What a nice find! For 3.40€ you gain enterance to this clean pool on a boat, on the Seine! Already starting off strong. Facilities are clean, with plenty of lockers (you drop a euro in to get the key and get your euro back once you return the key), showers, and changing rooms. The lower deck has a 4 lane swimming pool. The two outer lanes seem to be for slow swimmers, waders, and teenagers who aren't too serious about laps (note: swim caps are mandatory for everyone in this pool, but can be purchased on site). There are boards, life jackets, and other swim "tools" free to use. Past the main pool is a kiddie pool for hanging out, lounging and kids and families (swim caps not needed). Upstairs is the hang out zone, with lots of chairs to sun bathe and rest (note: you can bring your food and eat it here, which I'd highly recommend. It's a great picnic spot!). I spent 4 hours here today and enjoyed it very much! Will definitely be back! :)

Great outdoor swimming pool on Seine river. It has four lanes with depth going from 1.2 meters in one end to 2 meters in another. Changing room is spacious, plenty of lockers (have 1 euro coin to use it), showers. This place asks to book a time online and charges 6.50€ for 2 hours. You also must wear a cap while swimming and swim in proper swimming gear, not loose shorts. The facility has an upper floor terrace that has a nice view of Seine and many sunbeds for sunbathing and relaxation.

Visited last week. Thought it was excellent on a scorching day in Paris. Staff really helpful. Bring in your own food and drink. Floats available for kids. We had to register on website to book slots as really busy - used the hotel address as non residents. Setting is great - on a barge on the Seine. Lycra shorts and swim caps required - 6 euro and 3 euro from nearby Decathlon 👍

I’ll surely miss this pool, highly recommended for anyone visiting Paris looking for a solid swim overlooking the Seine river. For my US friends reminder to wear tight fitting swim wear e.g jammers. No loss fitting swim shorts are allowed. Also, carry 1 euro for locker use.

Nice place. Went on Saturday. At 17, not many people. Cool to sunbath. Amazing view. Smells a bit chlorine. Lots of kids.

The pool has an a isolated y amazing view of the Seine river. It’s my favorite pool in summer where you can tan and swim. The ticket is not expensive at all especially for kids and students. Even though the pool is small and may get crowded sometimes, it’s a lovely place over all!

Stumbled across this wonderful pool whilst strolling along the Seine. Staff very friendly, on reception, in the pool & changing area. I was on holiday and managed to squeeze in a swim before heading home. All very clean. Hot showers and free hairdryers. Only €4 snd €1 for locker which is refunded. Really enjoyed- thank you!

Visitor stay away, pool charges more for non-locals also requires swim caps and specific swimsuit and charge for both. Also pool and change rooms were both dirty and there where only 2 very crowded lanes to swim in. A 1 hour visit at this pool cost us more that going up the Eiffel Tower. View of the Seine from the pool was disappointing. Would not recommend too pricey too small and not worth going even if it was free. Must give credit though to the single staff member that was kind and generous to us.

As of mid-July 2023, the small splash pool for kids is filled with fake grass & sunbathing chairs. Large pool has a shallow area approx 1/3-1/4 of the full length at 0.9m depth

Josephine Baker Pool is a bit small but has everything you need plus a big terrace on the first floor. It’s in the open air next to the river which makes It special and adds to the experience of visiting Paris. Since I’m a swimmer I have been to many pools and I really liked this one. Especially since It’s so clean, the whole time we saw a staff member cleaning the changing rooms. I would definitely go back here when I’m visiting Paris.

Had to queue outside before it opened at 6pm and a security guard let us in. Entry price of €6.50 which was expensive for the size of the pool (less than 20m). It wasn’t a modern interior inside. There was a foot bath upon entry full of floating dirt from peoples feet…which many people had put their feet in which wasn’t the nicest first impression. The pool looked green from the outside and when in the pool there was a yellow rim around the bottom which felt disgusting. Saw multiple white worms and Very low chlorine content for a public pool. Wasn’t comfortable with how clean the water was which made for an unpleasant experience. The lane was discipline was not in action. The lifeguards were talking non stop, which was worrying. There is a romance going on between a mature lady lifeguard and a younger man. Very unprofessional to see. Will not be returning. Not a clean place for children to play.

Very crowded in the summer months and not ideal if you're actually looking to swim laps. If you arrive past 10am, no point in even checking the upstairs deck for a chair, they'll all be taken! The pool is not as clean as it could be either, white particles floating around in the water.

You should wait min 30-45 mn to get in. The pool is very small. If the aim is to swim this s not the place. The pool is very dirty. It took us about 5 mn to realise how dirty the pool is. Terrible experience.
