This is a great park for the family. There are many areas to enjoy including pavilions, piers, benches, paved trails, unpaved trails, and more. We saw lots of different types of birds, fish, turtles, squirrels. There is a decent playground and several bathrooms around the park. The trails, both paved and unpaved, are stroller friendly. We will definitely come back.

Wish we had found this park sooner! Beautiful and peaceful paths. Didn't think this park was so big considering its in the middle of Largo. They also have a decent size dog park and lots of pavilions for family fun.

Eagle Lake Park is where I go to relax and get a breath of fresh air. This park is beautiful. There are so many things to see, many trails to explore, and wildlife/nature to capture your attention.

Absolutely love coming to this park with and without my kiddos. They have a great playground with restrooms nearby. Behind the playground is the perfect tree for your kids to climb on :) There are benches throughout the park with many trails surrounding the large pond with mini walking bridges and lookout points. This park also has a dog park and plenty of feild space to play.

Today's lunch spot. This is where my GPS took me . Beautiful little Park with a asphalt walking trail that wraps around Eagle Lake. It had bathrooms at each end of the park. A couple of pavilions to host a party. And a shaded walking trail under a canopy of trees. Last day of daylight savings. The sky was gorgeous

We had a great time exploring this park. Lots of different animals to see including alligators and turtles. Plenty of bike and walking paths. And there are pavilions to sit and eat your lunch.

Very cool scenery! I was greeted by an alligator, he kept his eye on me and kept swimming alongside of where I was walking. I was a little spooked but it was exciting.

Great scenery, very freen and full of life both plants and animals. The grounds seem to be very well taken care of. Easy walking paths and the picnic areas are very clean. The bathrooms are also very clean.

I like this dog park. It's very big, clean, shady, and has lots of benches to sit. I prefer this park because other parks have a lot of dirt and my dog ends up so dirty when we leave. This one has more grass and leaves so he doesn't get as dirty. There's a bathroom nearby and it's clean. There's also trails you can take them on.

We love that Pinellas County has so many amazing parks and Eagle lake is one of them! Eagle lake has a lot to offer. Walking trails, playground, dog park, lake, picnic shelters and bathrooms. They have paved and gravel trails to walk on, you can choose which way to go. There are so many trails to follow on Eagle lake Loop. According to All Trails app both trail loops are about 2.5 miles. The playground has a toddler area and bigger kids area to play. The dog park is fenced in and offers a good amount of shade. The lake has wooden dock that goes around the lake to check out the fish and Turtles. On our visit today we saw lots of Turtles 🐒. Bathrooms and picnic areas are clean and seem to be well maintained. So grateful for this park to walk around and be in nature to explore with our kids.

What a beautiful and calm walk thru the park. Very clean and well maintained with plenty of bathrooms, pavilions and playground area. We saw Cardinals, Bluejays, Roseate Spoonbills, Herons and a black snake. Most areas are dog friendly with paved and natural paths. The people we encountered were also super friendly! One improvement they could make is more signs to direct you on the pathways.

Love this park mostly for walking or biking the trails. There are a few non paved walking trails on the back side which is great if you’d like not to run into anyone. The dog park is nice but it’s mostly dirt expect the small dog pen. So expect to get dirty. They have 3 pens, small, medium and large. I prefer talking the dogs walking throughout the park. There are a few lakes and sometimes you can see alligators and they have very nice look out points on the lakes.

First time I had been there was so much fun. I had never been there before . The playground area is well kept along with the rest of the park. There is a trail to rollerblade on and some decks along the lake to watch the wildlife. Big trees for the kiddies to try and climb too!!

I love going here to relax and take in all the nature available while walking or biking on trails. The squirrels are so friendly. Next time I'll bring peanuts.

One of the hidden gems of Pinellas County. Even on Saturday afternoons, the park is never too crowded. Miles of trails where you can be alone in the peace of nature. Beautiful lakes. Has a really good playground for the kids. Tons of shelter and picnic space. Dog park is huge.

Beautiful park with lovely trails, allowing you to pass through nature while bird, alligator and turtle watching. They have plenty of biking trails and walking paths, along with areas to sit and relax as well as have lunch. Plenty of trash cans set up as well so there was no litter to be seen. Highly recommend if you're staying in the area and want to get out for some exercise.

This park was once a jewel in this area. It was a great place for walks, recreation, picnicking, etc. However, the homeless problem has created a situation that is potentially extremely dangerous. Homeless people at sunrise to wander the neighborhoods and return to the park at sunset, walking right in since there are no gates in some parts of this park. They camp out in the woods throughout the park and you can see where they stay if you ever are brave enough to walk back into the bracken. No thank you.

Eagle Lake Park in Largo, Florida, is a serene and picturesque lake that offers a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors. Located in the heart of Pinellas County, this park spans approximately 163 acres, providing a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of urban. Notice a separate dog park for large dogs and one for small dogs. Even has a walk just for dogs.

It was my first time exploring this park yesterday. If you feel like you need an escape from the city this park despite its location, will have you feeling lost in the woods. Literally. If you aren't afraid of taking a walk off the trails, you can immerse yourself in some beautiful landscape. DEFINITELY gave me the Forrest in the movie Twilight.

This was such a nice park! Took my toddler here the other day and it was a nice mixture of playground and nature. There's a nice little dock to see turtles and birds. Also a HUGE old tree to climb. Fun!

This park screams "old Florida" with live oaks, Spanish moss, and a pond full of turtles. There is ample (regular and handicapped) parking throughout the park with wide, winding, paved trails for both short and long walk options. There is a public restroom immediately to the left as you enter the park, beside the dog parks. It's generally flat so I recommend this to ADA wheelchair users. Park closes right at sunset - I mean they close the gates - so keep track of your location as the sun sinks.

I'm so thankful be be so close to this wonderful park. It is where I go when I want to get away from the rat race and have I nice walk. There is a lot of nature to see there. Picnic tables with grills everywhere. Also clean and well maintained. The park staff always offer a smile every time I am there.
