Amazing! So glad I found this place! The interior is so cozy and beautifully done. The staff are so friendly (i’ve had horrible experiences in the other snobby bars in Rouen. This was a nice change) the cocktails - just magical!! I had the cocktail with a a hint of saffron infusion (along with cognac, rum and another syrup) was called Le Baroudeur - one of the best cocktails I’ve personally had and highly recommend. The finger food/bites they had were delicious! Highly recommend the Gyoza. Thank you for the experience L’Absinthe! You are in my top 3 bars I’ve been to.

On-point rating 9,5 We ordered: - charcuterie - cocktail du moment - absinthe The cocktails where smooth and delicious, the charcuterie is great and the absinthe… just absinthe. Service is super, atmosphere great in an awesome building. Only thing i could say is its maybe a bit pricey, but then im being un une couleur da mouche…something like that. Love the place and the waitress is hot

I’m pretty sure it’s a great place in terms of cocktails, however I haven’t tried one. I came there and wished to be seated next to the bartender to be able to strike some conversation. But alas.. there’s no place at the bar. For me cocktail culture is a possibility of a dialog. Here I haven’t seen it. The place wants you to be away from the bartender - the approach I cannot support.

Great bar with a fine selection of cocktail creations and lots of nice local and regional beers on tap, many organic ones as well. Friendly staff. Definitely a place to come back to.

Truly excellent, unplanned cocktail experience. Waited for a short time at an outside table looking at the square before getting a cosy spot for two indoors. It’s clearly a popular place so if you go at weekend you’ll probably wait. We had the Kashmir & New York Sour cocktails which were both really great. As we’re the gyozas and small chips we had as appetizers. We’ll be back!
