Compare to other gyms who are moving away from contracts , Lvac locks you into a 2 year that auto renew that you have to remember to close. They also don't follow though with their referral credits. I got two friends to sign up and when I follow up after not see my last few months credited, I was told that one of my friends were link to her emergency contact person account who did not have a active account when she signed up (so how could it be linked) and could not be provide with the other account because she was not with me at the moment. And to receive any credit I needed to got back to the two locations that signed them up to asked for referral slips from MONTHS. After being told all they needed was my acct # to link the referral. When i asked for a supervisor I was told there was not one there then that he was on a 1 hr lunch with no other supervisors there. Lets see if I receive a call back by the end of the day

06/20/23 new pictures It’s a shame management just don’t care about keeping this place clean 🧼 , have to cut my workout short again because of the nasty 🤮 bathroom 🚽 ——————————————————————— Nice Gym, but the referral program sucks, they did not honor my 4 referrals, won't bring no body any more, soon I might move to LIFE TIME fitness. - Look at the bathrooms 🚽, I often have to cut my workout short because I go home to use my bathroom, can’t wait to get a membership some where else 👀

Very large gym with lots of options and equipment. The vast majority is machines of various brands for every muscle group you'll need. It's not just a gym, there are showers, a pool, cardio area, tanning salon, and nutrition shop all under one roof. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The nostalgic style is cool, but it is a little grungy and could be better taken care of.

On my goes over pricing in person had to pry it out of the woman. I get y’all have great amenities but I don’t need an annual fee hidden from me. Since you guys aren’t upfront with your prices I’ll be going somewhere else

I would be very careful about this company... different charges for different situations that don't add up. Like a declined payment fee... on top of a late payment if your payment isn't processed exactly the day they charge even if you're waiting for your paycheck to clear. 25 dollars for the declined charge. 5 for a late fee.... so I want to know who they bank with that is charging them 25 for a declined card transaction as that bank needs to be dropped as well as the employee that thought it was a good idea to bank with them. I can understand a late fee so long as it's after a certain amount of time... not 1 minute to 24 hours, but let's say max 7 days. Not everyone gets paid when you want their money.

I just moved into the palm paradise area from summerlin. Already had a gym membership with LVAC. All I can say is this gym stinks. The staff is nice on some days and on other days you can tell the manager is having a bad day. There’s odors that emit from everywhere - even if the gym is freshly cleaned there’s still this funk that bothers me when I’m working out. Compared to all the other LVACs this one seems like the neglected step child. It needs to be renovated. With how they lock people into contracts you think they could afford to remodel it t look something like the summerlin or Henderson gyms. This gym gets the job done but the membership isn’t worth it if your going to the Maryland location.

Edit to reply to LVAC comment below: I did call them and was refunded over $200. The fact that there were 2 accounts under the same name is a corporate screw up. I also called yesterday about the app and was told to keep trying to delete/ download, sign-in/out, after already having tried that multiple times. They said, "it must be your phone" , I have a newer note Samsung. I doubt it's my phone. The reviews of the app on the play store are terrible. It's clearly the app! Don't do it! Once my membership contract is up I'm leaving. They charged me for 2 memberships for 1 whole year! Their playroom is always at their limit so appt are difficult to get. Their app doesn't work! So scheduling playroom or classes is a hassle.

I was expecting something better. This place is DIRTY and the equipment is old an dirty. Not once I have seen any employees cleaning machines. The "cleaning area" is so far from the machines. The mats are disgusting n old n rip. Dirt in phone holders in ALL machines. Planet fitness next door is extremely cleaner n their equipment is 100x cleaner. I have never seen such a nasty as gym since high school.

Worst gym in Las Vegas. Their cost is too high for what they offer. It’s very crowded, no matter when you come. You’ll be waiting for a machine and it’s pretty close quarters. I’ve been to almost every gym and this one is the worst. The staff is friendly, which is nice. But if you are an old member with the high cost of $25 and the only way to get the new rate is to start over- it’s insane. The contract is meant to punish you, even if you fall on hard times.

