We just had a cheesburger and a vegetarian sandwich. here are the facts: The person taking our order was nice and patient for someone who was eating there for the first time the cheeseburger was somewhat good, similar to what McDonalds offers for their version of the cheeseburger. Nevertheless, continue to read now why I only rate this experience with 1 star (would actually like to rate it 0 stars). we ordered to eat in, the food was served in a paper bag - take away style there is only 1 toilet for both, women and men - did not think this was something we can do in Switzerland today as a restaurant.. overall interior does not really look inviting to stay there to be honest the vegetarian sandwich was more of a discounter sandwich we can buy for a few bucks, not the experience one would expect. last but not least, we paid more than 37CHF for a cheeseburger (18.-, burger only!!!). Medium fries were at 7.50, quality so so. In short, this is the first and last time we ate at Five Guys Lausanne, or Five Guys in general. This was a disappointing experience, unfortunately. Luckily, we have better choices in Lausanne such as Holy Cow or Zoo Burger, where value for money definitely are in a better equilibrium. And one more comment for the City of Lausanne: I am very astonished how the city can give away such prime locations to places of such low quality (by the way, not the only place the city has failed in this sense). This nice and central corner definitely has some merit to host a more worthy shop or restaurant. Unfortunately, the city has so many fabulous sites which are simply not managed nicely... Please consider this as a friendly input on how this city could improve. Good luck

Die Filiale ist einem sehr schönen und ehrwürdigen alten Gebäude. Leider musste ich extrem lange auf den Burger warten (ca 10 Minuten). Dafür war er sehr lecker und die Mitarbeiter waren echt freundlich. Ich bin extra von St.Gallen nach Lausanne gefahren, weil ich Bock auf Five Guys hatte. Leider gibt es momentan erst 3 Filialen in der Schweiz. Zwei in Genf und eine in Lausanne. Die Preise sind auch gesalzen. Ich hatte insgesamt 30 Franken ausgegeben. 18 Franken für den Burger, 7 Franken für die Pommes und 5 Franken für die Pommes. Aber man muss auch sagen das die Burger um Welten besser sind als die vom Mac oder Burger King. Denn die Zutaten sind wirklich alle frisch. 2020 möchte Five Guys ja eine Filiale in Zürich eröffnen. Ich hoffe sehr, dass sie auch schon bald nach St.Gallen kommen. Ansonsten muss ich wieder mal nach München fahren :-)

Went there for dinner, wanted to order the hotdog but they said they had no cheese left (very strange???) So I opted for the BLT sandwich instead with fries. After a ridiculous 25 mins of waiting, I reached home, opened the package only to find a burger instead of my BLT sandwich! Literally just bun, patties, bacon, and bun. I don't even feel bad for whoever got my BLT, at least that had some sauce and veggies in it. Bad overpriced service.

I guess if you really like hamburgers this place is ok, but also nothing more than ok. I honestly found the burger, dripping with fat, kind of disgusting and threw half of it away. Way overpriced too. Come on this is just fastfood... 30+ CHF for a menu is just ridiculous. Avoid this "restaurant".

Ja der Burger wird nicht jedem gefallen und ja er ist nicht günstig. Mir hat er sehr geschmeckt und ich finde ihn auch zahlbar. Ein handlicher Burger im Ami-Style in einem authentischen Imbiss. Wenn man rausschaut hat man schon fast das Gefühl man sitzt in NY. Schade gibts Five Guys nur in Lausanne und Genf in der Schweiz. Geheimtipp: Erdnussbutter-Shake mit Bacon.

I've always heard good things from Five Guys in the US and now I finally had the chance to try it out myself in Switzerland. For a Bacon cheese burger, you pay 20 francs. Large fries are 9 francs. 29 francs, without a drink. It's ridiculously expensive. The quality is high, not going to lie, but definitely not worth the price. Hence 3 stars only. The beef and sauce and other toppings are great, but the buns are soggy. Tasty, but way too soggy. The fries are really good, but 9 francs? Lol, no thanks. Anyway, if it's your first time, you should definitely try it. But otherwise your money is better spent elsewhere.

