We have just returned from a 5 day stay at this campsite and we thought it was excellent. The site has a nice feel, the pitches aren't huge but they are well organised and the location is good. The on site bar & food is excellent and is better than anything we have seen at other campsites. There is only one toilet block but it's well located and the facilities are clean and work well so this isn't an issue. The pool next door is very good, a decent size and lots of room to sunbathe around the edge or to sit and read, we could use this at no extra cost, which our children enjoyed. Overall I would definitely recommend and I'm sure we will return if back in the area.

Huge campsite in a lovely location! Very large pitches and pleasantly private with hedges separating them. Got some cold, delicious beer from the reception that's locally brewed and made the evening even more enjoyable! The bathrooms were clean enough, but very dated and in need of an update. Toilet stalls were really small and cramped. Otherwise can't complain about our stay here! FYI, watch out for frogs on the way to the bathrooms in the evening, in the single night we stayed here I saw two on the sidewalk just outside! 🐸

Not our favourite campsite. The pitches weren’t very private. There were no hedges etc around them. We could get over that but our issue was that there was only one toilet/shower/sink block for the entire campsite which was located near reception. Our pitch was at the back of the campsite so it was not convenient and there was usually a queue. The toilets/showers were clean enough but could have done with more of them!

A lovely municipal camp site on the outskirts of Angers at Pont de Se. Generous sized pitches and plenty of shade make a great place for a lazy afternoon. Facilities are clean and modern and well sized. Easy to visit Angers by taking the No.3 bus which stops about 200 yard ls from the front of the site. About a15 minute journey to the city which was the historic seat of the Plantagenets. Reasonably priced with an ACSI card

Great location to cycle into Angers. The campsite is nice and well looked after. The pitches would be great in the peak of summer with lots of shade, but with a little rain they turned into a little mud baths as there isn't much grass on some of the pitches. Nice though with good facilities, nice staff and good location. Would visit again

The camping pitches weren’t very private and all cars were also parked there which doesn’t give a ‘slow’ or nature feeling. Felt chaotic and there were also no hedges around them. We could get over that but our issue was that there was only one very old toilet/shower/sink block for the entire campsite. Literally 3 ladies toilets in use. We are a family with a five year old daughter and booked the camping for 2 weeks we left unfortunately earlier. Fine camping if you stay 1 or 2 days, what most of the people did on our pitch. Positive: the girls at the reception are really friendly and helpfull.

Average campsite . Aesthetically nice bar area and restaurant. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food. Poor outdated and inadequate toilet and shower facilities. Pitches rather cramped. Site tries to sell itself as something it’s not . It’s a rebranded municipal camp.

Very enjoyable stay at Slow Village campsite. The girls on reception couldn't do enough for you and the site facilities were more than acceptable. Good site.