This gym should be categorized as "Voted Worst Gym in Las Vegas!". I was denied access and sent away because i didn't have membership card. Also the equipment is so run down, there are signs posted on equipment stating need to be repaired. You have to keep jumping from cardio machine to cardio machine to find something that actually works and doesn't make loud noises. 24 month contracts, what gym do you know doesn't have month to month? All this gym cares about is the dollars. Poor customer service and rude staff. Please do not join this gym if you care anything about having a good quality place to workout!

I had a meeting with my trainer and normally we meet at SMTF. I tried to get a guest pass and they made me sign up for a membership. I don't like being forced to do anything. I canceled the very next day. They're too thirsty for me.

After recently relocating to the downtown area, my boyfriend decided to swing by this LVAC location to get a membership today. Upon arrival he was greeted by a homeless person sleeping inside the entry. Although alarmed, he decided to continue on and get a membership (knowing he could use it at other locations if necessary). Unfortunately, the employee assisting him was unable to finalize his membership because the computers were down “again” and directed him to another location (20 minutes away). In addition to the local homeless using this facility as a motel, the machines are old and need replacement/maintenance and the overall cleanliness/upkeep of this location is lacking. Being new residents of this area, we truly hope there are plans to update this location in the very near future.

My review rating is solely based on a particular employee (Raquel) from the kids playroom. I have had nothing but bad experiences with this employee and only this employee. I have been taking my 3 year old to this location since he was an infant and I have never had a bad experience until Raquel began targeting my son. I know she is because she is the only one who has complained that my son is hitting other kids. Look....I get it. Kids can play rough or accidently bump or scratch other kids while playing.(Especially since they have a bouncing house). With that said, my son has shown up to the house with scratches and we have never complained because we understand that kids are kids and accidents will happen. Clearly Raquel does not understand this....She normally spends most of her shift at the front desk and rarely spends time with the kids. All of the other staff members have provided me with positive feedback about my son and they look forward to seeing him. As of right now, its become very uncomfortable to take our son into the playroom Monday - Friday since she is working and the only times we get to enjoy our workout is during the weekend when she is not around. At this point, we will probably have to drive to another location all due to an employee who usually brings negative energy to work. This is very unfortunate since this is a service we pay for and we cannot fully enjoy it. On a last note, I did inform the management team and guess what.....my son all of a sudden gets written up the next time we brought him in. Seems like she has taken the route of retaliation. I really do hope that the management sees this review and investigate this with the rest of the staff members. I am more than happy to speak to management team over the phone and will consider updating my review. Thank you, Kim

Never pay in person , always online . Billing department is a mess. Never lose your membership card , they will not allow you to use your license to verify your identity, and will not let you workout .

While LVAC Central boasts a comprehensive range of equipment that caters to every fitness need, the overall experience is significantly marred by the lax enforcement of gym policies. The staff's passive approach allows a mix of dedicated fitness enthusiasts and casual gym-goers, some of whom seem more inclined to lounge in pajamas than engage in a serious workout. This dichotomy can be distracting and impedes the overall workout experience for those genuinely focused on their fitness goals. It's crucial for a gym's management to strike a balance between being welcoming and ensuring that all members adhere to a standard of behavior that respects everyone's time and space.

Horrible experience! I will never ever give this place the time of day! My daughter got a membership there her senior year in high school knowing she would be be leaving for college the following year. She was told by Garlan this was not a problem that all she had to do was show proof of her school ID and that her contract would automatically canceled which of course was not the case! My daughter has been in school and out of town for 5 months and every time she called to cancel they gave her a different reason as to why her contract was not cancelled and kept charging her the monthly fee. I finally called they said they needed a copy of her school transcript and school ID in addition to a 50.00 cancellation fee which we were never told.. I provided everything paid the fee and hope to never have to deal with these people again!

Billing is a disaster!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid my bill early online on 07/03 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why are you trying to bill me again . ? Fix my account!!!! I can’t even enjoy my workout. I had to spend 20 minutes looking at billing to find you double charged me !!!!!! Get it right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Horrible ! I can’t wait to move ! Club is constantly dirty, no matter what time you go . Martha is the only one who cleans , give her a raise ! Lol don’t lose your membership card , they will not let you work out even with your drivers license to verify your identity. Worst gym ever ! Clean the gym!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the gym. However Keep in mind if you need to cancelled/ freeze account you will need medical notes stating how long you wont be able to use the gym for due to medical reasons. I am pregnant, and due anytime soon. My yearly payment is up and I decided to freeze it but without a doctors note its $25.00 to freeze for three months.

