This is a great new local spot for vegans and non-vegans alike. It's family owned and operated and Stephanie the owner is wonderful. I had the "beef" tacos and pizza empanada and both were incredible! I got a delicious iced latte to go. I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite and a coffee.

I’ve been twice now and WOW! The cupcakes are all amazing. Perfectly moist and the density is just right, more on the light and fluffy side but not so much that there’s no bite to it. I feel like every other vegan cupcakes are either super dense and overly moist or dry and crumbly, not Stephanie’s! Move over Parlor 🤭 sorry I said what I said. The triple chocolate was my favorite but I loved them all. And the empanadas are amazing! I’ve had the spinach and cheese, the cheeseburger, and the pizza and all were fabulous. I really couldn’t tell you which was my favorite. I can’t wait to keep going back and trying other items. Thankfully I’m currently pregnant so I have an excuse for a weekly trip here. It’s a little dangerously close to me at only 1.5 miles away though 😅.

They just opened and are sooo nice! Check out their menu online! Empanadas, pastilitos, cupcakes, breakfast, smoothies, breads and more! So excited! And they are eco friendly, no plastic take away containers!

Charming Bakery in FTL loaded with lots of yummy goodies. Fully plant based with plenty of options from smoothies, juices, croissants, empanadas and I can’t forget the divine Guava and cheese pastelito! Yes yes yes it was everything and more. Iron man smoothie gives you that peanut butter fantasy. Can’t wait to come back 😊

if you are not vegan or gluten-free, please please do not skip this place! Even if you’re not a vegan you are going to love it. I just tried the gluten-free and vegan sausage and egg and cheese burrito and of course I always order the soup that is vegetable. I am so so happy that this place is close to my house :-) and they are so extremely pleasant so it’s a plus to visit! I have not actually gone in yet, but I have spoken to them on the phone because I order through Uber eats. But I will be visiting soon! Thank you Stephanie and Manny! I wish you and your business the best of luck and thank you so much for thinking about us celiac people and vegan people

Absolutely wonderful place for vegan breakfast, lunch, and dessert. We tried the egg everything avocado toast. It was perfect. I also tried the chocolate croissant (this is the first chocolate vegan croissant I’ve found in Florida!) and it did not disappoint. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. Nicely decorated.

I was so excited to see a new vegan spot open not far from our neighborhood (LBTS), but didn’t have a chance to try them before leaving on a long business trip. On the flight back home, the lady next to me started a conversation with me about local restaurants, and when I mentioned being vegan she said “Have you tried Stephanie’s Vegan Bakery yet?! They’re amazing! I’m not vegan but my best friend is and when she goes, I insist on going with her.” I was so thankful for this nudge from this excited stranger and made my way to Stephanie’s that same weekend. I had the vegan tacos (soy-free Beyond meat, not Impossible ✅), the “beef” quesadilla, and a gluten-free chocolate brownie. My gawd… 🤤 You can definitely tell a Dominican put their foot in the seasoning because the way those flavor profiles are set up! Just wow. My gf and I have ordered this same combo at least 3 times in the last 2 weeks and I don’t think we’ll be stopping anytime soon. They have many great GF options, too! I wish this family all the best in their business endeavors. Such kind, personable people. Oh, and let’s not forget about the cute decor they have going on. 😍Welcome the neighborhood!

Stephanie's Began Bakery and Deli is a real fine especially if you are looking for a place that is true to a vegan diet. Stephanie herself helped me and was fantastic at explaining all that she produces. The menu is broad for such a location and I'm sure when people discover this wonderful gem will be full of hungry folks whether they only want vegan foods or just interested in healthy plant based offerings. I got a number of items to try and excited to share with family. Stephanie's is THE spot to go when on the run for great home-made foods.

Amazing!! Came here because a friend recommended it and it's amazing! My favorite was the vegan carrot cake, Mediterranean wrap and vegan beef street tacos. Definitely coming back for a guava and cheese pastelito 😍 The place is incredibly clean, beautiful and the owners take great care of customers. They gave me a small extra portion of the smoothie my boyfriend ordered to try also 😄

WOW! Thank you Stephanie and your amazing staff! The food has really raised the bar for vegan options, all the sauces are homemade, super clean and gorgeous inside as well.

