dressed up and everything. It was a really fun class. Buttercup was a great instructor and made the class really fun. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Unique, quaint museum that details the history of burlesque. My wife and me visited the Burlesque Hall of Fame on a recent trip to Las Vegas. Our tour guide was very informative on the history and progression of burlesque. I highly recommend visiting since you won't find most of their displays and exhibits anywhere else. Very friendly staff and the gift shop has lots of great items. Located not far from the main strip. Thanks again for a truly unique Vegas experience.

Completely worth checking out if you're a burlesque nerd like I am. I'm the producer of a burlesque troop in Seattle and my love of burlesque started with a Neo-Burlesque class at Cornish College of the Arts many years ago. I enjoyed all the accurate history that was explained in this short tour. Tip for the amazing owners: I think the tour would be more fun if we got taught how to bump and grind (since the tour guide herself is a burlesque performer!!) with the props at the end, as a group. It'd be very playful and fun to just be taught a few moves. I wanted to buy some merch but the selection wasn't huge. Love Burlesque, love the concept of this museum, love that it's a non profit, and love everything sparkly. Keep it up and THANK YOU for this museum.

Great little museum! Very cool history, interesting facts and impressive small exhibits. The short tour (included) was great, Buttercup was a cool guide and had lots of interesting add ons not resident in the displays themselves. Definitely recommend, a great short stop when in the arts district.

You can wander thru and read or there are tours..we happened in on a tour. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to listen too. We had a later flight and this was a great way to spend some time.

Fantastic, well presented collection maintained by stage performers! Got a fantastic tour from Jeffrey, who really knew their history and was clearly passionate about the museum and it’s collection.

Absolutely amazing. The space itself and exhibits are not huge but the tour guides (Buttercup, at least) are amazing. A wealth of knowledge about everything on the walls and everything related to it, and able to field tangential questions with ease. Tour is 100% worth the price of admission.

So fun and informative! Learned a ton, the guide was happy to share stories and answer questions. I got to take as many photos as I wanted and also got to see Ditas original glass!

Better than calling it small, it would be more fitting to describe this as an intimate experience. It is packed with photos and memorabilia, and the curator really pulled together the history and changes in the art as well as its impact on and reflections of our history, both good and bad. Very interesting.

We checked the website for hours and information. When we came on Wednesday July 26 th there was a paper notice on the door stating they are installing a new exhibit that will be open on August 1 st. No problem, we understand. Just to be sure I called the desk inside and a lovely woman explained that they wouldn’t be open until the 1 st. Which is fine. I just wished we knew that before we parked two blocks away in 111’ weather. We look forward to seeing it at some other point. I just wished it was on the website.

Great little museum and I learned a lot. Visit started with a talk from a museum guide about the history of burlesque and highlights from the collection. Then, viewed the collection more in depth on my own. Friendly staff, easy access to galleries, antique and vintage shops in the Arts District too.

Had been meaning to visit for years and was finally able to make it! It is very nice to know that this organization documents and shares the history of burlesque. We took the tour with Jeffrey and it was great fun! Glad to support and I encourage anyone visiting the arts district to do the same.

There was a lot of interesting history, amd the pictures were fun to see how burlesque has evolved through time. There were a few costumes on display, and a rack of cheap props to play with that were kind of fun. I wish there were more costumes through the times rather than mostly pictures.

Such a great space. It’s small and raw but the genuine love and desire to educate people of the art of burlesque is palpable. The staff is knowledgeable. Jeffrey was my guide and they did an amazing job. I learned some new things, that’s always a good thing. Thank you so much! 💕
