Simply perfect galettes. The wine and outside seating completed the experience deserving all 5 stars. The menu was in French, but the wide selection was carefully explained to me (I was even able to change my mind once!). Unfortunately, I was too full to order a crepe afterwards but it is #1 in the to go list if I come to Lausanne again!

Always a pleasure to eat here. The crêpes and galettes are delicious, the staff is nice, the place welcoming. Service is quick. I would recommend to make a reservation before going. We took a bottle of Kerisac cider (doux), which is perfect with crêpes. The prices are reasonable.

Really nice relaxing evening. Enjoyed the crêpes we had immensely. We shared a few kinds...none disappointed. Glad we arrived early and got a table. Seems best to book as it is very popular

Crowded place especially on the weekend - better book the table. Gallete/Crepe tasted nice. Service's great. The restaurant is small but in summer you can sit relaxing outside at the terrace. The only improvement suggestion I have, please use fresh mushrooms instead of canned one.

This place is amazing, my new favorite crêpe restaurant 😍 🙌. The crêpes and galettes are big and full of flavor, one galette per person and one crêpe to share is way more than enough. PD: The are going to be on vacation until August 20.

The best chocolate crepe I have ever tasted. The dough of the crepes is so good, and the chocolat maison is delicious. 100% recommend this place. On top of the crepes being very good, the staff is very nice and welcoming. Would give more than 5 stars if it was possible!!

Lovely galettes and service was really good. Looks are deceiving, the galettes are very rich. We all ordered something different and everybody enjoyed their galette. Next time I will order a sweet one, I look forward to it.

Picturesque creperie below Lausanne Cathedral. It's always busy so best to book a table. In summer, they have outdoor seating on the terrace, though service there can be slower than if you are seated indoors. Very kind staff. Lots of variety of savory or sweet crepes. Vegetarian catered for, though most savory crepes have cheese. (I'm sure they would make a crepe without cheese if you asked though.) Note that mushrooms come in brine and aren't fresh--although this is mentioned on the menu. Prices correct.

CATASTROPHIC service: 3.5 hours for 2 sets of 2 pancakes. I booked a table ahead of time the day before and wasn’t proposed the option of seating outdoors at booking. Then today we were refused to be seated outside while multiple tables were still available. Dessert pancakes swimming in melted butter. Simply CANNOT recommend. AVOID until they improve their service!

Was there at the end of April with my hubby : ) It was a pleasant experience with the service being friendly and quick, the food deliciously prepped and enjoyable outside in the little garden. It was my first visit to the city of Lausanne and after the tour through downtown, the perfect spot for recovering energies with a glass of Rose and tasty crèpes : ) Thank you La Chandeleur team, will not hesitate to come back again during my next spell in the city !

Crepes of every description and very busy - especially at the weekends. Service was good and prompt but had to wait an age for our lunch. Crepes were, IMHO, overdone and were quite crispy - which seemed weird.

Great choice of crêpes, good ideas and combinations - the food is good but definitely not impressive, it could be so much better. Lots of space for improvement both in plating and taste. Coffee is the hipsta sour kind, I personally hate it.

Crepes are delicious but the service is horrific. We’ve been kicked out at a specific time twice now, even if tables around us were empty and the other customers who had booked clearly could have been seated at one of the free tables. The staff is trying to be nice but the lack of flexibility and communication skills are really bad. Once we were informed that we don’t have time for dessert, even before they had brought our orders. We had ordered a good 30 min before… we were still waiting.

Really good crepes, a bit expensive for what they are, but they taste wonderful. The waitress was very welcoming and quite funny. If you are looking for a genuine Lausanne experience, you should definitely go there and have a cider and a Crepe Monsieur Seguin.

4.5/5- very nice galettes and crepes! Came back twice even though the environment was noisy. Overall, I love it! Edited- came back the other day when there’s less people, the crepe was 10/10!

The prices are more than correct. There is a great variety of choices. The staff are super nice and the ambience is cozy. Good place to share a meal between friends or with the family.

I tried this place once without reservations. The guy said they don’t have a place to sit outside and I can choose among the ones that are not reserved so I chose one and he asked me to move to another table where the reserve sign was and switched the sign between the two tables. So I didn’t get a good first impress that I am welcomed. I had to take the menus also myself. I was with 2 friends.We ordered a drink and a crepe each. I didn’t like the taste and combination of any of the three crepe and drinks. I ordered crepe of sarrasin and have tried them freshly made at home many times. I could tell the first ingredients were not super fresh/high quality. On the positive side the ambience was nice, and the food didn’t seem overpriced. But didn’t seem my taste neither.

Great crepes and wonderful service. All the outdoor tables were reserved, so if you want to sit outside make sure to make a reservation!! They were kind enough to let us eat outside anyways as long as we finished by 8pm, so we were treated to a lovely meal.

Crepe restaurant close to the cathedral and shopping area. Has a nice outside area to sit in. When I arrived greatly warmly and sat down outside. Nice selection of wine but they also specialise in cider. I tried both and the rose is good. The crepe selection is good as I had a savoury and sweet one. Service is very good as well. Prices are reasonable for Lausanne.

My wife and I came upon this lovely crêperie in January 2022 while visiting Lausanne. Wonderful crêpes, very nice ambience, and very attentive staff.
