This place looks amazing and smells amazing! The scent of freshly grounded coffee mingle in the place. Me and my partner both had an espresso, he had standard and me vanilla infuse and both were very silky smooth and full of flavour. Nice place for a quick break. Definitely recommend!:)

An excellent coffeehouse and experience with superior coffee and pastry! I had a flat white that can’t be outdone and a chestnut cake that was outstanding! It’s important to note that Cafe Solo today really has two locations. The original smaller roastery and across the street the fancier tea saloon.

Café Solo is by far the BEST coffee place I have ever been to, both in France and in the United States. Not to mention their extensive selection of different coffees, the owner and the baristas go above and beyond to cater to what you want, are extremely hospitable. They honestly make you feel welcome into the shop. The store is classy and has a second floor with seating which is great for reading, studying and working. Although my stay here in Montpellier is brief, I’ve been telling all of my friends about it, and it will be the first cafe I come to visit during my next trip!!

What a delight to find this coffee shop with a great variety of coffee beans and tea! Finally a place that makes great iced latte without me having to explain how to make it! Love the interior and the service! Will definitely come back!

The moment I stumbled upon this place, it felt like I was going back in time embarking on a journey through the history of humanity to discover the first time Coffe plant was discovered in Ethiopia and Yemen imported to Istanbul Venice and the ports of Marseille rescuing finally to Paris. The enchanting scents of this place put a spell on you and tickle your taste buds until you’ve browsed the diverse collection of the big bags of coffee beans placed together like potions of magic lined up for you to try them all on a daily basis as if you’d toured the world subconsciously. The owner made the shop her home and welcomed all clients with profound warmth as if they were paying a visit to her vintage castle that makes a shelter against any sadness or mundane world stress. She roasts the coffee beans with her magical machine - shown in the photos - places them in transparent boxes and grinds them upon your request. Strongly recommend this hidden gem established in 1930.
