Excellent sushi take away. The fish is always fresh and tasty and the prices are not too expensive. It is usually prepared on the spot and the waiting time is quite short. The staff is nice and there are usually parking spots in front of the restaurant. It is also easily accessible by bus.

Hokaido is the best sushi place in Lausanne in price quality wise by far. The fish always tastes fresh, and since its so popular among locals I would assume it is bought daily. I have been there more than 30 times, satisfied all the time. 5/5

I think it deserves a 5. It's really cheap in comparison to other places, they are extremely fast, polite and the ingredients are fresh. They make the sushi on the spot, in front of you. There are also 2 vegetarian menus. Not fully convinced by the rice but minor detail overall.

I’ve tried aaaall the sushi’s around Lausanne and can assure you that it’s not just the best but also very affordable. Also, it’s very comfortable that you can order before coming through Facebook or by phone.

I ordered by phone and picked up it 15min later. Fresh made sushi, good rice, tasty dimsums. Very good price to quality and quantity!

Great sushi every time!

I used to go here almost every day for lunch before I moved and this is by far the best sushi place in Switzerland. Maybe in all of Europe. The salmon is incredibly fresh and they kill it every time with the sushi rice. The menu g is spectacular (esp w two salty soy sauce packets mixed in) and might be the best dish I’ve ever been served. All the other sushi places have absolutely nothing on Hokkaido. The workers are extremely talented and the sushi is basically always fresh, on the rare occasion that it isn’t fresh, it hasn’t been sitting around for more than 30 mins. This is a place I will take my wife for our first date together. The one complaint I will have is that the drinks used to be included with the menu, but with the amazing price I will always pay extra for the sweet green tea. All other sushi places in Switzerland are rarely fresh, and very expensive. These guys are the best. But please don’t go here, I don’t want a bunch of people to be in line every time I go. This is Switzerlands best kept secret

The ingredients are fresh, the service is good, the preparation is fast. I go there 4-6 times a month and even if it means a bigger waiting line, and bring more customers, I definitely recommend it

Tasty, not too expensive, fast and friendly service. However, doesn't really look like you can eat there, it's only take-away.