I didn’t know I was signing up for a few year contract when joining. The agent didn’t even say the word contract when explaining the pricing. Had to pay more than $400 for a few months of gym usage. A but if a scam in my opinion.

Jo the assistant manager gave me a tour today and I signed up! Lap pool, regular pool, jacuzzi, tons of cardio and weight machines, very conveniently located and juice bar with food! Thanks Jo for your positive energy and kindness, you sold me on this club. $15 for basic membership. I used to have Planet Fitness, but for $4 more a month you get a pool and sauna. Planet fitness has NO pool!

I'm from out of town and just looking for a nice place to stay in shape. When I arrived I noticed that the parking lot was covered with trash, gum and cigarette butts littered the entrance. Inside the girl at the counter informed me the fee was $118.36 for one month. Shocked I asked her why so much and she said that was the standard fee for out of towners. I asked for the manager thinking that it was a mistake and he said take it or leave it....I informed him I was a senior citizen, a veteran, and disabled and he said none of that mattered. I dealt with 3 employees all of whom were 20 pounds overweight or more. The facility was adequate but aged and in need of a facelift.Overall this was the worst possible first impression you could possibly make on a potential customer. I emailed their general manager twice (before posting this review) and received no response.

My daughter and I love this place! We've been coming for a couple months now. It's always clean with plenty of equipment to use - even when busy. They have a massive selection of weight machines & equipment, plus a ladies only work out room which we love. And then there's the pools, hot tub, sauna and steam room which are the best!!! The smoothie bar is great. Yum! All the employees, members and staff are awesome too.

My oh my, I've been to plenty of gyms, but never have I experienced an atmosphere like this before. So spacious, clean and the classes are absolutely amaaaazing! Connie, Valerie and Spencer have been so professional and welcoming while hosting and conducting their classes. I arrived in Las Vegas a week and a half ago from Columbus, Ohio to be closer to my Father, and a new amigo told me about this gym. Thank you Senor Jose'! Guess what, I'm addicted. My oh my. I wasn't sure how long I would be staying, but this gym has me wanting to stay in Vegas for a nice little while. Good job team, keep up the good work and keep shining!

In short they’re thieves. Even when they initially closed during quarantine, they still charged for that time? Yet, they extended my contract for a couple months on top of that. So I got charged for an extra 4 months I believe when all I wanted to do was be done with the place. I hadn’t even gone since November of 2019 but they really get you with the awful contract.

Do not go to this gym. Waiting on plates all day long. Gym smells like feces and the weight equipment is all old, unsanitary, and poorly maintained. The staff is also full of scammers charging your card hidden fees without permission. Also be careful when they try to scam you into a 2 year contract while they sell it as a month to month contract, then bait and switch the paperwork under your nose

If this place ever renovates I will cancel my membership. Every other gym looks like a dystopian nightmare and this location looks like my childhood. Think the cafeteria from power rangers. I love this gym so much. The staff is extra extra nice and the equipment is exactly what I need. 5 racquetballs courts and an excellent amount of neon.

Edit: I have to edit my review due to rude staff. On august 29th at 7.25 pm Upon checking in, I was asked for my membership card. I explained to Makeem how I was transitioning and in the middle of a move and how it was at my previous apartment and I will I would be able to get it in a week. After giving me grief about their card policy Makeem finally checked me in. I then asked him for a towel (I ask for one every time at different locations and never had an issue) and he rudely and loudly replied “you can’t have it both ways.” I asked him to clarify, and he said “you can’t get a towel after you just asked me to check you in without a card.” he proceeded to take other peoples membership cards and wave them in my face and tell me that I needed one of those as people behind me watched. There are much more professional ways to deny a member a towel. This was extremely humiliating. I started tearing up at the check-in desk in front of everybody. He told me that I could get staff fired if he gave me a towel, but he would give me one anyways and to go in. At this point I did not want a towel. He had already made me feel horrible. If you have footage I’d love for you to review it. I’ve been a member for over a year with no issues but now I’m considering canceling my membership which is a shame because it’s the closest gym to me. I was also told I will be charged for the rest of my years membership if I cancel even if it’s due to poor treatment from their staff. Do not go here you will be degraded and forced to pay them for it. Groovy 80’s themed gym. I’m only paying 25 monthly (5 more dollars than I was paying for planet fitness) to get 24hr access to all gyms and pool areas at anY LVAC, plus amazing fitness classes are included (I love Zumba) Great spa and sauna as well, along with a woman’s only gym section. Couldn’t be happier

