Very enjoyable tour into the tower and behind the clock. The view from the top was phenomenal, pretty scary if you're afraid of heights.. highly recommended.

One of the oldest clocks in France and one of the most famous sights in Rouen. It is located on the busy street leading to the Cathedral with lots of shops in the area. It is really beautiful with a lot of details and symbols. Don`t miss the visit of the interior if you want to see the mechanisms and a different perspective of the city. The audioguide is very informative about the history of the clock and Rouen.

IT WAS SO COOL!!!!!!! I mean, the best part by far is the 360° view from the top of the tower, and do be advised tou have to climb the stairs all the way up, but it is so so worth it. And it's really not bad because they have little rooms for you to stop in along the way, along with an interesting prerecorded voice guide that tells you about the history of the town and the tower in a way that is very easily digestible. You get to be up close and personal with the 2 old bells and the clock face and the gear mechanism that works the clocks. I never thought I would nerd out about clocks, but here we are. I feel like Raymond Holt. And the lady who works there was just so kind and welcoming, I enjoyed every single minute of it, absolutely no complaints. I will definitely be back a few more times. Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience!!

Fascinating clock tower with good historic displays and great views of the city. Lots of narrow steps so only for the fit.

This place is quite Instagramly since it had a huge clock tower that ressembles the one in Prague! Sadly you cannot go on top but it is a noce photo spot

Iconic structure that you may come across whilst meandering through the beautiful streets of Rouen. It is fairly easy to find. The surrounding buildings are equally beautiful with shops and cafes. Rouen is a very pretty city.

A visit to the clock tower is well worth it. There is information about the clocks and you get a great view from the top

The clock structure look amazing but there’s nothing much to it. lots of shops surrounding it were all closed as it was Sunday. Plan your visit carefully to consider day of week

It's a pretty spot and has an interesting object but best seen early when the crowds are not milling about. Being free and in a walkable place such as Rouen it is a very popular stop. There are plenty of eateries and cafés nearby as well as other shops so it can easily be viewed while on the way to somewhere else.

Inside and outside view on a very old clock (1389) showing time, moon phase and day of the week. A nice picture of both medieval Rouen and contemporary Rouen. Worth the 7€50.

The Gros Horloge is worth a visit. It has an amazing view of Rouen at the top. Be warned that the stairs are old and very narrow.

Access to the iconic bell tower is 7 euro per person. It comes with a good audio guide that explains its history and the story of the city. The staircase is narrow and can be difficult for tall or big person. The view is great. The windows on each floor can be open and you can watch the beautiful clock face at close range, or the iconic golden lamb statue that symbolises Rouen. The top of the tower gives you unobstructed full view of the city. It is worth of the 7 euro and the climbing.

We followed the road from Saint Joan of Arcs Church to the clock. The clock looked quite interesting with all the golden accents. It wasn't as big and impressive as other clocks that I saw before like the Glockenspiel in Munich. It was still quite nice to look at the square and circular pattern of the clock. Another interesting point is the carving around it, particularly the ones in the arch underneath the clock. If you head under the clock it leads to the Notre Dame Cathedral.

It's a nice landmark. It would ring every hour. Gives the old town charm.

The clock is situated in the very center of Rouen in the same name street leading to the imposing Cathedral. It's undoubtedly a nice piece of art, but it's rather a pass by - one photo stop attraction. Don't expect something like Prague astronomic clock or the Munich City hall one

This was a fascinating place in which to spend an hour or so in Rouen city centre. The building still retains much of its ancient charm, and the views from the top of the tower are stunning in good weather. Be aware the climb to the top is up very narrow old spiral staircases which some may find challenging.

Brilliant visit with unique views on the city of Rouen and with the fantastic Gros-Horloge that is an ancient masterpiece

Very interesting with beautiful views of the city. However, they only let in a limited number of visitors. The guy at the ticket office took my name, told me to come back in 45 minutes and let me enter when I did return. I'm glad I did, because it certainly was worth it.

Lots of shopping both expensive and fair. Cobblestones the whole way so be prepared with your shoes.

The trip to the top is well worth the 7 Euros. You learn about the history of the clock tower while you climb with lots of stops along the way. I never know this was the oldest astronomical clock that works!
