I was visiting Lausanne for the first time. Lovely city. As it was the weekend, we got a chance to check the night life in this town. On Saturday night, we had finished a training session. My English colleagues and I decided to pop into a decent looking Tex Mex. Mistake!!. The restaurant manager, a young woman, looked at us. We asked if she spoke English. She looked at us in a stern way and said no. She asked if we were going to eat. We advised, as best we could, we only wanted some drinks. She pointed to an area and said see if you find a space. Luckily we were able to. We sit down, it took a little while to get served. But eventually a young girl came and tried to take our order. Her English was not at all good. So she called her English speaking colleague. It turned out they both some Spanish. So her colleague started talking the order. At this point, the first manager we encountered came over to our table. She asked what was going on. She looked at the first assistant with and evil eye and immediately told her to come away with her. It was obvious she was about to give a telling off to this girl. We asked the second assistant what was happening. She just looked at us and said she did not care. She advised she just wanted to take our order. Talk about working in a toxic environment. Anyway, when our servings were ready, it was the original manager who brought them to us. She really did not look happy with us. We had decided to offer nachos. She brought these to us. She also, at the same time, gave our bill. We are not bad people, we had really enjoyed the city and people. This restaurant left s really bad experience for us. We will not visit ever again. I always say to people, check the venue out for yourself. But on this occasion, I would suggest there may be better Tex Mex places. Until they improve customer service and accept the customer is the person whose money they want.

I booked this place weeks in advance as soon as the live event was published. I arrived at the restaurant at 8pm accordingly to my reservation and I waited 30 minutes before having my table (just because the waitress was busy). Behind me there was a big waiting line of around 20 people. Finally sat at my table I was not able to watch anything of the live event as I was at the last table behind the pillar. I asked for a better table but it was not possible. After another 20 min waiting I was able to order and I got my plate only at 10.30pm. Waitresses are rude. Place absolutely to avoid.

Food was good. Unfortunately the service was not at all at the same level. We received the dish after 1h20m. At that point we reminded the waiter about the appetizer and drinks we had ordered. We finished the plate and the drinks were not yet there (we managed to get some water for the dinner). We canceled the appetizer, then the drinks arrived at the end. My fork, instead, never arrived. When paying we found out that the cocktail and the wine were costing more than what written in the menu. Apparently they changed the menu recently and the poor service was linked to this change. The waiter was cool though. Clearly it wasn't his fault. Anyway, i will not have the urge of trying again the same place or recommend it to anyone.

I was with Rashid on our visit to this venue, I concur absolutely awful customer service and wasn't made to feel welcome at all as a non French speaking customer. The bar absolutely must invest in better customer service training and accept that a good percentage of their customers will be foreign tourists which will help to keep them in business! As of right now, I cannot recommend this bar at all to tourists, massive thumbs down for me!!!!!!!

It's too expensive for what you get. Our group had to beg for more fajita filling because it just wasn't enough. The theme of the place is too "devilish" which I personally don't like. The food and the service are good though.

It is very sad that we watched the football World Cup Final in this place. 1. They only let us in 15mins before the match. 2. Screens were not working for the first 20mins. Even if it works for a second, it broke right after. Apparently the staff cannot do anything for it. (Or at lead that’s what we have been told) 3. Bad service. When I said 2 blonde beer, the servicer gave me 2 IPA instead. 😂I had to line up more than 10mins for that. 4. Agressive waiters. When my friend confronted the waiter for not working on the turning back on the MATCH. The waiter just said that its not our responsibility if the TV is off/not on. Also, the waiter said shut up in French to my friend, pretty sure this is not how you handle your clients when you charge extra for world cup. So Bravo Tacos Bar, its my first time and my last time.

The food is really delicious. There is an opportunity to play billiards as well.

Great atmosphere and music but food quality is average

Great selections of drinks, big screen TVs to follow the match. The onion rings are super, so are the fajitas, avoid the "guacamole". Friendly staff.

Service really worst ever, half hour to get attended, then half hour to get drinks, literally took 2.5h between entering and getting food...and the food, a lot, big quantities but low quality. Update, To answer on reply from Tacos, I didn't cheat, I am not dishonest, I didn't leave without paying, what kind of restaurant are you to blame me like this?! I was with the group where one person paid for all at the end. And the problem was not just with one waiter, but with all, all were slow in delivering everything, from drinks, starter, main dishes and deserts. So please, don't blame the new person, and making an excuse for being a bad restaurant.

Chill place to play pool and snack some nachos in a Sunday evening! There was a weird heavy smell though.

Great ambiance and very good food. They were very nice as I went for my girlfriend's birthday and they offered free drinks. A bit on the expensive side although I find it is justified. Would recommend!

Some of the best pools tables in Lausanne!

I have been to this place several times with groups of friends. Each time ordered different foods and drinks. I would rate the quality of food and drinks 3/5. The staff manners and quality of service 3/5 The prices compared to food quality 1/5 And the ambience especially when live music or a fest is going on 4/5. I can bet the quality of original meat served in this place is similar to the one that is being sold in butcher stores at Renens (sourced from France and old) with a maximum price of 20chf per kilos priced after cooking to be about 40chf each 100-150 gram. The bergers many times are not even cooked decently. I assume cold bergers from fridge are cooked over very high heat. My recommendation for drinks there is the bottle beers from london, and for the food the beef fajitas. The ribs quality they serve can be bought for 1/4th of the price in “canadian bar”, but same quality. The only thing that would encourage me to go there is the vibe when you are there in large groups. One last note, in this place I didn’t interact with a single Mexican (not among staffs not among customers)

Mixed appetizers were very tasty. Beef fajitas were ok. Chicken wings & 🍗 were good. Beef tacos looked nice too. Service was attentive. Spacious for groups. Closed right at midnight.