Closest gym to my house! Great, VERY CLEAN, super friendly staff. I want to go more but the pool is a little too cold sadly. Maybe once I have my strength up for weights I can return! (if you guys do decide to pump up the heat even a couple degrees please let me know!:)) Facility is fun and lit in a very classic way - very 90's Vegas Vibe - tons of neon and mirrors!! Classes look fun and engaging too!

I am a new member to LVAC, so I've never been inside one before. All I can say is WOW! I've never seen so much workout machinery in a gym before...EVER! As impressive as the facilities were, I was equally impressed with the staff, especially one of the managers, Anthony Reyes whom I met with on my initial visit. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, Anthony filled me in on everything I needed to know about my membership at LVAC. He even knew the user code for the Medicare Advantage program I joined, which made the whole sign-up process go quickly and smoothly. I am VERY excited about my membership at LVAC, and I don't expect that to ever change!

WOW!!! Alejandra is the BEST ASSISTANT MANAGER EVER!!!! My family and I came in to speak with Alejandra about our renewal and she made every thing so smooth and perfect! When I originally signed my contract in 2018, I was given wrong information and had a bad experience. But because of Alejandra I'm still here as a LVAC member! I even brought on my family members and look forward to bringing my friends! She has made everything PERFECT! She has restored my faith in LVAC and People in general! I truly wish that there were more individuals like her! She is so kind, supportive, friendly and knows exactly how to do her job! Thank you again for everything Alejandra, my family and I were so honored to speak to you!!! May God Bless you and your family and everything that you do! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ If we were rich enough, we would buy you a diamond Necklace!!!😉 If you are planning on having an amazing experience and speaking to someone who is actually going to care about you, and your needs speak to ALEJANDRA!!! 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Going to this gym is like taking a time machine back to the 80s--in a good way! I love the classic vibe of this gym and enjoy coming here. PROS Good equipment, nice staff, cool environment. I haven't been to the Bodyheat Tanning or the Self Defense areas, nor has my daughter gone to the Playroom at this location, so I can only speak for the main gym area and the sauna/spa, CONS Because it's one of the older LVACs out there, it can appear kind of dirty in the locker room, and the spa and sauna area. Otherwise, I personally enjoy this gym, so check it out if you wanna take a trip back to 1983!

It's been a little over a month since I made an online order, and been charged in full. I have yet to receive the item, or a reply to my emails asking on the status of my order. The phone system doesn't have a way to contact the right section that deals with online orders. I would like a response..., thank you in advance. Also... Real nice to the person who just hung up on me twice right now. You could at least tell me that you could not help me instead of just hanging up. I'm starting to see why there's so many bad ratings for LVAC.

I don't know why people talk trash about any of the lvac it is super cheap and has everything. You just have to be realistic when you want to go. If everyone is going at that time just adjust for an hour. This location has everything it is crazy one of the better laid out gyms I have been to

This gym is so different from the other LVAC’s in town because it’s the OG. It’s definitely got an old school retro vibe and doesn’t look modern, but that’s the appeal. Not really a gym for its amenities like the other LVAC’s but the equipment is TOP NOTCH. Tons of old school bodybuilding plate loaded machines that are no longer sold, way less of that cookie cutter precor, life fitness, matrix cable stuff and way more bodymasters, hammer strength, Icarian machines you will NOT see in most gyms these days. This gym feels like a museum visit to the old school Ronnie coleman era training days. Also love that this gym isn’t full of squat racks so power lifters can get their ego off, it’s a true bodybuilding gym

Love this gym. The best thing about LVAC is the staff are super nice and super helpful. It's big, airy, AND OPEN 24 HOURS with enough areas of machines and free weights that you never have to wait. Pool, sauna and steam room are always clean. If you want to feel more alive, join ((and use) LAVC.