Had to remind them I had ordered a milkshake. I had to ask for a different top or it would have spilled on the walk home. Hardly anyone was there yet poor service. Burger was badly packed and ships were too salty. Too expensive for the quality and service

Freundliches Personal,Restaurant sehr sauber. Jedoch unangenehme Temperaturen im Sommer Klimaanlage lief wohl nicht 100%. Ansonsten gibts nichts negatives,alles frisch zubereitet und sehr fein.

If you want a five guys experience don't go here. Downstairs smelled piss, tables were dirty. Burgers were ok, but I had better in other FG store.

The fries are good (even if not the best this time compared to Geneva 5 guys), needs to improve appearance and preparation of the hamburger, needs better visual aspect. A bit overpriced as well compare with other choices in Lausanne

I eat there to try, I will never go back in. Too much salt, sugar, fat and expensif... Big place almost empty I recieved my meal in a lunch bag like others even when eating on place, seriously I paid so much for that kind of bad services... that is not a concept but a Shame.

Their burgers are very juicy and delicious. You can even customize the toppings for a variety of choices with no cost. Fries are always like an upsize. And its fresh not frozen. Drinks (variety of Coca Cola products) are unlimited. And peanuts too. Condiments like ketchup and mayonnaise are unlimited. Their kitchen is very open. Customers can see how they prepare your food. Five Guys crew speaks English. At least most of them. The place is very spacious. I think their food prices is just right for the satisfaction and convenience you will experience when you dine at Five Guys. For burger fanatics alike Five Guys is highly recommended.

I'm general I like the chain. I know in which country this place is located. but seriously - for the price of burger, fries and milkshake - 38CHF you can get way nicer food in a restaurant.

Solid burger. Great toppings and topping option. Cajun fries are awesome and they usually put extra fries in the bottom of the brown bag you get your food in. 😋 yum!

I have been to several five guys and everytime I ask for saltless fries they would do it. But the rude person in Lausanne Five Guys wouldn’t do it. And because he didn’t like me complaining, he gave the people who came after me their burgers first and made me wait.

Food was good, although a little overpriced even for Switzerland in my opinion. Restaurant was severely understaffed, the ice cube dispenser broke and parts of the machine fell into my drink… And the toilets were very disgusting.

1. Viel zu teuer. Ein Burger von niederiger Qualität mit geschmacklosem Patty kostet bereits 20 CHF. Pommes mmit Geträbke und Burger mund 30 CHF 2. Es gibt keine Menus, man muss alles einzeln bestellen wird dadurch auch teurer. Wenig Saucen zur Auswahl für Pommes 3. Es gibt keine Automaten muss an der Kasse bestellen 4. Die Getränke sund warm

Die Burger sind unglaublich lecker! Die Pommes sind auch unglaublich gut. Bei den Getränken hat man eine unglaublich grosse Auswahl von Getränken und man kann immer wieder auffüllen ohne zusätzliche Gebühr. Während der Wartezeit kann man sich bei den Erdnüssen bedienen (Gratis) Der Preis ist OK den es wird alles frisch zubereitet wie bei anderen hochwertigen Burgerladen. Schade gibt es in St.Gallen keinen FiveGuys.

Very good milkshake and fries, amazing quality and taste. Also generally good service. However, the prices are quite high (even by Swiss standards), but the food you get is quality.

My first time at five guys, hamburger really good, meat well cooked and bacon perfectly crispy, probably the best fries i ever had Only down side was the absence of tray or plate to eat at the table But otherwise a very good experience

Ordered five guys fries and it’s on the salty side. It’s definitely understaff here especially on a Sunday night.

Absolute scam!!! 15.- for a little cheeseburger that is less tasty and nutritious than a Burger King cheeseburger costing only 3.40.-. these people are crazy. Besides service is too long. Never again!!!

Friendly staff. Burgers and fries are good but just so expensive for a fast food even for a restaurant, 20chf burger 6 chf fries and 5 chf soda. Alright they said everything is homemade but 5 the soda . Better than Macdonald but Macdonald costs 15 and this should cost 20 instead of 30. And on top of that there’s not a single plug.

The person who were taking our order was nice. The burger were juicy and good all the way. You can have the extra juicy feeling if you want too.. they Don’t charge for extra sauce. They need to work on the fries. Other than that, we had a good time.
