The hotel is beautiful, especially the entrance and restaurant area. The staff was also friendly upon checking in. However, there were a couple of big issues with our stay. First off, the air conditioning did not work in our room (well actually the entire hotel). It got VERY hot when trying to go to bed and opening the windows did not help, plus it let in a lot of street noise. I went to the front desk at 1AM and was told that the entire building did not have air conditioning because it “hadn’t been turned on yet for the season”. Madrid doesn’t have air conditioning in early May?? Seems a little odd to me. The front desk luckily found a corded fan for us to use that night, but it was still very hot and uncomfortable. Also, the shower body wash canister was completely empty upon checking in. If these occurrences hadn’t have happened, this would have been an awesome stay.

Very basic rooms, small beds. Shower works well and is the only good thing about these rooms. No A/C, called downstairs to ask for a fan and they said none available, that I should open the window for air. Lots of street noise, garbage truck, police sirens, impossible to sleep with window open at night. Besides nice shower and location within the city this hotel is overpriced and an extremely uncomfortable stay. I am a Spire Elite member that has stayed in 100’s of IHG hotels all over the world.

Stayed here Oct 2023 and had a great and pleasant stay. Breakfast was limited for vegetarians and/or vegans but still very decent. Location is excellent with plenty of retail outlets, restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Centrally located, clean rooms but ours had absolutely no view. Just a view of a patio that we were not permitted to enter. Breakfast was usual European choices, but I was very pleased to see GLUTEN FREE LEMON MUFFINS, and rolls. Bravo!

The hotel itself is good and the staff is very helpful. The room design is bit strange but the location is great. Unfortunately the restaurant and breakfast service drag the benchmark down. The service was rude and unfriendly. When I approached to the fruit area the waitress warned nothing can be taken except consumption there. I was shocked by these words.

Good hotel and good location. Easy to find and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The TV was smart so Netflix loaded easily. Lots of shops and easy walking to everywhere.

The location in relation to the rest of the downtown area is quite convenient and the price is pretty reasonable. One star removed due to the hotel looking somewhat older in the hallways along with the breakfast staff seemingly unprepared at opening two mornings in a row. Overall I really like Hotel Indigo and would stay at this location again.

Really nice location, everything was in a walk distance but also well connected thanks to the Metro proximity. Hotel service was nieve and personnel was friendly. Rooms were quite new but with some lack of space to store clothes, specially for a big family, but good in general.

We stayed at the Princesa on 2 occasions on this trip and both times we were greeted warmly by Jose Luis who was welcoming and courteous. The hotel is in a great location for food, shopping, and visiting tourist spots. We were able to leave our bags here in the cloak check until our return at the end of the trip, it really helped us with our travels. Indigo Princesa offers a straight forward room with the necessary comforts in a clean, safe and convenient location in Madrid. We will definitely come back again.

Great location, very friendly & helpful staff, good bedding, bright & clean bathroom, good breakfast. One minor point to note: there's no gym as shown in the website, probably because they're renovating. Other than that it's a lovely boutique hotel which we would return

The room we stayed in was very tired. The first room we were given had a toilet issue, we complained and they were just going to clean the toilet area but we refused to stay in the room for health concerns and thankfully we were moved. Both rooms we had been in were very dusty so much so we used the hair dryer to blow all the dust into the hallway. The breakfast was a little to be desired, the cooked food was all open with nothing covered, so we chose not to eat anything that was cooked. We went to iron some clothes and the ironing board was all sticky. The staff were doing the best they could do but the hotel looked very understaffed.

The hotel is nice enough to stay in. The location is very close to the metro line and within a 20-minute walk to the central area of Madrid. The service was spotty in the sense that our room door was left open one afternoon by the maid (she forgot to undo the bolt of the door) The hotel also has a restaurant in which the bathrooms are located by the elevators, so you can imagine the smell. Apparently, the hotel also allows smoking in its courtyard, whereby the smoke travels up to the room (our window did not close properly)

Great hotel. Nice room. In a quiet area but yet really close to metro and many busses. The metro like is very convenient. The buses also take you to central areas. Shopping is also nearby. Lots of nice restaurants around too. There's also a cute restaurant in the hotel. Staff is also friendly.

Single night stay booked on loyalty points. Great location. Decent sized room. The bed was excellent. Good service. Small criticism is the bar prices are on the high side.

Not very happy. I booked two queen rooms via IHG points as a Spire Member. Upon arrival in told we're getting upgrades. Get to the rooms and they're each two singles. I ask about the queen and am told they don't even have any. Then I mention how poor the AC is especially for Madrid and the response I get is "Room hasn't been used in 3 or 4 days. AC work great!" It's now 36 hours of the AC being on nonstop and I'm still sweating as I sleep.

I stayed for total of 15 days at this hotel. Convenient location. Comfy bed. However wifi can be spotty during the day and I couldn’t do zoom calls. On the last two days there, I tried to take a shower in the morning around 8 am and no hot water. I had to call front desk and they turned on the hot water. Which is super weird. Good value for the location and the bed.

Great location for seeing all that Madrid has to offer. The rooms were modern in design and clean. Breakfast was a buffet consisting of bacon, eggs, pastries, cereals and breads.

Good location, nice rooms but not worth the money. Also the staff at the reception was not really friendly (especially one of them). We did not feel very welcome but it was okay for a weekend trip.

I stayed here for 3 nights. My first night in room 305 suffered from traffic noise; I asked to be moved and was given an "inside" room with no fuss, which was much better for me. The traffic noise might not bother everyone. Both rooms were clean and had a comfortable bed, large TV and coffee machine. Bathroom was clean with a decent shower. Restaurant staff were friendly and spoke some English. Reception staff also friendly and helpful. Nearest metro is Arguelles on line 6, less than a minute walk. I would stay here again. The photos show room 305. In the outside photo, the hotel is behind the trees to the left.

First of all booked the hotel on Locktrip and saved about 30$ a night compared to other sites , also found this discount code that can be used for extra saving 5GZND. The staff is helpful and friendly. They tried their best to help us check in as soon as possible even if we arrived earlier than the checkin time. They also gave us recommendation and helped us with restaurant and transportation booking. The location is good too, just right next to the metro station. One thing can make the experience better is to, offer some basic daily utensils to the room on request, including water kettles and disposable slippers. (I guess it’s most of the practice in eco-green hotels in Europe, but it’d be good if it can be offer on request.)

As an Diamond Elite member, this was below average stay at an I HG hotel. Check in staff where good but I did not receive an upgrade as a DE member. I ate here two nights and the first night was good with waitress. But on second night waiting staff were aweful unless you were Spanish. The air con. In the room did not work and was always warm. Do yourself a favour and book into a Marriot or Accon hotel.

A hotel that's very nicely in its corporate way designed, with special decor in the rooms and very friendly bar area. In a great location on the edge of the GV district of central Madrid. Very friendly staff. just a great place to stay