Small gym compared to other LVAC. For some reason, nobody knows how to return their weights. Those that do return the weights, can't seem to understand that the 45lbs weight does not go on the 10lbs rack. The gym is clean for the most part but you will find a bunch of Edgars who don't bother returning any of the 2 pairs of dumbbells and the curling bars back to the rack.

I returned a call to the billing department today. The representative Jesse was extremely rude, had no customer service skills, he laughed told me to call back and then hung up on me. When I called back I got him again and he hung up on me a second time. Nowhere in the contract does it say that you're going to be treated like dirt. I will not do business with a company that treats people this way. I work in customer service and took time out of my work day to make that call. I will not support a business that treats people this way. I will be disputing the contract based upon this experience. I work too hard for my money and I make my money by being a good customer service representative. LOL

It's a great gym but they stopped printing out body scan results. Which is fine but can we at least fix the wifi so I don't lose the results from the scan? If my payments don't fail then why do the things I pay for get to fail? It just sucks out the motivation a bit.

The Club doesn’t provide courtesy day passes for guest of members unless you pay more monthly. My friends’ personal info was displayed on screen to counter her request, and we found that the benefit to the membership had changed. I found the cost of $20 excessive compared to the $25 monthly charge that a member would pay. It felt like an experience one would have at a rec center and not a club that values their members. Anyone will find a good sales model in place here, rather than a platinum service model.

On the off chance that it takes you an hour to get dressed to go to the rec center, this spot isn't for you! In case you're not kidding about preparing and need an enormous determination of hardware not regularly found in many exercise centers, including old school free weight machines, this is your Mecca! Individuals in here are straightforward and come here to prepare, not be seen or take selfies like clockwork. In case you're into that, go to Lifetime and pay twofold.

Very convenient and clean! From weight training, cardio, swimming, playing squash to attending group classes, you can do them all at the same location! They have a child care too! There are plenty of parking spots + juice bar and nutrition center!

Like working out in an episode of saved by the bell. No broken machines, decent size, indoor pool, and several other amenities. Contracts minimum of 26 months.

I love coming to work out here! Always so pleasant! Fellow guests and employees are all so welcoming! If your like me, you like to do your workout on your own, this place is so wonderful to do so! From equipment to the pool, unless I'm seeking help, absolutely no one has ever bothered me! I see employees everywhere, yet not unless I seek them out will I ever even worry about having my workout interrupted! That is golden in itself!

Older machines and oldest LVAC but still my favorite. Not as crowded as the newer LVAC gyms. Workout and be out

On God, I recommend any other gym for your workout experience. If you do join, please be advised. Not to sign a contract. I would've preferred month to month. They will enforce and charge late fees. Jesus Christ.

I was a long term member of 24 he fitness which I loved for over 20 years. But I would have to tell you that LVAC has met and exceeded my fitness needs clean, ample equipment and I love the the little cafe inside for a quick bite to eat.

When you become a member of this fitness center and gym place, you are automatically on your way to a better you because you are providing healthy benefits to your body with the continued use of the cardio machines and weights. And don't worry, the employees are there to help you with your fitness goals, no matter how audacious they may be. As professionals in the field of fitness centers and gyms, they've seen it all! So don't be afraid to share your ideas and spitball some improvements. Are you interested in the elliptical machine? Me neither, but now is the time to cultivate that lack of interest because these machines are included in the total cost of your new membership. Are you strong from a previous gym membership? Now is the time to build on that strength and level up to previously unseen fitness strata. Are you looking for some extra motivation when you are bench pressing your maximum weight? Bring a friend and have them join the gym. They will be happy to help you out since you turned them on to this cool new fitness center and workout complex. Are fitness classes something that you've told friends you are willing to try? Try them all here and choose your favorites to put on repeat. Maybe your friends will come spinning with you. Upon arrival, please park in the lot outside before entering the building and then the changing room. Showers are available to all members for use before or after your most recent workout at the facility. After you stick to your routine for a while, ask about changing it up. The staff members can assist you with that as well.