I am so grateful this bakery opened up in East Ft Lauderdale! So far everything I’ve tried I have loved. The cupcakes are perfect icing to cake ratio and not overly sweet like all of the other vegan bakeries. The empanadas are delish. Iced latte was perfect. The beef tacos are something I crave and now have to have once a week. Can’t wait to try all the other menu items.

This place is absolutely amazing. It was a rare gem we were so lucky to find while we were visiting. The tacos were incredible. The ginger tea was just right. The sauces were to die for. The crust was so flaky and perfectly made on the pastilitos. The decor, music, and lighting made the experience even more enjoyable. I am trained in culinary, and I have been cooking for 24 years. I love fine dining, and this is better vegan food than they make in top-notch restaurants with vegan options. It is better than many fine dining vegan restaurants in many aspects, and it's very affordable. We ordered, ate some and then invited our friends and got more food for our road trip. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants some amazing, healthy food in the area.

The food is amazing! Great selection of vegan items. We tried a few pastelitos, empanadas and the beef quesadilla, and all of them tasted amazing. Some of the best ones we’ve ever eaten. We will be back soon!

Easily my favorite bakery! And not just my favorite vegan bakery. For starters, it’s way more than a bakery and you’d never know it was vegan by the taste. And even better- they use soy free products! This is very difficult to accomplish in vegan food but is testimony of the care of the owners put into their ingredients. It’s a ma and pa owned place and they are the most kindest and caring people you’ll ever meet. They treat their customers with utmost respect, very fair prices (esp considering the quality of food) and amazing coffee and teas! The best part is you can fill yourself up with savory and sweet with a wide selection/variety of food and you don’t leave with a stomach ache because the quality of food and ingredients leaves you energized- how we SHOULD feel after a meal. Stephanie and her husband Manny are very kind people doing what they love and sharing their tasty gifts with the world. Highly recommend

Love that we have a local, vegan bakery! The bakery itself is very nicely presented and the staff were very helpful and polite. Pastries were good, love that we have somewhere that caters to dietary restrictions. Looking forward to trying the empanadas and cupcakes next time :)

Do not walk, RUN to this place. I took 4 non vegans here and everyone was raving about EVERYTHING. The toast and bagels are out of this world. What a happy accident we had stumbling upon this place on our way to the airport. Valerie made our coffees and they were delicious! Especially the white chocolate latte. We will be back, possibly to order the entire menu! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My all-time favorite place to eat in Ft. Lauderdale. I always get the street tacos, cheeseburger empanada, spinach and cheese empanada, and my new favorite Caramel Apple Croissant. Oh and can’t leave without a cookies and cream cupcake or cinnamon roll. Dark Chocolate Oatmylk Latte is my favorite coffee drink with some agave.

We had the chocolate croissant and the cheeseburger empanada. Both were yummy! Will definitely come back here

Gluten Free Options They have delicious gluten free and vegan treats and savoury items. Great service. Good coffee. We ordered and really enjoyed the gluten free pumpkin and blueberry muffins and pizza empanada plus two lattes. Excellent. Super cute place with a great vibe.

Every time I come in here I’m greeted with a smile and a hello. They are down to earth people with a great business concept. I love all their vegan items including the non dairy options for coffee. I feel good about everything I get here, even the mini carrot cake =P.

Super cute vegan cafe! Stephanie is a sweetheart and I just love that her place is 100% PLANT BASED. As a vegan, I often crave eggs and I am so glad I got to satisfy my craving 2 mornings in a row with the bacon/sausage egg & cheese breakfast sandwich. I am sad I live so far away from this spot because I am sure I would be a regular!

Absolutely delicious vegan cafe / bakery. Savory & sweet options, in addition to beverages. It’s 100% vegan, but even the meat eaters I’ve taken there have enjoyed it. You can get a full meal - not just a snack & coffee. It is expensive, but worth it!

Great food and amazing, clean, beautiful and positive atmosphere. I had a delicious empanada and would’ve ordered more if I had more of an appetite but the selection of desserts looked divine!! The bathroom was very clean and it was a super homey space.