I joined a month ago and absolutely love it! The pool is great and never crowded, the machines are easy and if you do not want to be on the main floor the woman's workout room has all the same equipment, the classes are fun as well. Take advantage of the premier membership it is well worth it! I have a wonderful trainer and get free towels, the sign up process was easy, thank you Anthony! Now for all those reviews that are bad: DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT IF YOU ARE GOING TO COMPLAIN WHEN THEY HOLD YOU TO YOUR LEGAL OBLIGATION

This is the nastiest, most filthy gym I've been to in a long time. OLD equipment, horrible staff, and if you get injured on their old equipment, it's 100% on you. Because LVAC won't give me a refund after my complaints and getting injured, I am now suing them. Game Over LVAC.

I just moved to Las Vegas earlier this year. After looking at all of the options for a gym membership, LVAC was the best choice for me. What I like about it the most is the fact that even when the parking lot looks full, it doesn't feel crowded inside. It's also a first class gym!

Today 7/26 this person who claims to be a manager was very unhelpful, unprofessional and disrespectfully rude when I walked in to inquire about a membership. He Was unwelcoming as if I interrupted his day. When I asked for a print out of the quotes of plans he became hostile and said he could not provide me with that assistance. I said ok so the prices could change? He said no the prices start at $25. He kept telling me that and going up without a description of what that included which was extremely confusing which he seemed to take pleasure in. Wow, please stay at home or find a new career if you become agitated with inquiring questions from someone who has never done business with this place. I will be joining Planet Fitness, no questions. :)

Thinking of joining here as planet fitness isn't working out for me. Although I've been working out there and they claim to be a judgment free zone. It's not so much the case

I brought a guest to the gym today August 18, 2021 she had a seven day pass. The first team member had no clue what to do he looked around confused. He called another team member over who said “ I think we need to call a manger “ the manger came over took my guest I.D. We worked out for 45-60min on our way out we wanted to pick up her i.d. A manger told us to have a seat which I didn’t understand; we stood patiently next to the front desk. Another manger came over saying have a seat to give them sometime, I asked why and was told her I.d might be in the lost and found. I’m not more confused how a manger took her I.d and lost it ! The other manger said it might be his car …I was furious why would he take her I.d to his car ! You should never take anyone personal property outside the doors! Having her personal information on it?

I had always come to this gym, in fact it was the first one I went to when I moved to Las Vegas! Later I started going to the new locations, today I returned in more than 3 years that I did not come to this location and it seemed very neglected, the equipment was a bit old, in addition to poor care! I think it's time to give this gym a good maintenance!

Spoke to manager today and while talking to him he decided it was a great idea to pull out a cheese stick as I was speaking to him. Really unprofessional can this gym get any worse? I told him there was feces on shower stall and door also in hook area in pool area. He said they had no one to clean the female area I told him it has been weeks since no one has cleared. He said ok and continued eating his cheese.... No good at all heath issues here

I like this gym a lot, lots of great equipment, and a great deal for all you get! The folks I've met that work there are always friendly. It feels like it's own city, there is so much to do and choose from for an all around total workout, tons of equipment, classes, a women's only area etc... A supplement shop, tanning or water massage, pool, jacuzzi saunas, a place to get food and smoothies. I dont know how the other gyms are going to be able to keep up, LVAC is killing it! 😂

😠 I have been wanting to work on myself. So I thought I would go get a tour of this gym. The guy that helped me was "Dave." He asked for my ID to register me as a guest. He didn't hand back my ID. I felt as if it was being held hostage. I went on the tour. Everything seemed great. Just what I was look...

😠 It is very sad and pathetic to have to leave a google review for this athletic Club. I had just previously moved to Nevada prior to the pandemic. Even through most of the shut down I was able to maintain financially, and after everything re-opened I signed a contract with LVAC. Truth though. the pan...

😠 Gym does have decent equipment, but that's about it. It is filled with immature and loud teenagers that are always on their phone, hog equipment, treat equipment poorly. There are too many people in the gym to find equipment. It's awful. The staff are nice but won't enforce rules. Will be lookin...
